I'm curious about the mechanics of a flat Earth

What are the Sun and Moon?
What is keeping them from falling to Earth?
What force is moving them through the sky?
Why don't they succumb to the friction of the atmosphere?
Why can't the Sun be seen at all times, despite the fact that it would always be at least 15° above the horizon?
If we can't see the Sun, how is it lighting up the Moon?
If the Sun isn't lighting up the Moon, why do portions of it frequently remain unlit? (half moon, crescent moon, new moon)
What occurs during a solar eclipse?
What occurs during a lunar eclipse?
If gravity doesn't exist, what force is attracting us towards the Earth?
What causes the seasons?
What causes the tides?
>>
You can't see the sun at all times because sometimes it is very far away.
Do some research into how perspective works. Things either raise to eye level at the horizon or sink to eye level. When anything Is 3000 times further away than it is wide/long it disappears to the human eye. It can be seen with a telescope or binoculars though. Eventually it will get so far away that atmospheric distortion will cause it to disappear.

The sun does not light up the moon. The moon is self lit. The moon also does not control tides because gravity isnt real, all there is is density. Things that are dense fall or sink, things that are less dense rise. The moon had its phases of different lighting. Possibly because it is like a giant capacitor. It also gives off cold light, so anything in moonlight will get colder than anything in moonlights shade. Seasons are because the suns path gets tighter into the north pole and it moves slower during north hemi winter, and vice versa for summer

God is the answer to all of your questions.
>>
Check out eric dubay and David wiess and rob skiba.
>>

>You can't see the sun at all times because sometimes it is very far away.
The Sun is incredibly bright. Why can I see stars through this atmospheric distortion, but not the Sun? Why can't I see it with a telescope designed to amplify this light?

>The moon is self lit.
How? Why do portions of it remain unlit in an observable cycle?

>The moon also does not control tides
Then what does?

>Things that are dense fall or sink, things that are less dense rise
Why? What force is acting upon them? Why don't denser objects move up?

> It also gives off cold light
What are the properties of this light? Is it on the electromagnetic spectrum? Where does the moon gets its energy from? How does radiating light make something colder?

>Seasons are because the suns path gets tighter into the north pole and it moves slower during north hemi winter, and vice versa for summer
Why does the Sun do that? What is moving it through the sky?
>>
>>18155646
I want specific answers to these questions, not a pre-packaged youtube lecture.

If you understand the mechanics of a flat world, you should be able to explain them.
>>
>>18155651
As for the stars not disappearing, it is because they are overhead, where as the sun moves away to the point where it goes past the horizon.

I can't answer your questions about the moon but I do know that if you measure the temp of something in moonlight it is colder than something in moon shade.

There is an ancient belief that there is a massive magnetic mountain called mount meru at the north pole and a whirl pool that controls the tides.

Many things are unknown, this knowledge has been hidden for so long. There are many ancient and modern theories that explain many of these things though.
>>
>>18155654
Please don't be ridiculous. I gave you direct answers to some of your questions. Others are not known because of the fact that the elite have convinced everyone of the globe lie. So it hasn't been studied
>>
>>18155691
>>18155678
If there are so many unknowns with your theory, what reason do you have to disbelieve in a round earth?

Just start with gravity. Why would a denser object move down unless some force is acting upon it?

I mean, we can witness that a bowling ball and feather fall at the exact same rate in a vacuum. Doesn't that make you question your theory?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E43-CfukEgs
>>
>>18155608
>sometimes it is far away

If it just went too far away, it would just get smaller and smaller and smaller, instead of disappearing below the horizon the same size as when it's at noon.
>>
>>18155646
I've seen their videos and none of them provide answers to these questions. They simply change the subject and dodge them.
>>
>>18155691
>I have you direct answers to some of your questions

No you did, you referred to dead ends who don't answer the questions.
>>
>>18155709
Well there are many reasons why I believe it. Most importantly that there is no curvature. Please do some research!
>>
>>18155678
>it is because they are overhead
and the Sun isn't?

