The Tsingy de Bemeraha stone forest in Madagascar is kinda strange. Giant stone needles that are surprisingly sharp, the same means "place where you can't walk barefoot" or something.

Mount Roraima, a massive plateau that shares a border with Venezuela, Guyana, and Brazil. It has several unique species of plants and animals, and it was once believed that there were strange creatures including dinosaurs that lived there. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Lost World" was largely based on Roraima.

Nahanni Valley in Canada has been known as the Valley of the Headless Man, since there have been multiple cases of people going missing there only for their headless corpses to be found later on. Some say it is home to bigfoots, lost goldmines, and even the entrance to the hollow earth.
>>
>>18060795
There was also a tribe called the Naha that lived there that completely disappeared sometime before the headless people being discovered (which started around 1909).

The Stanley Mickelsen Safeguard Complex. A missile defense station in North Dakota that was activated in 1975 and deactivated less than a year later due to realization that the emp from its own missiles would destroy its radar systems. The site is currently owned by the Hutterites (a religious group), although they haven't done much with it yet. It's known for how it eerily resembles the pyramid with an eye in it image.

Surely once the ABMs have detonated and caused the pulse, the continued functioning of the radar is pretty moot anyway.

>the government will never build a complex near you that will be decommissioned quickly that you can buy for pennies on the dollar after
>>
>>18063060
The point of the missile complex was that the missiles would shoot down any incoming enemy missiles, but it could only do it once because the range of the missiles wasn't far enough for the emp to not affect the complex's radar. Another reason why it was shut down was because of some kind of treaty with the USSR each of the countries could only build one complex of this type, and it wasn't it the best possible location. It's likely that the Mickelson complex was probably only a way to test anti-missile technology and it was never really meant to be used.

hint: they are located in the most earthquake-heavy area in the world. what a fucking coincidence.

when earth is shaken up for severals meters at once every few hundred years, some stone formations will break along seemingly perfectly straight lines. it's what some minerals do, fag.

count me impressed if you find such formations anywhere but in the direct vicinity of a dozen major tectonic rifts.
