I've never been able to get Ouija boards to work, so I'm not certain either how effective it really is. If the stories are true though you may accidentally contact someone else which is bad. You could attempt a seance if those are even credible, or look up some sort of ritual to call upon the specific person. If they're in your dreams though, it's already sort of like contacting them.

I'm the OP of the other ouija board thread up rn. My roommate is super into that stuff & she said they're primarily for talking to demons. Homemade ouijas also work best, as there is more of a personal connection to you through it. I've seen her use hers a few times & it's weird. Make sure you look up what to do in case you come in contact w/ something strong
