Our family just moved, and in our house we moved into there are these crosses, on the middle of the upper part of doors, and maybe on walls(only wall I've found it on is the wall in my room, almost unnoticeable because the room is bight mint green, and the cross was in some sort of white powder.) I'd like to entertain the idea of it being something strange, and not some carpentry marking. Any idea what it is? I drew what they look like.
Too lazy to take an actual picture, eh?
The last tenant was just really religious and you're making a big deal out of nothing.

The light has to hit it just right to see it. That's what I figure, about the tenants. Like I said, I'd like to entertain the idea of it being something strange.
it's a carpentry marking.

If its in regular intervals, its most likely just markings for wall studs that the carpenters didnt clean up. If its on the lower half of walls, near the floor, and rather large, its marking the space for the electrician to install new outlets. If its on the middle of doors, there was a corresponding one on the stud the door is connected to in order to center the door properly.
Sorry for being a buzzkill, been working in carpentry for 4 years now and I felt an obligation to let you know your house ISNT possesed by evil spirits that can only be thwarted by littering crosses everywhere.

This, or for where to hang pictures.
>carpentry marking
>paranormal
Jesus Christ. If I found a cross on a Denmark flag, some paranoid /x/tard would think it's paranormal in origin as well.
