I don't think a fear of the existence of aliens would be too bad. If you're advanced enough for interstellar travel you also have the capability to wipe out entire planets more or less effortlessly. If they even catch a whiff of our existence it would be easier to simply destroy us than to risk letting us survive long enough to reach the point that we could do the same thing to them.

That said I think the fear of aliens ever screwing with you personally or something would obviously be a bit irrational. But after pretty much making our planet a beacon to anyone who cares to look in our direction at our first opportunity, it's probably not that irrational to fear the idea of alien existence.

skinwalkers and alyiums and a fun kind of scary. I believe in them but I dont go fucking around in their neck of the woods and have a better chance running into a regular pyscho then I do something like that

Clones, Parallel universe selfs or A.I. Copies of humans existing.

The hypothetical gives me the creeps.
My girlfriend, friends, family, all love me for me.
If someone came along that was me in all the ways they loved me but was better in places I myself as the original lacked.
How easily could you be replaced? Would they even notice? Would they care?
