How were the first few levels solved?

Levels go from 7 down. Next week level 4 will open.
Each level is easier and made to fit different solvers. If you cant solve current level maybe next level will suit you more.

Later you will be able to advance on higher levels solving challenges for members.

Solution for level 7 is in wiki.gamedetectives.net
Solution for level 6 is not published yet because authors of wiki respected PMs request to not publish it yet. Hints are on UF.
Both of them are deactivated now although files are still on the server, just not in the html of index page anymore.

you are close, but you arent interpreting book code correctly
focus on first number in book code, look at range of numbers used
and know that only one of 154 paths leads to the key

I have been talking to PMs via Contact Us form about personal info, they are saying that they follow their policy and that some other ARGs required even more data.
