So I just finished reading this shit, and while it's mostly well-written, like many long creepypastas, it loses direction and starts crumbling and getting desperate as it nears the end. Also, the end was just frustrating as hell.

REAL SPOILER WARNING:

Like, okay, so I'm to believe that because this kid truly believed that [spoiler]the monster was part of him, that the monster believed it too and swapped places with the child, I guess not realizing that by pulling the child inside the wall (the "how"s of which go completely ignored by the author, who, up to this point, was looking into the reasons and explanations behind everything), it would end up killing the child because the child is not a shape-shifting monster that can squeeze itself inside/through walls.[/spoiler]

But then later, when [spoiler]the author's wife is revealed to have been "The Thing Called Joe" all along, ever since the author found "her" drunk and fucked-up looking in an alleyway one night, I'm supposed to believe that just prior to that, the monster pulled her into the wall, knowingly killing her, then taking her place? Who convinced the monster that it was her? The monster has no motivation to kill or pull people into walls, considering how its M.O is to make people feel as many negative emotions that it can so it can keep eating, which means that keeping its victims alive would be optimal. It has no reason to kill and replace people unless it believes that it is supposed to BE those people. The only reason I can think of is that the Author, when he first confronted "Joe" as the monster, may have truly believed that the monster was a shape-shifter that was known to pull people into walls, thus killing them and taking their place as an imposter and worst-feels-time-bomb. Then he called the monster out for what it did and what it was, which I guess would then make it become THAT kind of monster because he told it it was.[/spoiler]
