TL;DR is that the average IQ rises by 5-25 points every generation (~25 years) but they keep adjusting the standardized tests so that the average remains at 100.

Someone with an -average- IQ born 25 years ago would potentially have an IQ 52pts higher than Einstein's. Yet great efforts are happening to hide the fact people have a greater potential. As well as the education system constantly reduced in quality to allow for the lower end of the curve.

Unless someone is actively interested in learning, their true potential may never be known in our current system.
>>
Let me do some math here.

2016 years since the death of christ... divided by 25... is roughly 80... times the average of 5-25...

Yep, we've all got IQs over 1000 pts higher than Jesuspeople.

Hahaha. I like how you went there.

If the made up chart OP posted was real it could just as easily be showing that the groups with the most trolls has the lowest average IQ

They don't want to see you succeed. The people who do are often times hand-picked by the powers that be.

IQ tests are designed so that the average is at 100. As for the Flynn effect, that is a psychological principle that has been occurring for decades on end. Obviously, as our society further improves its educational and technological resources, people will, in turn, become smarter. The IQ test is essentially just a reference point, as to see whether you are above average (100) or below. If we never re-standardized the IQ test to make the base point back to 100, it would become incredibly skewed, and we wouldn't know what the average would be anymore, as it would be constantly changing as we further develop in our knowledge.
>>
>>18035510
Dunno man

last year I did the tests and everything and I'm around 132

But when I was 13 I really liked this board
Now I'm in my 20s but I rarely use any "high IQ" boards except /int/, /g/ and /lit/

Still, IQ is indeed simply "potential"; having high IQ doesn't mean you'll do anything decent in your life.
You don't need your potential to be officially recognized, because if you actually have it, you'll probably use it by yourself. There's still probably a fuckton of people, both aware and unaware of their above average IQ, that will never use it for anything useful
>>
>>18035510
>Pic is all claims and no actual study sourced
>blanket IQ for every board

I honestly doubt 4chan of all places would have an above average IQ for most boards.

"If you hail from a board under the weighted average, please refrain from making posts about the above topics entirely."
