ever since i was a child ive had reverse premonitions in the form of de ja vu. in the sparse few times i can recall the source it always stems from a dream. at the time i'd either forget about it (as in the case with most dreams), or just shrug it off. some span years, brief recollections of childhood dreams made true before my very eyes. it's chilling, although i'm shure you've felt de ja vu before. needless to say i get this alot.

i only bring this up because ive been having nightmares. not that of ghosts and ghouls but human men braking into my home, chasing me through my street and killing me (all sepparet dreams). i see them in such vivid clarity i belive it to be a sign of my own demise. recently i've been seeing people loitering around in the dead of night on street corners around my home and i've grown increasingly more paranoid.

am i letting my fears get the better of me?

I too have experienced what you are describing. Many of my dreams seem to come true, sometimes immediately and sometimes years later. For example: I used to have recurring nightmares about a terrible event taking place in which a dark tower would fall and many people would die. After 9/11, I never again had this nightmare. Other examples are less intense, and therefore less memorable. As for your paranoia, it could be a manifestation of your dreams or vice-versa. My advice is to push away your fear with positive feelings of empathy for these strangers you are seeing. Imagine that they have the same hopes and fears that you have. Chances are, most of them want to live in peace just like you.

i have reason to believe there is an entity or body acting in what one might call the dream scape, trying to break down the connection people like us have in dreams and make you think you've been crazy all along. i've kept a dream journal for a long time so i can prove to people, trust me, helps keep your sanity. spend to much time in your dreams and they will start impacting you waking life

I Have this as well, were does this come from? Could it be from the creator of the universe?

I know what you are talking about and I have had it for as long as I can remember. I used to feel fear and dread, sometimes I would fuck around or whatever to make it distinctly different from the dream, but but I just kind of accept it at this point. Not like I can do shit about it anyway.

oooh hell yeah

sometimes something happens and i get maximum deja vu

not to mention events randomly repeating themselves

>reverse premonitions
Those are called "memories."
>in the form of de ja vu
Dreams aren't déjà vu.
>am i letting my fears get the better of me?
Maybe, but I'd make sure my doors are locked and get a security system (or a dog) just in case.

Same shit here seriously...Early Childhood Memorys, Precognitive Deja `Vus(i call it my "Retrovision") and regular vacation in Fuckupnightmareland..also some kind of unrelliable Mind Reading Ability, mostly works on Ppl i feel really close to and/or especially stupid/simple Ppl. If your Nightmares continue to bother you, try Lucid Dreaming...that did the Trick for me. Most of the shit you dream is nothing to worry about, just your oversensitive subconsciousness fucking with the Rest of your Mind.. The Retrovision seems to be connected with some kind of Dreamstate, but so far i was`nt able to memorize one of those Moments that occure as "already seen" when happening.Oh and one lil advice: If you should really be one of the unlucky ones who are "gifted" with a whole Vision of some kind of incident, the best thing would be to keep quiet about it...prepare yourself and your loved ones first, then you can still consider to send a warning to the Rest of the World.

What he meant by reverse is that, as you experience a seemingly mundane event, or not, you may remember that you've dreamt it, and might have been some time ago.

Deja vu, I feel I've been in this thread before.

HIGHER ON THE BEAT, AND I KNOW IT'S THE PLACE TO GOOOO
>>
>>18245414
What you described is just regular deja vu.

You didn't dream it. Your brain tries to make sense of the fact that it thinks it's experienced a situation before and creates the memory of having dreamed it years before.
>>
>>18249126
ah, so the people who actually clearly remember their dream before the event happens are just bullshitting then? Fuck off, faggot. You don't even know what deja vu really is, so retards like you can't claim this.
>>
>>18249124
Came here to post this pretty much
>>
>>18249133
>I totally remembered it before it happened guise believe me!!
>I am totally special and have a power!!!
You obviously don't understand deja vu.
>>
I know what you're talking about. The reality is actually still kind of cool though. You don't "remember" that you had a dream until it happens because you never had a dream about it.
Deja Vu is what happens when the left side and right side of your brain can't communicate quickly enough. So your brain takes in the information and processes it before the other side of your brain can catch up. By the time it does catch up and you the experience was already processed and stored in your memory, making it seem like it must have happened before. Since your brain can't make sense of that happening you just chalk it up to having dreamed it earlier.

I used to have those dreams when I was a lot younger, too. It wasn't ever anything major but it was eerie nonetheless to hear the same words and see it from the same perspective.
