I could say there is a situation with a woman, a strong and down to the earth woman, that seems to be to uprooted into herself that is unable to open herself up. My advice to you would be anon is to not jump into this thinking it'll be alright.
The "problem" that I perceived is that you could be too enthusiastic starting, and thus get extremely bummed out when it doesn't work out immediately.

Don't we all? I'm turning 25 this November and I honestly felt like it was too late. I was supposed to move out this year, I nearly had my own place after being on a waiting list for 4(!) years!

From what I can read you feel defeated, did you recently lose anything, or maybe you didn't get into the college you wanted? Lose a job? I know these are all pretty much the same things but I'm sensing a strong feeling of defeat here.

The most important lesson to take from that is, trivial as it might be, to not take that loss as if that's going to determine your entire life. Pick yourself up. The most important thing for you to is to apply some structure to your life so that it no longer feels as if you're living in chaos. I rarely say this but try not to think too hard on it, cut the bullshit and set yourself straight. You're capable of it, you just need to be strict with yourself.

Problems will become easier to deal with, and you'll feel a lot of weight lifted off your shoulders. Sooner, rather than later. Just clear your head. (easier said than done, I know).

Things will get better for you, but once you've reached that security do not be scared to change. Keep changing, keep moving, keep wanting to improve yourself. The most important thing for you is to focus on you right now, I couldn't see any love (yet) in the recent future. Things will get better just keep those things in mind.
