I have a story, short, but it has the benefit of being true, and happening last night.

Had a recurring nightmare when I was 16 about this old abandoned house I was urbexing with people who felt like friends but I never saw their faces.

Weird enough, it looked kinda like the old abandoned house in one of the sort of earlier Marble Hornets episodes, and my vision was in night vision as well.

Anyway, we explore the house, and at some point I always split away from the group, and a short time after that I hear a noise like somebody firing a shotgun right next to my ears and they're ringing so loudly I start to scream.

That's when I shine the flashlight on the adjacent wall and see the shadow of someone or something very big pressing their finger to their lips as if to say "shhh", then another boom noise and I wake up. No doors, but everything in that house felt super familiar.

I think good body horror is when it doesn't hurt, allowing you to fully concentrate on how WRONG it is for your joints to be getting all twisted or your fingers to be crumbling to dust or whatever it is that's happening.

Blood alone isn't really that horrifying because it isn't directly attached to any one thing in our perspective. I wouldn't consider it to be body horror unless it was like, boiling, incredibly thick (Like bleeding molasses or something, not flowing properly) or not flowing at all, whatever ties the horror aspect to the heart and circulatory system itself.

That's just my opinion, maybe profuse bleeding is body horror for most people, I wouldn't know.

I'm hoping one of you guys have a story I've been looking for. It starts with a guy and his friend going on a camping/hunting trip and the guy's friend goes into the woods at some point. Anon goes in to look for him but he sees a large shape the size of a horse or something. He runs back to camp and shortly after his friend rejoins him but he's acting weird and keeps trying to get him to come into the woods with him. It ends with the guy actually going back to town with anon and his friend continued to act weird and get their friends to come to the woods.

When I search for the themes in the story it often links to the one long post about the group of kids where there was "an extra person" at the party, but it definitely isn't that one.

Okay so this is a bit off topic, but I have hundreds of green text stories, however, they are on my desktop which is packed away (moving to Oregon). I started rewriting them so it wasn't green text, and recording a lot of them just for some of my friends. Would it be a bad idea to start a YouTube or another kind of way for other people to hear them, since a lot of them cannot be given credit to? I've been telling scary stories since I was a kid living in Hawaii, and have a few of my own stories to tell, but I figured I would check with the community before I even set anything up?