Given the alleged distance of the Sun from the Earth and the alleged Diameter of the flat Earth, the Sun would always be 15 degrees above the horizon. It would never disappear.
>>
>>18155678
>As for the stars not disappearing, it is because they are overhead, where as the sun moves away to the point where it goes past the horizon.

The only way the sun could go below the horizon is if the horizon is between the sun and the viewer.

If a guy walks behind a tree, it's not because he walked so far away that he's so tiny you can't see you any more, it's because the tree is between him and your line of sight.

This is literally the game of peekaboo that infants play.

>I can't answer your questions about the moon but I do know that if you measure the temp of something in moonlight it is colder than something in moon shade.

It does not. Moon light does not make things colder. That is not even how light works. There are youtube videos claiming this is the case, all of them are lying and conducting poor experimental practices. For example measuing "moonlight" out in the cold night wind.

>There is an ancient belief that there is a massive magnetic mountain called mount meru at the north pole and a whirl pool that controls the tides.

Who believed this? When? Why would it be at the north pole when the magnetic north pole is in a different spot. We have been to both the true and magnetic north pole and there are no magnetic mountains there.

Who believed that whirlpools caused tides? That was pretty stupid of them. Do you believe it? It's even stupider now. Where does the water come from? Where does it go? What force causes it?

>Many things are unknown

By you. Because you're stupid. Other people know things that you don't know. Lot's of things.
>>
>>18155761
Have you ever been at a high enough altitude to observe the curvature (50,000 ft, 60 degrees of vision, no cloud cover)?

And what does curvature have to do with gravity? Why do you disbelieve gravity, yet believe that there is some mysterious force causing denser objects to move downwards?
>>
the mechanics for flat earth dont work because flat earth is bullshit.

see: everyone else in the thread.
>>
If the earth is flat what is on the bottom?
>>
>>18155780
Jet engines.

There is no gravity, so we have to be accelerating upwards at 9.8 m/s^2
>>
>>18155776
people that believe the earth is flat can't be reasoned with.
>>
>>18155784
where do they get the fuel from? Who keeps them running and full of fuel?
>>
>>18155780
all the jew gold
>>
>>18155793
There is a second sun down there fueling the engines

It also explains why it seems to get hotter, the deeper down you dig
>>
>>18155793
They're magic jet engines, dumbass.
>>
>>18155796
why would jews keep their gold underneath the earth?

>>18155802
it gets hotter because of the earth's molten core.
>>
Do people that believe the earth is flat believe every planet is flat? Or just earth?
>>
>>18155814
>it gets hotter because of the earth's molten core.
gosh anon, have you ever seen this core? Scinetists seem pretty """"certain"""" that it eixsts, and yet the deepest we've ever dug is a mere 8 miles down. Not even a fraction of the way through this supposed """"crust""""

Prove to me that there isn't a second sun down there, propelling the Earth upwards

>>18155808

>>18155796
no but for the record, the jew gold is what fuels the engines, because it conducts better than copper and doesn't succumb to rust or wear from use like in ancient egypt
>>
>>18155819
There are no other planets. Mars is just a red pinhole light, like the rest of the stars.
>>
>>18155823
gosh anon, have you ever seen this second sun?
>>
>>18155832
so all the other planets are just made up bull shit? What is the point of that?
>>
>>18155836
That's the point. I'm not saying that there's definitely a second Sun down there. Just that it's an equally valid hypothesis to explain gravity and the heat we feel.

I only believe something once I see evidence. If you could give me evidence that there isn't another Sun down there, I would change my beliefs.

To be honest, I think the thing about Hitler believing in a flat earth might have been a story promoted by the people who own the mass media which are shown on this list:

Also, if you want to know how the people on this list got to be where they are, start reading at page 12 in this book:

Can clouds fall of the edge? How do jet-stream and weather work?

