/x/ isn't what it used to be, we all know that. So how about a mixed "good old fashioned" thread.
Creepypastas, nopes, greentexts, innawoods or whatever personal experiences you got. Don't be shy.
Posting a personal favorite to get things rolling.
>>
I remember back in the day when /lit/ and /x/ were sister boards. A shitload of great copypasta came out of those days, although /lit/ was just Ayn Rand and Lovecraft threads over and over again.

Bring some friends and a camera if you go back. If it was a working CCTV camera, I'd wait a little while before going though. (if this story is recent).

You might want to scout the location again. Head into the woods and scope the place out, but don't head onto the property. They might have put up more cameras, or rigged the doors with alarms. If Malaysian laws are anythign like US laws, the reason for this might be as benign as liability. If some jabroni goes onto your property and gets hurt, he can sue your ass for damages. If the logging company still owns the land, they probably don't want people dicking around on it. Of course their "no trespassing" signs may have fallen away and it's not worth having a security guard, but cameras are a good way to at least have evidence of people dicking around.

The rooms may have been used to store valuable or personal belonging back when the camp was operational. That way you don't need cameras in all the dorms, but you can have one in a secured locker room that only workers can enter. Or it might be where they kept money or valuable tools that were worth stealing. The camera being on is probably just a fluke. Maybe the owner of the property is keeping the electricity running while trying to sell the land, or might be planning to do something else with it.

Anyway, if you scout the area and it looks clear, head back with some friends and film what you can. Most modern cameras have night vision modes, so you could film the interior while not disturbing whatever might be in there.

Leddit didn't seem to care about my experience, so I thought I'd share here. More stories to come, probably in different threads...Pic was from another towns urban ghost story. (Ladies in white on the side of the road seem to be a common phenomenon)..

I work in a rather large city that's pretty much divided into four areas:

Near the water: " The Flat Lands" aka the hood.. basically where most calls for service come from.

As you move up further north you have the middle class neighborhoods.. not as many calls for service here, most calls are to report burglaries or Domestic violence.

Up top there are the "Hills", Huge houses, mansions pretty much where all the wealthy live. Rarely any calls for service from this area.

As you move even further north it (High Hills) starts to get rural, you have redwoods, pine trees, deers and long stretches of dark road with large houses/properties some with horses, with acres of space in between each property. We almost never get any calls from here. But the some of the most heinous OR weird things seem to occur up in this area (Reports of torture dungeons, satanic rituals involving the sacrifice of animals, satanic orgies, occult gatherings.. etc) I'll post some more stories related to the above, but for now I'll start off with something somewhat recent: The woman in white.

I think every everyone has heard from someone else about an urban legend in the town they live in about some woman dressed in all white who tries to flag down hitchhikers late at night. We all know you're not supposed to pick this women up etc... Cont

The cops in our department share tons of urban myths, one of which is about the famous woman in white who can sometimes be found walking along the side of the road way up in the rural hills. Senior officers have said that if you stop for this woman, she will ask one of two questions: "Can you give me a ride down the hill?" Or "Can you give me a ride down the "HELL" if she says "Hill" it's OK to give her a ride, if she says "HELL" drive away as fast as you can.

On a cool foggy night at around 3AM I get dispatched to the high hills to investigate a woman reporting that her husband had hit her and locked her out of her house. I start heading up the hill and as I drive further up hill, it's starts to get foggy (Which is normal on a cool night) I hit my patrol vehicle's high beams and continue on.

I'm about 20 yards or so away from the residence in question when I see someone wearing all white running back and forth across the roadway ahead of me. Thinking this must be the caller I drive up beside her and ask if she was the woman who called about her husband.

The woman was a white female, in her 40's thin with blonde hair wearing an all white nightgown and no shoes, very pretty, in a modest way.

The woman says she didn't call. I ask he if she needed any help and she responds: "No, but there's a woman screaming over there" she points towards the area where my call for service was coming from. I roll my window up and begin to drive towards the home when the woman starts waving with both her hands as I am driving away and asks if I could "Give her a ride down the hill" (At this point I am not thinking about the "Woman in white") so I tell her sure, I unlock the doors and she takes a seat in the back of my patrol car. I call for backup as I am making my way to my call.

As I am leaving my patrol car I tell the woman to sit tight, and that I'll be back. I lock my patrol car and head towards the house.. (She's sitting in the back of a patrol car anyway so she has no choice but to sit tight as there is no way to get out of the rear of a cop car without the door being opened from the outside.)

I walk down a long driveway only to discover that the house where the call originated from is for sale. No curtains covering the windows, no furniture inside. The home is unoccupied. I have the dispatcher try a call back to the "Victim" who does not pick up.

I head back to my patrol car as my backup pulls up. I tell him the caller is GOA or we where given a bad location and that I'm going to give this woman in the back of my patrol car a courtesy ride down the hill. Back up officer says "OK" and heads out. I take a seat in my patrol car and I begin to apologize to the woman for the wait, but I get no response from her. I look behind me and no one is there, I am the only person inside of my patrol car. I call my backup who had cleared the the area and I ask if he let the woman in the back of my patrol car out, he says he didn't, he jokes and says "I think you picked up the woman in white"

Yea, I think I did.

Still here anon, actually here right now; it's not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and I legitimately enjoy it.

Gonna share some weird shit that went down some years ago

>be me, 18
>parents rarely at home, usually in another city for work
>night, about 2AM
>go grab some water
>look out the window while sipping, see something resembling a human running past
>"probably another thief here to get a free ass piercing" I told myself
>grab the bow and quiver, 5 arrows in it
>goodenough.jpg
>go outside, try to locate him
>yell at him, tell him to show his face
>movement to my right
>quickscopetime.avi
>no thief, instead see what could be best described as black smoke loosely shaped like a man
>take a shot, arrow goes right through
>"wtf I missed?"
>fire another one
>again goes right through
>nignog 4.0 detected, changing armament
>run in house, grab my blowgun
>get some nail tipped darts along with pic related
>explosive darts inside, detonate upon contact, bang as loud as .30
>back outside
>nignog still there
>fire a nailhead, no effect
>open up the boom box, load an HE
>fire said dart at the feet
>boom.png
>my fucking ears
>the smoke making up the nignog dissipated
>didn't leave anything behind
>woke up the whole town, all claim to have heard a gunshot

To this day I have no idea what that thing was but I was glad to have had those explosive darts

>Live in rural Louisiana
>Go stay at my uncle's place
>He's got about an acre of his land cleared, surrounded by woods
>There's a trail that goes along side his property
>I decide to walk it with his dog and have a smoke
>The sun is setting
>I get to a point where it's too overgrown to continue
>Turn to go back and the dog dashes off
>I struggle through the woods for a little while calling him
>He won't come, so I turn and head back
>I get start to feel like I'm being watched
>I make it to the trail entrance and have another smoke
>I'm calling the dog and the sun is almost down
>I look towards the house with my back to the trail
>Then I hear the most blood-curling screech
>It sounded so close to my back and I took of running
>People have asked if it could've been a wild cat
>I highly doubt that, it sounded like nothing I've heard before
>It sounded like a distorted female screeching

I've always got feelings of dread at night around that area. It's a very creepy place.

Animals can make some pretty fucked up noises, I've been living in the woods for the past week and I've heard shit that could be copy pasted right into a horror movie. But who knows really
