I have two pathways in front of me.
What I would like to know is is it possible to be both an osmth templar AND a scottish rite freemason?
Any fellow travelers?

My father was a 32ยบ mason or something like that. He won't tell me anything about it though.
no, it's like in fallout. you must choose a faction.

Yea, of course. You can even be a Knight Templar under Grand Commandary (since you're American) with that newer group.

Well, I know the Templars are Paladins, but would a Freemason be akin to a Mage/Wizard?
I suppose it all depends on whether you want some healing skills and holy magic alongside combat affinity, or if you want to go for a powerful all-out magical offense with little in the way of defenses.
As for me, I'd go for wizard. I like playing the party healer, for sure, but there's just something about the prestige you get as a wizard. Comforts my fragile ego to have that aura of mystery.

This is everything wrong with the world. When nerds discover magic is real and give their lives away just to play the game.

Good Lord that is sad. And you might want to google what a Paladin actually was.