Third time I have asked for info on this.
>>
>>18155843
travel around the earth and try to find it
>>
>>18155560
What is keeping them from falling to Earth?
amazing point considering gravity isn't real, can't believe i missed this one.
the best explanation i've read for the tides is the earth kind of slides back and forth a bit so that causes the tides.

the seasons are explained by the sun going closer to the center (north pole) and then back out again.

i think that is funny tho because the sun would be moving a lot faster near the north pole than the outer edge. example being a ceiling fan http://engineering.mit.edu/ask/does-outside-edge-ceiling-fan-blade-move-faster-inside-edge-0

"Imagine two circular running tracks — one encircles the other. A person is running a lap on the smaller track while another person is running a lap on the longer track. For both people to run one lap in the same amount of time, the person running on the longer track would have to run faster than the person on the shorter track."
>>
>>18155854
wasting your time. People that believe in a flat earth refuse to listen to reason.
>>
>>18155865
If that explains seasons how does it explain eclipses?
>>
>>18155847
that's some pretty big pinholes
>>
>>18155854
>Can clouds fall of the edge?
There is no edge, clouds float over the antarctic wall

>How do jet-stream and weather work?
same way they would work on a round earth? The sun heats the area at the equator more than adjacent areas. This difference in air and water temperature causes movement.
>>
>>18155560
So am I too assume that all people that believe that the earth is flat have never been on a boat or airplane and or do not own a compass?
Because it seems that proving their theory would be as simple as trying to circumnavigate the world in a straight line while making sure they don't change heading and if you can reach your starting point without changing direction the world is round and if you bump into a wall or whatever and have to turn around it's flat.
Seriously there are enough of you people it seems splitting the cost of a boat rental would be feasible.

People have been exploring the antarctic for over a century.

Why say anything at all, then? Maybe because its funny to see people like you react exactly the way you're reacting now. And for all your righteous indignation, I'm still laughing, you'll call me an idiot/fedoratipper/troll and 4chan will continue being 4chan.

not a flat earther, but with the moon there is weird stuff going on

Like a lunar wave (a wave from one end of the moon) which displaces craters, meaning its not just airturbulance created by some jet passing by as some people said would be the reason. some people believe because of this stuff its just a hologram, or at least a hologram covering something else behind it

I rarely come to /x/, much less post, but this flat earth shit boggles my mind.

Here is imagery taken this morning from GOES West at 1500 Zulu (UTC). GOES West is a Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite, sitting at 135°W 0°N, at an altitude of approximately 22240 statue miles. Due to the nature of a geostationary orbit, it stays over the same spot on earth 24/7. It has the ability to take images of the entire hemisphere in both visible (black+white) and infrared channels (4 separate wavelength ranges) due to its altitude. This is an image taken in the visible spectrum from when the terminator (divider between night and day) is directly below the satellite. In the image, the left side is before the sun rises, and the right side is after the sun has risen. When the image is received, a computer overlays borders around continents and islands. Image results like these are only possible when photographing a sphere (spheroid).

I cannot believe people still think the earth is flat.

No you numb nuts, things moving in a circle have force going to the inside of the circle because that is ultimately where they are accelerating. If they were accelerating outward like you claim it would fly out of the circle. Fucking idiot.

>Hur dur fast car means that you can't move forward at a constant speed
Again, no, you're thinking acceleration. If you're right in the fact that speed makes it harder to move to grab something on the dash at 250 mph than 40 it should be harder at 40 than 0, but it isn't if you're going a constant speed.

He also keeps 0ing out relative to earth. Has this guy never been on a bus? Yes you can move forward on a speeding bus (if it's travelling at a constant speed). Your body is only pushing you forward the speed of your walk, you are ALREADY MOVING AT THE SPEED OF THE BUS.

Stuff in the moonlight seems to be colder than stuff in the shadow in the same night. If its because the sun isnt heating up (which certainly makes it cooler) both objects would be the same temperature, orthe one in the moonlight would be even warmer since its reflecting the sunlight which heats stuff up. The only way stuff in the moonlight being colder than in the shadow is meassuring error, different exposure to wind or streams of cold/warm air or that the moonlight does indeed cool stuff down, which would be a complete new type of radiation since so far radiation emits energy (heat) and not draws it from other objects

Earth diameter km

R = 1
Asquare = 4
Acircle = 3.1416
4-3.1416 = 0.8584
0.8584/3.1416 = 0.273
3474/12742 = 0.273
Fuck right?
How about moon takes 27.3 days to get around Earth too.

