Let me start of by saying, I used to frequent /x/ many many years ago, and i've read my fair share of creepypastas and unsettling posts here. So naturally my first instinct was to come to you, where I know this will be seen and maybe i could gain some insight into what the fuck just happened.
So i got a message from my mom this morning, at about 7:30 when she woke up, saying that the last thing they had watched the night before was cartoon network and now it was stuck on this image. She said she immediately was unsettled and changed the channel after snapping the picture she sent to me. A couple hours later (about 11:45) she went into a completely different room and turned on the TV and Cartoon network was on that TV too. (not out of the ordinary because my younger sister watches cartoons all day because it's summer) and oddly enough, that TV was also stuck on this image. I honestly don't know what to think and i wouldn't come here if i thought there was another place i could find an explanation. My mother and boyfriend have made a couple posts about it on social media, but otherwise I couldn't think of anywhere else to post this. This is honestly really unsettling and even if it's some frozen image from an adult swim show, i would feel a lot more at ease knowing /something/.

Its also worth noting that the video doesn't move that much at some parts and that depending on how quickly she turned the tv off it might not have been stuck and it could have just been a still part.

Actually It's still kind of creepy becuase if I remember correctly all of memory hole is old 90's home movies that seem off putting and they just edit them but realistically shaving cream torture was probably just some avant garde art project

On occasion TV networks will freeze up

just inadvertently got stuck on that
I had an event at like 2:30AM once, was watching some ancient aliens thing, the screen froze and an EAS just lit the fucking thing up
complete with a frozen image of an ancient alien hieroglyph and the beeps of the EAS made me flip out
