Duh! There shouldn't have been a veil in the first place. The World "merging" actually was completly merged before. It didn't have any intelligent Life but plenty of "Future" compared to this. The Merge was done in a non intrusive way and shouldn't have affected anybody other then share a bit of "Future".

It wasn't my fault People started to mess with Timetravel. They activated a different timeline and made the "merge" partly undone. It sucks a bit but isn't much of a problem. The Future and is one and many after that.

I always used to think that the whole mankind is the portrait of a living purgatory. We're stuck in an invisible testing ground with a limited amount of time.
