Well, In my short experience those rituals work either as a hype-up and, metaphorically, a bonfire that atracts spirits, or at least it lets them know that you may want some sort of communication. But if you don't communicate with them or you're just no fun they'll go away sooner or later, but nothing that a lesser banishing of the pentagram wont solve

Thanks for the reply. Yea that was kind of the goal, to attract spirits. The thing is I don't know what to look for as a sign of contact, and i don't know what to do next now that they know of me. I was really unprepared and shouldn't of done it, but i'm not going back.

I should mention that the variant i performed was the Gordon White version, which replaces the Four cardinal directions with the Four Kings of the Grimoire.

As for the dream, I was sitting in a cafe on the ocean and was flirting with this dude that looked like Aziz Ansari. I was looking out on the ocean and the scenery started to change. Huge mountains started to appear, with ruins and stuff. It looked like Tibet, but in my mind i knew it was New York. Soon the ground beneath me turned into a a beach, and i was standing on a rock a bit into the water. There was a waterfall about 40 feet away, but it was flowing upwards. The rock i was on fell over and i fell into the water. The current started pulling me towards the waterfall but I couldn't swim away no matter how i tried. I couldn't breath and i closed my eyes while i fought the tide. I realized i shouldn't have had my eyes closed, so I opened them, and that was when i was able to get my feet on a rock and push myself away on the side.

Is it retarded that i feel "atracted"( or we could use the word "lured" too), by Astaroth?

So, for personal reasons I dislike the idea of callling/summoning/etc them to go inside a triangle while I stand in a circle, like the usual setup suggests.

Okay goetics. Counsel me on this. Based on these preferences, do you recommend me goetic magic to any extent, at all? Some other thing?

In any case I can't do any rituals other than makeshift right now (time - place constraints) and I wouldn't pester the demons just for that, but I might consider it in the future and read up in the meantime.

- I'd rather have nothing to do with the final boss of heaven, at all, if possible. I guess i'd be willing to use the word YHVH... reluctantly... but directed prayer is a no-no.

- I'm not 100% comfortable with using words that are known to have a certain meaning without understanding them myself

- I'm not going to deliberately worship anything. Agreements, payments or gestures are OK.

- I'm very much willing to approach it all respectfully and do my best to not be a jerk, in the case I decide to actually phone some demon or some shit like that.

Especially a bad idea when you externalize demons. This leads to a form of self-inflicted schizophrenia (hearing voices) and multiple personality disorder.

Try meditation instead, and focus on getting yourself into a calm serene state.

One excersise is lying down, moving focus from limb to limb, imagining them to be stone/very heavy. Breath in through your nose, fill your belly (not your breast) with air, hold in, breath out through your mouth. Focus on your breathing and on making your entire body heavy.

You'll probably get sexually aroused... That is normal for many people starting out with peaceful meditation.

(Sexual arousal is actually a Goetic demon, but don't quote me on this.)

TLDR: Goetic demons are states of mind. Demons are internal manifestations of your Self.

The question I made was regarding a not-immediate future anyways, and meditation is earlier in the list - I'm not going to perform demonic rituals if I don't sort my meditation better before. It's not like I have a rationale for it, but just in case.

Why do you think so? I'm actually not keen at all on doing evil stuff, and you're making it sound like I already am. I think silverfishes are cute, and today I felt bad because I accidentaly broke the kitchen mortar, FFS.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm considering enochian magic just as much. But it's too heavy on YHVH, I'm okay with angels but I'd rather not deal with their boss.