Look at the drawing to the left. It is a circle inscribed inside a square. The Earth and the Moon conform absolutely to this simplest of geometrical figures. Let us imagine that the green circle represents the Earth. If this was the case, then everything in the drawing that is not green and is shown in red, would represent the Moon.

The drawing is an expression of a mathematical fact. It represents the relationship between π (Pi) and the number 4. The symbol π appears time and again in mathematics and it has fascinated people for at least 6,000 years. π defines the relationship of the diameter of a circle to its circumference. The true definition of π cannot be discovered because it appears to go on forever. However, if we round it off at the fourth decimal point we could say that π is 3.1416. This is exactly what the builders of the Moon did – they considered π to be equal to 3.1416 – which is yet another way we know that the Moon cannot be a natural object.
The Ultimate Truth

The relationship of π and the number 4 throws up a number of ratios.
π + 0.366 of π = 4.

We could also express this as 27.322% of π added to π would equal 4.

The relationship of the Earth and the Moon throws up the same ratios.
Earth’s polar circumference, plus 0.366 of Earth’s polar circumference equals Earth and Moon size combined. As a result it would also be correct to say that the Moon is equal to 27.322% of the size of the polar Earth.

in regards to >>18158240
the GOES satellite is at the exact average distance of satelites, with around a thousand more being lower in orbit than that. So where would they be?
inb4 "they're all at low earth orbit and can't be seen because they're too small"
Then why are there none seen in any ISS feeds which is in LEO

Why is it in tracking websites for aircraft, are there none in the southern hemisphere crossing over from south america to africa or southern africa to australia

Why is it 99% of flights to new zealand from cape town drags you to dubai first, rather than a direct flight straight to auckland. Especially when you take into account that the normal map we look at, isn't accurate other than a navigational aid; the Gall-Peters projection map is actually a lot more accurate, and shows less sense.
Taking a flight from buenes aires to beijing is a one stop flight that takes you upwards through brazil, and then through spain, central europe, and then curves down into china. Why? Wouldn't it make more sense to go in the opposite direction in a straight line towards the east coast of china?
Because there are no shortcuts on flat earth.
Take a look at the flat earth map. It'd make complete sense on that map, for flights from cape town to go to dubai then australia/nz
It'd also make perfect sense for flights from argentina to go through brazil and europe before getting to China

If the same side of the moon always faces the earth, then how did Apollo 11, land in the sea of tranquility (which is around the centre of the moon) take a picture of the earth on the horizon of the moon. The curvature of the earth is supposed to be around 8 inches per mile if you use the pythagorean theorem. Yet the bedford level experiment is dismissed due to atmospheric refraction

But if we take a plane up 40,000 feet, the horizon is still flat? How is that possible, we should have to look down for our eyes to meet the horizon. The chicago skyline is also dismissed due to refraction, but it is clearly visible yet should be around 2400 feet undernearth the horizon
The only time i've seen curvature through photos, are those balloons sent up with go-pros that have fish eye lenses - the curvature goes in the opposite direction when the camera looks above the horizon, and down when it goes below.

Well, ignoring the videos where you can see videos, the reason you don't see them often is because they're small, and the earth is big.

>Why don't we see them in ISS feeds

Again, because they're small, and the space they cover is huge.

>Why is it that flights from Cape Town to Dubai rather than Auckland.

Because most passengers leaving Cape Town aren't going to Auckland. Most of them are going to other places in the world, so they stop at the huge airport hub that is Dubai.

Now if you are going to Auckland, then you'd probably want to take a more direct flight.

So Cape Town to Johannesburg, Johannesburg to Sydney, and Sydney to Auckland, for example.

>It'd make sense on a north polar projection maps

Flights over the northern hemisphere make more sense with this map. Flights over the Southern hemisphere, from Johannesburg to Sydney, for example, don't make any sense at all. ANSWER THIS

It's a civilian base. No coverup.
>>
>>18163115

So the argument is that the true nature of world wasn't discovered until modern times? All the older maps and discoveries confirming a round earth were just mistakes. Interesting take. Around when do think the truth was discovered?

