The circle with the red center and base is called Shen. It means eternity. Thats why they put it around their names. The huge crown on Osiris's head is called Atef. He is the god of death. A crown like that withoug the feathers on the side is called Hedjet and represents the ruler of upper Egypt.

If it's on walls it would usually mean it's on a shrine, monument, or tomb. Usually there'd be descriptions of who the tombs, monuments were for. Why they were important. The important things they did in life. The wars they fought. Who their families were. Who their various nobles were and what they did. Often they tried to connect important royals with dieties to make them more important, so a kind of religious propaganda. On temples a lot of it was more religious texts, myths, etc.

If the writing was on papyrus or scrolls, it would be less important. Religious text. Accounts and receipts of various day to day functions, sales, inventories, that sort of thing. Porn, of course. There's a famous old math textbook on papyrus scrolls. Had some early geometry on it. Including story problems that sound very much like the ones in modern math text books.

Ancient Egyptians were highly spiritually advanced people that finished their incarnation on Earth. That is why the entire culture is so focused on the afterlife.

They got to the point where they were literally able to choose when they would die. Those that decided to pass on to the next phase of their incarnation used the pyramids as a gateway to the next level of existence.

As the last of the Ancient Egyptians left, the surrounding people's moved in and adopted the religion and culture of the former. However, they were just regular people and couldn't ultimately understand. They are essentially the same people living there now still having to undergo generations of incarnation to progress.

That's why they were never able to reproduce pyramids like the former and didn't understand what they were really for. And the ancient mystery school of Egypt was lost.
