I have had a lucid dream every night now for the past 32 days. They started to happen right around the time I settled in to my new house, too. I always start off that dreams knowing that I am dreaming, but cannot control them. Every time, I'm locked in an abandoned office building full of empty cubicles, and I've never set foot in an office building my entire life, if that matters at all. The last family (a Haitian family of five) that lived here moved because they thought something was in the house that meant them harm. Had crucifixes all over the walls and shit for protection.

Any of you guys ever heard of anything paranormal that causes lucid dreams like this? I live near, but not on, a Native American burial ground ;because Florida) in case there's any Native American folklore that explains something similar to this. Curious to hear you guy's responses.

Come on boys, want some insight here.

I'm on meds that give me vivid dreams. Most are lucid. There is no such thing as supernatural phenomena.

then explain you coming to a paranormal board to say this denying the fact that indeed are things happening outside of current knowledge of science.
its surreal.
Nah, i am kidding you are totally right everything that is observable is already known.

Do you understand what "supernatural" means?

For ANYTHING to happen it is a given that it is natural. Nothing is above the natural world if it's experienced or takes place, period.

Just because our puny understanding of the natural world isn't complete doesn't mean that things we don't understand are "beyond understanding", or somehow above the laws of the universe.

I never implicated that everything observable is already known; but since you insist, yes, everything that is observable CAN be known by virtue of it being observable. The point is, if something is SUPERnatural, then it is NOT observable, and thus has no bearing on reality, making it a non-concern.

The simpler an explanation is, the more accurate it is likely to be. Lucid dreaming, for instance, is a common and well documented phenomena. Instead of blaming it on some voodoo shit, when I noticed the frequency of my own lucid dreams increasing in correlation with an increasing dosage of a medicine that is well known to induce vivid dreams, I naturally jumped to the simplest conclusion, being that my medicine is causing them. That hypothesis requires the least extraneous explanation, unlike the "Indian Burial Ground" hypothesis, which would entail numerous other questions, such as to the existence and subsequent nature of spirits and their potential influence on the living, and the mechanisms used to do so.

It's called "Occam's Razor", and I would recommend that you read up on it. If you couldn't find your keys one day, would you assume that you simply misplaced them, or that some key-stealing-goblin took them to an outer plane? Exactly.

Also, I come to this board for the occasional chuckle, like the "Ancient Lobsters" thread, or creepy/crappypastas. This board is generally roleplay or fun shitposting, but this seemed like a genuine question, and seeing as I'm experiencing the same thing, I gave a concise, genuine response.

I'd buy a dream catcher.

Anyway, consider youself lucky, I'd kill to have lucid dreams every night. Just try to train to control them.