This isn't a popular opinion in response to cover-up theories like these, but I don't believe chaos would break out if a discovery like that were made and announced. Whether the earth is flat or round, doesn't actually affect our daily lives in the least. I still have to work and take care of my family.

It's actually less impactful on our lives than something like the discovery of alien visitors or that our world is a simulation.

The earth's shape literally wouldn't change things for most people. For example, in your theory, everyone's being fooled now... and suffering no repercussions for it.
>>
>Gravity isn't real
How retarded can you be
>>
>>18163132
>How come gravity "isn't real" but has been scientifically proven by each and every physicist alive?

Einstein couldn't even get gravity down (lol)
Gravity was used in his universal field theory in the form of a cosmological constant. Except they say that the universe is expanding and is therefore not infinite and not constant
The equation is then unbalanced as the value is changing all the time which means gravity cannot fit into a "theory of everything"
They're trying to fill that gap in logic by claiming the cosmological constant is now "dark energy" which conveniently has no tangible proof or disproof (like god lol)
So really, we don't understand gravity. Only it's effects.
allegedly coinciding with mass/distance
even though the moon apparently affects the tides more than the sun
despite the sun being 3000 times as far away but 93 million times the size of the moon
you'd think that size > distance in terms of gravity as it'd project a larger field. But apparently the moons gravity > the earths gravity and centrifugal force as well as the sun's gravity and controls the tides

its not like there never was the flat earth model before the globe model...

>>
http://archive.4plebs.org/x/search/text/flat%20earth/
>>
>>18163150

Now you're arguing that the existence of a cover up affects us. I'm positing that the shape of the earth doesn't.

In your theory, the "people in charge" made a conscious decision to cover up the true nature of the world to prevent chaos.

If that's all true, I'm saying they made a massive mistake because folks would have just learned to live with it if they truth were immediately explained.

A massive break through discovery that reshaped our understanding of our world... but ultimately had no bearing on our daily lives, like the shape of our planet, should have just been explained to us.
>>
>>18163145
>Einstein couldn't even get gravity down

He understood gravity fine

>Used in the form of his universal field theory in the form of a cosmological constant.

No, Gravity and the cosmological constant are two completely different things.

And what the hell is Einstein's Universal Field Theory? I think you mean Unified Field Theory, but Einstein never had one.

>except the universe is expanding and therefore not infinite and not constant

You're demonstrating you have no understanding of what a physical constant is, and the use of 'constant' in the vernacular.

>the equation is unbalanced

Which equation?

>gravity cannot fit into the theory of everything

There is no field of everything.

Apparently you were watching the Discovery channel and heard Morgan Freeman or somebody talk about science, but didn't understand what they said.

Gravity and quantum theory does not currently work together. That does not mean that gravity is wrong.

>dark energy and the cosmological constant have no tangible proof

On the contrary. The cosmological constant and dark energy were both independently shown to be true from both a theoretical standpoint, and from observation, one confirming the other and vice versa. If you would like to debunk dark energy, it's going to take a large amount of work on your part, since you're going to have to explain a lot of observations.

>We don't understand gravity, just the effects

Gravity IS the effects

>allegedly coinciding with mass/distance

Demonstrably coinciding with mass and distance. It's directly observable.

>Even though the moon affects tides more than the sun

Do you have a better explanation as to why the moon, demonstrably, has a large effect on the tides than the moon?
>>
Do people actually take this seriously?
>>
>>18163145
continued:

>despite the sun being 3000 times as far away but 93 million times the size of the moon

Here you've gotten your basic facts wrong.

The Sun is 93 million miles away.

That's 372 times the distance to the moon.

And it's about 28 million times its mass.

You're also demonstrating an ignorance of what causes the tides.

The gravitational pull of the sun at the earth is indeed much stronger than the gravitational pull of the moon at the earth.

But it is not force alone that causes tides. Rather it is the change in force across the whole volume. The force of gravity of the sun on the near side of the earth vs. the far side of the earth is smaller than compared to the moon.

