>Film crew comes to film on Indian tribal land which is held sacred by local native americans as it is believed to be the site of a massacre by cavalry in the 1800s but they've paid the local tribal authority good money and so they start digging up area anyway. Previous attempt to film cowboys versus indians film at same location decades ago, before local Nation had any say in their own affairs matter, after several on set deaths including actors being shot by guns meant to firing blanks. Widely believed at the time to have been sabotage by the Native Americans but with rumours of it being cursed of course, rumours that people now believe.

>Locals start seeing both ghostly native americans and army guys recreating the same battle over and over which is okay except it's kind of dull and the weapons actually start doing damage. Living native Americans insist that GBs can't trap the native american spirits. Film crew who hired GBs insists the ghosts have to go right away as it's costing millions. Lots of opportunities for wonderful red tape here.

>Further investigations reveal the old director died the same day the haunting started. With a film crew in town he was just trying to get his old unfinished film finished. Why did people die on set and why do the ghost guns work for real? Like certain old school directors, if the leading lady wouldn't sleep with him he upped the intensity of his production. He thought it would increase authenticity if real bullets whizzed past her head. No one was actually meant to get hurt. Oh dear, that's the joy of being a contract player.
