Just ignore him, some people seem to confuse "physical" and "real"
I've had a tulpa for almost 2 years. Having been apart of several communities, I'd say make one for the sake of having a good friend, not because you're lonely. Tulpas aren't a substitution for social interaction or love interests, at least they shouldn't be. My tulpa is just simply my best bro. I have a normal social life, I have friends, a girlfriend, I play in a band, and he and I just love our lives together.
In short, I recommend it, I've had a great experience with it. But keep in mind, it is basically an imaginary friend that thinks and feels on its own, and with enough work you can see them, hear them, feel them, taste them, and smell them just like real people.