>you'd think that size > distance in terms of gravity as it'd project a larger field

When it comes to anything that projects a field, the strength of the force falls off with the square of the distance. As the sun is much further away, the diameter of the earth is much smaller in proportion, and so the loss in gravity is correspondingly less. I'm not sure you'll be able to understand this fairly simple concept.

>but apparently the moons gravity > the earth's gravity

What? No. Nobody says this. If the moon's gravity were stronger, it would be the earth circling the moon. The earth's gravity is much stronger. That's why tides only grow six, ten, twenty feet high, instead of flying off into space.

>and centrifugal force as well as the suns gravity that controls tides

I don't know why you think centrifugal force should have an effect on tides. As for the sun, it has a very dramatic effect on tides. It's not as strong as the moon's, but it's very much there and easily observed.

I'd suggest in the future you'd try to understand how science works before you try to debunk it.

No more so than the Earth being round. If the laws of physics permit it to continue to exist in that manner then they would have permitted it to come into existence in that manner by natural means. (Note: the laws of physics permit neither.)

The only dense thing here is you, you retarded motherfucker! Goddamn... Please.... PLEASE tell me how you explain the relevance of density without gravity? Without gravity, density, in respect to resting position, would have no effect whatsoever. And also, how the hell can the moon only be half lit, if it's lighting itself? How, while we only ever see one face of it, can you possibly think only parts of it light up at certain times in such a perfect pattern like that. Also, explain to me astrology. I'd love to hear why you think navigating a set of stars has changed so much throughout history, yet has always been accurate. And I don't mean for horoscopes or any of that shit. Purely navigational. Also, wtf is a shooting star then? What is this some giant projector image being controlled by the hollow earth people to keep us from looking below for answers? God you people are arrogant as fuck. To think that all that exists is us. To think that we are all that does and has ever mattered is us. Well I've got news for you, we're nothing special. You don't understand. I've been the guy to answer questions before. I just got fed up with it. I would be happy to convert a single person but for me personally the cost:reward ratio is too low. I would rather do other things. If you want to find someone to walk you through it with words on 4chan, you've got the wrong one. Sorry. There are other people. I'm only one person and this is how I live my life.

I AM able to explain. -I- won't because -I- don't want to. If you keep looking you would find -someone- who is able to explain and -someone- who wants to. I am not the one for you.

>keep refusing
You know anon is not the same person right. I haven't been in this thread long enough to -keep- refusing doing anything.

>>18165842
So I'm a cunt. You calling me that won't make me change how I interact with you. I'm more than okay with being a cunt.

The reason I don't explain anymore is because I've grown to disbelieve even people who seem to be asking questions because they want to know more because they want to believe. It's always one more issue with those people and you can only write so many dissertation length 4chan posts before you say "Fuck it, let someone else do the work now." I was being nice even showing up and posting the videos that gave me the information that let me explain is I actually want to.

That's a huge logical fallacy with you mainstream thinking types. The "If you could, you would [explain]" logical fallacy.

As if being able to do something means someone should jump when you say so and do their trick for you. You wouldn't go up to a gymnast and say "Do a double back handspring right now or you can't and you're a liar." Or you wouldn't go up to a mechanic and say "Tell me how to fix my car or you're a phony." The gymnast and the mechanic knows what they CAN do. They don't need you to believe them. It's down to if they WANT to do what they can do whether they will do that thing or not. That doesn't mean they can't.

Go be stupid.

The problem with your posts is that you don't explain what you're trying to say in your original post. He's doing exactly what you did by just posting an image and not explaining it.

I looked at your image and I agree that the illustration is pretty lacking.

You're attempting to say the sun/moon is *always* visible. Which may or may not be believed depending on which FE you talk to.

Assuming that your statement of the sun being always visible is true, you're also assuming that the direction of the sun's light is in all directions, which is something I don't think most FE will agree to.

You're also not considering another theory of FE in which the moon is a light source, counteracting that of the sun.

It's sad that I've had to bother explaining it to you when you could have just lurked to understand the different theories behind FE instead of trying to pidgeon hole all FE theory.

