After a hard drive crash I have lost the extensive collection of creepy, atmospheric music that I had been piecing together and collecting from threads here over the past months.
Please help me get my collection back up to speed as I am making a series of short horror movies that the music is to be used with.

My favorite piece of creepy music has got to be Midnight Syndicate - Grisly Reminder.

Silent Hill soundtrack. I dare you.

Moon movie soundtrack. More lonely and isolated sound but I think it still fits. Also fits space and aliens and stuff.

Amnesia The Dark Descent game soundtrack. Honestly I didn't get more than 30 minutes into this game without having to stop and never play again, and nothing even ever appeared it was just that spookily ambient.

I haven't seen it in a looong time but it was scary to me back then. I might consider it more...."atmospheric" these days though. That soundtrack is from the game though this is the movie

Look at akira yamaokas silent hill ost
Here... a playlist I made a while back made up entirely of dark ritual ambient/noise music. It's old (I don't even remember if half the tracks are any good) but has some decent things in it if you're looking to build your collection...

Outlast's soundtrack is pretty good for just about any creepy atmosphere, at least the music that isn't from some kind of chase sequence.
I put some of the quieter, slower songs in a playlist to use as background music for Subnautica.

Chase Holfelder did an awesome cover of 'every breath you take' in minor. It's worth a listen

Steven Roden - Airria (Hanging Garden) Second Version
I always post this track, which I found in a similar thread on /x] years ago. Seriously, I can't believe it is almost never posted in these threads... by far some of the best /x] music I've ever heard. It isn't stupid or contrived or campy like half the shit that gets posted in these types of threads. This shit is god-tier.
