Yes, though it can be very devastating to mental health.

Many psychic vampires are empathic. This is due to their need to take energy from outside sources. Quality of energy affects health. When vamping emotional energy, it can very easily affect the psi-vamps emotions and perceptions.

The easiest way to avoid this is with proper grounding and filtering of input energy. This can be done several ways, I often do it with multiple energetic constructs, but that's bc I disdain most "ritual" and "traditional" techniques due to their (usually overly) complicated nature.

WARNING, i just blare out my opinion here^^

Sure its not "their" Fault `cause "they" are mostly born like this or became otherwise affected, but those Mindpires are nothing but Parasites and should be deported to some offshore Island were they can deprive each other. Some Plaques can be cured but those just wont go away by themselfes^^
