Either way the whole life on mars thing is pretty crucial. If, after actually exploring the surface, they don't find any historical trace of life on it, that's potentially even more disturbing.

Considering that mars had in the past pretty much the same conditions for creating life as earn did, and considering the extremities in which we now know life exists on earth, then if there's never been life on mars, you have to ask why? And what does this mean for life everywhere?

This. It's all shot on earth in remote areas. Devon island is the largest uninhabited island in the world. On this island is a crater the exact same size as the crater explored by one of the mars rovers (21 miles or km IIRC). This is also where they did the Mars 500 experiment.

All these weird artifacts are shooped in to entertain the dumb general public into believing in ayy lmaos and ancient civilizations on Mars.