For example this guy >>18157777

Not to mention the optics lie

On a flat earth I could use my telescope to see London, if I went high enough I should be able to see the top of London from my position
How has /x/ fallen so far

Globes represent earth projections accurately, you're talking about applying a ball to a 2d plane which can't be done equally
>>
>>18167971
what i'm saying, is tha in theory what you say is correct. but the case may be it is the bigger lie of all times. of course they would be false evidences. i just want to expose some points that make me question if really is a very hidden secret that nobody want to know
>>
>>18167959
Im really not sure how thats supposed to contradict my point but it could kust be that you are agreeing with me i guess.
>>
>>18167984
Well fisrt off the person you are reponding two there isnt the same person you did before.

Second while i think its extremely important to search information that condridicts your beliefs in order to test them and have a firm understanding of your observations of the universe make sure that the sources you look into can reasonably confirm their beliefs. A good way to check if they can reasonably test a belief is to allow that belief to be found untrue based on contradictory evidence.

For example if you get a chance to go to space and see the earth from high above you will know.

all my life i had understanding about fisics, gravity, planets and solar system. the maps and satellites. the thing is, this Flat Earth thing would be something been hidden since heliocentric model. they would come with all the theories we know and make sense for us since we learn it to decieve us. it's not about the grade of education you have, it's about the grade of questioning you can get once you know the version that is aceptec by the academia, from the very pillars of it
>>
>>18168011
of course, you have a good point.
also, there are things, not about fisics, but about secret societies and elites, things that make it imposible for the normal people to rich this points without been part of their asociation. this and a lot of simbology, jokes on movies, tv series and song talk about this shit and i get the feeling that they know something and laught at the public.
i apreciate your maners by the way.

>>18168045
Well i try to be a clear thinking and respectable person and i hope that you can maintian that aswell. My biggest thing is what makes you think you are right? I can test the speed of light in my own home and then bounce a laser off of a mirror that we put on the moon and based on how long it takes the laser light to return i can tell you how far away from the moon we are. How do you refute that? This is something you could do youself infact. How do you deny things like this?
>>
>>18168071
This is not something that makes flat plane imposible. Just think it would have físcs too. The thing is it is planed to not contradict the things they teach. It could be some thing like matrix, like a part of the real world, I don't know. I take it on the social side and digging in this occult canals, you inevitably reach this point.
>>
>>18168017
well if round earth is a lie, they've certainly constructed a sound model to house it in

I mean, the round Earth model can easily answer all the questions that OP had.

You ask the same questions to flat Earthers and watch as they dance around the answer. I'm still not entirely sure what the Sun and the Moon are supposed to be in the flat earth model. A big burning ball of gas? a big cold space rock? How are they not getting constantly eroded by the atmosphere?
>>
>>18168092
So is literally every amateur and professional physicist in on the game?

If the speed of light were "jigged" to make the moon seem like it was 385000km away from the Earth instead of 3000, that would place the speed of light at about 0.007% what scientists are claiming it is.

Don't you think somebody would notice?
>>
>>18168092
that one thing may not put an end to the flat earth concept but it alone makes a significant portion of the explanations given by those who believe in a flat earth impossible and they would need to explain how that can be true and measurable while at the same time the earth can be flat. much more importantly than that though I need a reason to find the concept of a flat earth reasonable. why would a small segment of the population have spent 500+ years telling us that the earth is a globe and painstakingly fought all information that says anything contradictory? what do they have to gain? how do they go about extracting those gains? have their goals been the same for that whole time?

It's biblical shit. Notice how every time we learn the mechanics of the universe, it tends to point more to natural processes and away from God? That's actually Satan's work.

God desperately wants us to know that Earth is flat and that it rests at the center of the universe and that it was created before light entered the universe (not after). But apparently all the scientists outsmarted him, or he's powerless to stop them or something.
>>
>>18168135
grats youre on the right side. sadly but truly. hopefully next time we will get better candidates.

