I'm becoming more interested in Crowley's work. The problem is: I don't know where to start. So, what work of his is a good introduction to his beliefs?

Google. Start there.

Magick Without Tears, is one of his final and best works.
Magick in Theory and Practice, is his magnum opus.
Might even consider starting with his autobiography, The Confessions of Aleister Crowley.

I already bookmarked this folder, but thanks anyway.

They called him Crowley because birds liked to land on him
i dont like this faggot, basically you gotta be fucked and fuck around everybody then kill a child to get some superpowers, no fucking thanks, occult knowledge should be about reading and comprehending not living your life around only about drugs and sex

Allistar Crowley isn't occult
He spent his entire live evangelizing and sharing knowledge with everyone he met
That's literally the opposite of occult
>>18126833
Are you aware of him teaching of killing childs after he explained that magic is in your brain? Something doesnt really add up there, you gotta admit. I'd rather read Austin Osman Spare
>>18126838
When you obsessed with the search of dark arts you'll eventually end up as a mad hermit commiting sins that cannot be spoken of.
True darkness/wickedness is not meant for this world.
Tbh, I always found Crowley to be a bit of a spoiled litttle twit that mever grew the fuck up.

Better to kill the child than force him to live with shame and fear and the crippling feeling of inadequacy that results from violence

Also, this "famous" image is actually the face of a demon. Greys come from a cold dark place.

Darkness isnt about having sex, everyone had sex in ancient civilizations, I believe it is about perspective, will, and the growth of your intellect.
Think about it, to question what you believed in, especially about symbols itself, true magi or sages or elders with knowledge were respected about what they knew, not how many childs they killed to get superpowers or how many drugs they did. Sigil magick, the subconcious and comprehending philosphy of either ceremonial, chaos, or whatever magick you would want to apply in your life, meditation, and sex, but not meaningless sex, sex with intention.
Am i right or wrong? I believe if you go doing the "wickedness" you will go hollow and empty, contradicting the goal of the hidden knowledge.

Darkness?
Darkness is the absess of light
If you do terrible things to people they will hate you and your souls will be forever occluded from each other
You'll be a raving drunk, just like the man who came before you
Each time you pick up a goblet you'll remember how wretched he was
You'll never take even a sip of wine without thinking of him, and his failure

>So, what work of his is a good introduction to his beliefs?

Superstitious christist, superstitious christist everywhere.
Go back to your bulshit christism and UFO illuminati shit. Leave real esotericism for minimally capable people.
