Is this the most /x/ show of all time?
nothing paranormal about tv shows except the ancient magick hypnosis techniques they use
>>18146419
No, that would be X-Files
No, but it's a damn fine /x/ show.
I hope the new season lives up to the hype.
>>18146419
REALLY WEIRD STUFF /x/
WEIRD STUFF
YOU GOTTA WATCH THIS /x/ ITS GOT SOME WEIRD STUFF.
>>18146440
Hey bb
Twin Peaks is so cozy... But I think X-files has it beat.
>most /x/ show
>anything but The X-Files
I haven't even seen beyond the first episode, but I've heard there's a demon. Is there anything else other than "lel quirky town"?
>>18146459
Its actually very thoughtful in exploring spiritual themes and mysticism.
the teenage drama seems to turn a lot of people off but the main murder case of laura palmer is incredibly good.
I will give you /x/ files for /x/ though, its also damn good.
>>18146459
It's a great show, with some lame filler, but you can say that about The X-Files too.
It's worth watching for a crossdressing David Duchovny alone.
twin peaks is far better than x-files (no offense), but x-files is clearly the most /x/ show
Has anyone heard of a show called night stalker?
I heard it was in the 70s, and x files was based off of it.
>>18146523
Yes, watched an episode of it after I was told about that show when the main character guest starred in a few X-Files episodes.
Does anyone else think that the alien myth-arc in X-Files is fairly mediocre but the monster of the week episodes are usually really good?
>>18146541
Lots of people say that, but the early Mytharc episodes were really good.
>>18146419
One show called "the outer limits" is something... Every episode has its own story. Its like reading a novel each episode. Heres the wiki to the episode lists. Pick one you like and find a stream
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Outer_Limits_(1995_TV_series)_episodes
>mfw OP didn't say The X-Files
>>18146614
This was a pretty good show.
>>18146616
Yeah, but it's been mentioned several times since then.
There is enough room in our black little hearts for Cooper and Mulder.
Romper Room. Kids' shows, I'm telling you. That's the age they can get to your midbrain. Once the pons is reprogrammed, you're on a leash for the rest of your life and you won't know it -- you'll think college and raising a family and voting and Netflix is the good and proper life. And no matter what arguments you hear you'll never be convinced otherwise, you just reject the truth automatically and subconsciously. Due to Romper Room and the cognitive portal daily exercise, disguised as a mirror frame.

I KNEW IT WAS A MAN!

>>18146748
Fuckin aye! This pic took me back... waaaay back!

>>18146919
She's not a man, just a hon.
But a cute hon.
Rod Serling says fuck you all.
>>18146936
Can't we all just get along?
>>18146459
"le quirky town"
>i can't enjoy some silly moments along with the scary ones
but anon, this is before yoour shitty shows, twin peaks is the godfather of the bullshit you watch on tv now
>>18147306
>calling The X-Files bullshit on /x/
Them's fightin' words, anon. I know you're mad at the youngfag, but you'd best watch yourself.
SPOILER
the ending really broke my heart, was david lynch really that mad? to fuck the best character like that?
>>18147313
Wait until we see season three. There may be hope yet.
...Or he may fuck with us some more.

>>18146523
You got the name PARTLY right.
>>18146541
I always thought the stand-alone episodes were much better.
>>18146748
hmm so a tv show ending in 1994 programmed me to slave away for Netflix, a service first introduced in 1997?
hmmmmm
>>18149228
Wasn't the original movie just called "Nightstalker"?
>>18146748
fun fact, my dad was on that show, pretty neat
I never got that much into the show, but the movie, damn, that was somethin else.
really scary, sad and weird stuff
https://youtu.be/Ti-tEBw1Cwg
>>18147310
the anon meant shit like stranger things probably
>>18147313
What you need to understand is that David Lynch is an asshole, as a person and as an artist
>>18151100
What did he do?
>>18149228
There's a visual homage to him in the better of the new X-Files episodes.

>>18146419
>Is this the most /x/ show of all time?
Nah, probably is pic related.
A bunch of kids in a "haunted" place seeing monsters in every corner, and trying to defeat them asking help of other kids.
Anyone remember So Weird?
I like to think that it was Mulder's little sister that was adopted by a different family.
>>18153317
Oh please. Even if you're going by kids' shows, Are You Afraid of the Dark or Goosebumps would probably have this beat.
>>18146419
Eerie Indiana is much more /x/ related
>>18153698
Are you afraid of the Dark >= Eerie Indiana > Goosebumps
Goosebumps was a quick cash grab made by canadians of all people, and the scariest movie they ever made had to plot of "Guy forgets to apologize, feels bad about it later"
>>18146419
no
>/x/
>>18155129
Check and mate.
>>18146444
the qt of qts
I don' t like Lars von Trier but Riget was a little bit creepy.
>>18146444
best grill
>>18146419
I finally watched this after seeing it on /x/ a lot. It wasn't as paranormal as I thought it was going to be. Just visions and dreams.
>>18146419
The most? No, that would be the Twilight Zone. The best? Arguably. While the X-files is near and dear to me, Twin Peaks is a masterpiece.
I'd also maybe toss Riget in there for top /x/ shows for based Lars.

You boys will go far in life.
>>18146444
Annie Blackburn best girl
>>18146419
Despite it being my favorite show. The X-Files is objectively more /x/. It just deals with more /x/ issues and /x/ literally took its name from the show.
Also despite liking Twin Peaks a lot it one could watch (at least the first season) from a non/x/ point of view and still like it.
>>18149228
It's a decient show too, in some ways it's even better than some of /x/-files.
The monsters and the weird shit in the show is extremely dated now and doesn't hold up and every episode follows the same exact story arch. That being said the characters are really entertaining to watch and have amazing chemistry.
>>18146614
The 90's Outer Limits is fucking GOAT
How about some lesser known /x/ series?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nd_CFD6W16Y&list=PLmyTh4PlACRuLjIp-_F6QVpsYUvUHm_6R
>War of the Worlds
>Spoopy aliums try to take over the earth by infiltrating human bodies, sequel to the 50's film.
>>18146459
My nigga
>>18157919
Carnivale is worth a watch too
>>18146419
Twilight zone.
True detective Season 1 has cosmic horror in it, i guess thats /x/
If you can't pick just one, mush two of them together.
>>18158511
X-Files wished it were Twin Peaks
>>18158590
No need to get all snobby, mister tripfag.
>>18146459
you know x files would not even dared to exist if twin peaks hadnt existed, right?
>>18158660
You do know other spooky shows existed before Twin Peaks, right?
You know you can like both, right?
You know you sound pretentious as hell when you say things like that, right?
