I just need some information on Aleister Crowley. What books should I read by him that involve his teachings with magick? I've heard about him a LOT and have been wanting to read something by him for a long long time. I just haven't known where to start. If anyone can at least point me in the right direction with his books, that would be helpful
Magick without Tears
Or Liber Aba

Magick in Theory and Practice. It's part three of ABA. The rest is meh or misleading.
Liber Al Vel Legis

I...dunno anymore. The notes on the altar and temple wind up being stupendously important.
But generally, yeah.

No, this will only serve to confuse the new aspirant.
Serious consideration of L should probably only be given if you're considering deeper interface with the system, and in any case other Class A texts are worlds more important to the Work.
L's little more than a declaration of a new aeon. There's relatively little in L w/r/t the mechanics of ritual or magick.

Yeah, but we see the value in retrospect. Hard to see value for the beginner - aside from that nice little ten-point curriculum, of course.

Besides, fuck Billy Breeze. A Dover MTP can take you far, padawan. Trust in it you must.
