Post cursed/spooky paintings, sculpture, etc. add background if possible. Does not need to be paranormal, but bonus points if it is.
Pic related is "Women Laughing" by Francisco Goya from a series of murals he did in his home known as "The Black Paintings."
He painted them on his walls at the end of his life out of his own fear of madness. He never intended for them to be in the public eye, hence why he painted them on his walls, but after his death they were hacked off to be exhibited. They aren't paranormal, but are still pretty unnerving. I will post more.
I should note that the titles of the artwork by Goya in the Black Paintings series are not his own, but the names given to the pieces by art historians, since if he had titles, they are unknown. So be aware that when there are names that allude to a mythological figure, it is simply the art historian's personal interpretation, and I would suggest not letting that color your interpretation of the pieces.
Pic is "Saturn Eating his Son" from the same series

Interesting, thanks OP
"Man Proposes, God Disposes" by Edwin Landseer
Housed in the University of London, it is draped with the Union Jack during exams because of a legend that looking at the painting during an exam drove a student to commit suicide.

The Crying Boy generated an urban legend in the 1980s. The Sun newspaper actually organised burnings of the picture.

Bill Stoneham - "The Hands Resist Him"
(note: not a full image of the painting)
Infamously listed on ebay by a couple who reported that the subjects of the painting would move during the night and try to escape
Can't say this counts as "Art" but it is a cursed statue. Kind of funny, though.

"The Anguished Man", is a painting with an unknown history. It's supposedly haunted and its hauntings have been captured on video and posted to YouTube by the current owner of it. Apparently the artist who created it poured their own blood into the mix of paint whilst painting it shortly before committing suicide.
Abram Balashov -"Ivan The Terrible And His Son Ivan," 1885
When this painting was exhibited in 1913, A man viewing the piece began stabbing it and screaming, "stop the bloodshed! Stop the bloodshed!" before being dragged of to a mental institution. Pic related is the piece post-stabbing.