>>
>>18168130
this is why i talk about it. maybe we can know the answers some day. this is not something i like. i just see things are wicked, since then i try to comunicate this thougt, so maybe other people reach the answers.
>>
>>18168129
they are not in the game, they would be decieved as well. the thing is that the cience they know works to the level they reach.
>>
>>18168158
>they would be decieved as well
How? How do you trick somebody into thinking that the speed of light is actually 12,800% faster than you claim it is?

How do you control what millions of other people can observe independently? Is this explanation really less absurd than whatever caused you to believe in a flat earth?
>>
>>18168147
so you would like me to believe that satan is the one who has tried to fool everyone? does the bible directly or indirectly contradict a globe model? it reasonably fights a heliocentric model but even then you could say that is a matter of perspective and claim that the earth is in the center but the center moves in such a way to appear to orbit the sun.
>>
>>18168172
>does the bible directly or indirectly contradict a globe model?
yes
also there is no space

Earth is covered by the firmament, above which there is endless water.
>>
>>18168170
i never said the speed of light wasn´t the current norm.
tray to think of it like maybe the universe is not what we think. maybe this is some virtual reality in an infinite plane, like in the Matrix film. Of course i'm not thinkig about the same universe with a flat earth floating in space. this shit is at the level of metafisical posibilities
>>
>>18168184
also, thaks for the good debate. and sorry for my english, it's not my motherthonge
>>
>>18168184
>maybe this is some virtual reality in an infinite plane, like in the Matrix film
or maybe this is some virtual reality and we live on a globe in a finite and measurable universe, and everybody hasn't been conspiring to lie to us.

Whats the difference, really?

Please point it out then. also some people interpret the firmament to be a description of what out atmosphere is. the bible says "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters" many take that mean let the atmosphere divide earth and space.
>>
>>18168194
if you look for, you'll find things in youtube that reaches a point in withc some weird shit seems to be happening. the hole thing is, why would they lie about this, and then you find yourself questioning if really they want to take away the consciusness of the reality been some spiritual thing, so we fall in nihilism. the biblical side may be near the truth, but it is in ancient cultures. maybe for real we are something special and somebady want us to be all oblivious to take adventaje someway of our energy.
>>
>>18168184
youre basically saying that all of your sensory input could be deceived on an extremely personal level. It would have to be something huge along the lines of something like the Matrix movies where robots where able to create an entire reality that they could bend to their will but isnt it far more likely that things are in fact to a large extent as they seem? Occam's razor and all.

i really did make a lot of research. there is things that make me think nasa is bullshit. if they didn´t have errors, i would´t question. look yourself at all that. when you look at the evidences with clean eyes, it seems faked all the way.

i know that if i really make you curious, you are gonna hate me if things start to click for you. sorry if you get emotional damage. but i seriously think we should express it after we can not talk freely on internet

some things about NASA could be fake. I dont believe the earth is round because NASA told me to though so that does not really matter much. I think the earth is round based on experiments that I can personally perform that give me evidence that the earth is round and on my own experiences.

It literally does not matter if everything NASA has ever done has been faked I still have reasonable evidence to say that the earth or round.

i don't know if it is round, but for shure they hide something really big. i'm happy to see there are people like you than want to see what can get of this kinds of topics. maybe we are not doomed yet if this kind of reasoning gets to the next generations

The night mods keep 404ing flat earth threads on /pol/ even tho its a subject related to politics and one of the most politically incorrect subjects out there. I hate that this is one of the only boards that consistently allows this shit yet it's filled with roleplayers, pseudo scientists, and people who want to be fisted by non existent aliens.

I'm an amateur astronomer and nothing in space is a flat disc, or a dome shaped disc, or any of the nonsense
Why would Jupiter be round but nothing else? Our moon is round, even the sun rotates so you can't say it's flat

I'm not joking when I say this but the Earth is not flat. It's more of a ripple shape, bending right around the universe - the waters go on for eternity, the waters are the universe and above the waters is the heaven where the watchers are. I can't tell you how I know this but think of why the Coca-cola logo is a ripple. Pepsi logo too, Ying-yang. It's symbolism for a higher knowledge that is being hidden
