Is there a term for these kind of images?
Huge sea creatures seen from a long distance away from them? That sort of thing.

How the hell did nordic monster slayers ever kill those things? Climb all over them and poke at it with a sword like some shit from Shadow of the Colossus?
>>18011196
Yes they had to find the glowing weak points.
>>18011196
I think the plan was to leave them alone.

I don't think there really is. Theres no real reason for there to be a name for them. They're not made or made famous by a certain artist, and they depict things so massive as to be undefinable to our minds.
Although, I guess they could be lovecraftian in nature?
Thalassophobia.
I don't know if it's just me but I think these pictures are much scarier when all you see is how small a city is compared to an eye, or something like that. Implied scale always freaks me out than a really pulled back picture.

Why wouldn't it be real mate
>>18017452
Oh I luv that guy, the best President England ever had.
>>18011196
Literally just shine a spotlight at them that's the plot of the entire movie.

how would that photo be there if it wasn't real, retard?

Artists paint images this way as a means to get the scale of the creature and humans (or whatevers in the shot) across. No real name or "genre" for it.
Some of it looks a tiny bit conceptual to me, maybe just search "sea monster concept art" or "lovecraft concept art". Not too sure what to tell you.
