my grandad was one. from what i gather it was a fancy boy's club but that being said i got a chance to see the lodge & it was pretty nuts. my grandma also receives financial aid from the masons since his death which allows her to live extremely comfortably & go on cruises & shit.

She was working and somebody walked in and straight up told her she had the right mindset to be a freemason, gave a card and invited her to come over when she wanted.

There are many kinds of Mason lodges, some more bigger and complex than others.
