George Harrison dream away. Pretty sure the lyrics are pagan magic similar to native American chants. Oh ry in ay ey is some kind of magical language. You can feel the power in those words.
Natural Snow Buildings. Most of their songs serve as nice background music.

Ok so this won't be a standard type of song for one of these threads - but for me personally, listening to music from deceased musicians is really creepy. Especially knowing her illness now and realizing that she just slowly physically deteriorated in front of her friends and family towards the end of her life. The fact that her music isn't overly "scary" just makes it all the more haunting, imho.
Check out the Todd Haynes movie, Superstar, if you're interested in her story. It only exists in bootleg version, so it's extra scary.

Nox Arcana is interesting
The whole OST to the movie 'Ravenous' is spokkerdookerydoo. Sets a nice background tone and since it's all instrumental it doesn't distract if you're reading spoopy-spaghetti. Try it, you might not think it's the best spooktunes, but it won't disappoint.

Replica by Oneohtrix Point Never is a great album to listen to while reading creepy shit, and it's just a great album in general. The first track alone immediately sends chills up my spine when I hear it.

Is it weird that I actually get this kind of eerie vibe from some of the later Beatles songs, especially some of the stuff on pic related? Like Magical Mystery Tour had a lot of editing and intentional, obvious surrealism so that the entire album had its own druggy atmosphere, but the White Album had enough normal songs mixed in with songs that aren't druggy or overtly surreal, but just kind of odd in their own ways.
Like obviously Revolution 9, because they were trying to be experimental, but there's just this indescribable, foreboding vibes coming from a lot of the songs. Like the outro of Bungalow Bill with the clapping and the garbled last words, or the random piano notes at the beginning of Don't Pass Me By, or even entire songs like Wild Honey Pie that serve no real purpose and are just there with this foreboding uncanniness.
Out of all of them though, my favorite is Glass Onion. It shifts keys so much and just has this really subtle uncanny-valley effect throughout the whole song until the very end where those distorted violins just fuck you up with no explanation. It's really weird but I just like it so much. It's like someone captured that moment where a dream turns into a nightmare and turned it into a song.
So yeah, this probably sounds like a faggy blog post, but does anyone else feel this way about these songs? ...Anyone know other songs like them, that are just borderline creepy in ways you can't put your finger on?

Good Night from white album seems very sinister to me just because of how out of place it is. It's so cheery and forcefully unassuming that I have to assume it's hiding something.

That "Can you take me back" and the end of "Cry baby cry" is really eerie.
Also, the lyrics of "A day in the life" always have had a similar effect to me, mainly because that bit about the car crash, and the final piano note that seems to go on forever
