If a being abducted and probed you, maybe inserted a device or crystal in your body or brain, this was likely your shamanic initiation. A book that helped me understand my own experiences of this nature was "Supernatural: meeting with the teachers of mankind" by a guy named Graham Hancock. He basically makes the argument that this has been going on for all time and your culture and what you can see without losing your mind shapes the aesthetic of the experience. When the beings came for me, my young mind was most comfortable with elves in jester outfits, but most modern people rationalize them as space aliens.

When I first saw one, it scared the living shit out of me, I could not shake this feeling of pure dread for a few minutes after it disappeared, the thing resembled an insectoid humanoid, taller than me.

I never saw it again, but I have seen strange lights in the sky doing impossible maneuvers, I don't know if they are monitoring me or if it is a coincidence, but this experience sure made me a believer in the paranormal.

Now, I can't say for certain it was an alien, my first guess was a shadow person or spirit, bt whatever it was the whole experience changed me deeply.

False. There's no reason to claim they wouldn't look similar - the shape we use and the intelligence that evolved with it, points that it is useful to have for higher intelligence. I think you know what I'm saying. Tool-making, structure building, communication using a written language becomes much easier.

This Has happened to me as well, very tall dark humanoid figure with head like a praying mantis walks out of a dark kitchen then stands over me while I'm laying on couch unable to move. I had other experiences but it all stopped when I hit 20. I seen a ufo on broad daylight followed by a black helicopter. And suffered paralysis followed by humming sound over house.

Thin, very big with long arms and even elongated hands
Pretty dark and, as you said, a triangular head with it´s eyes on the sides, but I wouldn´t describe the head as mantis-like, it more like a strange hammerhead mixed with an insect

That fucker looked like it was looking for something
It moved silently and as soon as it noticed me, it looked at me for about a second and just went out the room and disappeared

On another account, I was walking my dog in the evening. because it was winter it was already dark outside
I noticed a strange craft slowly hovering above the nearest small village at a height of about 200 meters max
it didn´t make any sound and had a red, pulsating light on it, similar to a Helicopter

It turned and flew in my direction
panicked and rand to the nearest farm and hid in front if their front door, in case it would turn to me again
Luckily it flew by

It was about 10 meters long and the light was in the front of the craft
Never ran as fast home ever again, my dog was apparently afraid too, most liekly because she sensed my fear

I wonder what it was to this day, i wasn´t alone while seeing the craft, a guy riding his bike was seeing it also, he came up to me to ask me if I knew what it was

Scary stuff I had other encounters but I would be completely paralyzed and would black out from fear, It would happen around 12 am faithfully. One time a purple light shined through my blinds and mved through my room it looked like it was searching for something, the purple light hit my computer and I was able to see the motherboard and circuits after that it was moving towards me I started sweating and freaking out I quickly kicked the light on and ran like a mad man through the house my parents investigated but found nothing. And also when I suffered paralysis whoever I dated experienced the same thing while laying in bed with me and we would hear the same humming noise.

I'm now 33 haven't experienced anything in years but I always check every room at night and always have this feeling of being watched a sense of dread. I have kids of my own and hope they don't go through that. It happened to my mom and dad as well from what they told me. When I watched the movie Dark Skies I had a really bad anxiety attack. Watch it to see if you get the same reaction. I think I have memories that I can't access but the entities in that movie remind me of something terrifying that I can't seem to remember.
