No. All spirits are immortal, including you. You are thoroughly convinced that the essence of you is a finite human being, which gets to dick around on Earth for awhile and then cease to exist.

Sadly, this is not the objective reality that you play a part in. You can go on acting like a human for as many lifetimes as you like, but you will never be able to leave this place.

You have to admit, this world would be a better place if people thought they'd have to keep being reborn forever and there was no leaving existence even after death. We wouldn't run up obscenely high debt for the next generation to pay back or trash the environment and we would be more careful in raising children if we believe they would be our future parents and grandparents. We would also do more to colonize space if the extinction of the human race meant being reborn as cockroaches or whatever survived the next extinction-level event. I don't believe in reincarnation but there are advantages to the belief in reincarnation.
