Hi /x/ could anyone help direct me to some spells or meditation methods that'll help me maintain my focus while enduring bodily stress and also something to strengthen the link between my eyesight and intuition, especially periphery eyesight.
Enjoy your brain damage.

General meditation. When you can quiet your mind, and be able to be alert yet not try to mentally anticipate when the next punch will come you will be able to KNOW as soon as the punch is about to be coming.
Just meditate and still your mind. During boxing keep a still mind and don't try to anticipate anything just react, trust you instincts and train hard.

Meditation time!
>listen to your thoughts like you're listening to the radio
>relax
>if you catch yourself actively thinking temporarily use your breathing as a focus
>practice regularly 5-10 mins at a time 1-2 times a day
>continue until thoughts slow to a crawl and cease on their own
This basic foundation of practice will be all around beneficial for general mental and sensory health.

Remember to breath.
For real. All these wizards know so much, and they forget to breath.

Thanks this helps, I tend to anticipate the punch often.

I already do something like this with my AP preparation but I'll keep it in mind to slow my thoughts

Do you fight?
good advice, coming from a fighter.

I wouldn't recommend *actively* trying to slow or stop your thoughts, that will just put your attention on them and make them rise back up again. "Letting them go" would be more accurate.
I practice BJJ.
Good advice for me was to NOT get pumped up before a competition.
I used to get all pissed and angry and always had huge adrenaline dumps which destroyed my cardio
keep calm
at all times
