If you're throwing extra points into the SPECIA then you should pull from from there and feed them into the L and see what happens.

I know it's a cliche but you really do have to make your own luck.

When I was growing up I always heard people say "knowing my luck." implying something bad has to happen to them. I started to think well all that luck has to go somewhere, so I must be lucky. From here it was simply how I choose to frame things. My cat died? It was lucky I even got share time with him.
My grade wasn't the good? What luck to be challenged in such a way, so that I can grow.
