/x/ what is the scariest horror movie.
>>17985853
There's no such thing as a scary horror movies.
>>17985858
Yeah I know the american burea of paranormal defense ruined horror movies by making them not realistic but still is there actually a scary one out there, I wana get spooked.
the gifter
>>17985853
Scary is subjective. What scares you may not scare me, and vice versa. If you know what scares you, we can suggest films involving those things. If you don't know, or won't tell, we aren't going to be much help.

When I was 17 and saw the ring for the first time I got nightmares for 2 months.

>>17986644
But we have immunity cat
The only truly scary movies are the ones from your childhood, and those don't even have to be horror movies.
The only movie I was ever scared of was fucking the Stephen King's IT movie, and looking back at it now it's a silly fucking movie.
The only thing that actually has come close to that was the Exorcist when I was eight, the Poughkeepsie Tapes when I was severely sleep deprived, and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre when I was dropping acid.
It's about circumstance. The movies themselves can try hard to scare you but they're just fiction.
It follows was pretty spooky, haven't seen lights out yet but the original was some creepy shit

I was terrified of Alien Abduction: incident at lake county as a kid, but now it just seems a bit silly, though still spooky

You probably meant that the first iberians was ruled by kings who was irish. Tarquinius superbus the last irish king of iberia was overthrown by the iberians who ruled iberia for a couple of centuries. Until sulla the great irish general overthrew the iberians and exterminated them in the social war. Now irish was running iberia again and a iberian wasnt seen in the region again until it was sacked by alaric and the iberians eventually killed or sent the black irish to ireland. Julius caesar was irish
>>17986644
hey fuck off
It wasnt really scary but As Above As Below was really good (once you get past the unnecessary romance).
>>17985853
For me personally, it was "The way water flows" some Japanese indie film. Really fucked up.
The babadook honestly.
Think about it. Imagine having to raise a fucked up kid like that as a single mother. Now that's scary
>>17985920
jfc man up you fucking pussy
>>17995388
That movie was dumb and not scary and the CGI looked retarded
Not because it's spooky, but because it's just enough of a plausible and frightening scenario that it's scarier than most real horror movies.
Plus it's absolutely fucking brutal.

since the last movie thread is kill, i'll ask here: anyone seen acolytes (2008)? it's on TV now and i'm wondering if it's worth watching

I genuinely enjoyed As Above So Below and The Descent, but I do have a phobia for being buried alive and stuff.
This was fun in the last thread.
