Old thread is ded: >>17823573

You know the drill, folks. This Dream Thread general is for discussion of:

>dreams and interpretation
>nightmares and creepy dreams
>sleep paralysis
>lucid dreaming
>precognitive dreams
>astral projection/OBE
>everything else dream related

Please post here, rather than making a new thread for your own stuff.

Before you post, some guidelines:

1. If you need help with any sort of dream, lucid, SP, recurring, etc, or even just remembering in general, the best advice anyone can give you is to start a dream journal.

2. Giving advice or analyzing someone else's dreams does not require any sort of authority. If you think you can do it, feel free to give some other people a response.

3. Even if you don't believe this is a paranormal topic, this keeps the influx of individual dream threads from piling up, reducing the clutter and helping people find what they want and get interpretations more easily.

Some websites to help you out:

Last note: We still could use some more dream interpreters. Don't be shy, just give it a shot if you think you know what another person's dream might mean. If you ask for an interpretation, try to return the favor and interpret someone else's dream.

Well here I go. A few weeks ago I had bought a very good sheet of acid. Not gonna bore you with my trips or anything. But a couple nights ago I had stupidly taken a few to many hits after a night of drinking and passed the fuck out. The following dream was the most disturbing experience I had ever had. I felt like my soul was forcibly ripped from my body and dragged down into hell. I started at the gates of limbo and slowly delved further down. I could go into detail but there wouldn't be any point. I witnessed the suffer of millions of souls as I traversed the nine rings. Boiled in blood, flesh being torn off, people being drawn and quartered, violent storms ripping people into shreds.. the list goes on. The whole thing lasted for what felt like years. Years watching them suffer. It felt real it looked real. It smelt real. I can still hear them screaming. During the last moments of this tribulation I came to be in front of satan. He looked at me and said something. Something that will haunt the rest of my life. I would tell you but, I don't want what he said to happen. Im crying again.

>be me maybe 3 or 4
>Start having recurring nightmare
Nightmare went like this
>Moment I went to sleep I would be running
>Usually running around a lone building in a dark universe
>Everything was purplish
>I would be running away from something akin to the beasts from where the wild things are
>Except no friendly face
>Just a big ass mouth with sharp teeth
>Dream always felt like I was in it for 20 years even when I woke up i was confused about what year it was
>Thats what my mom told me
Idk what it be
>>
Last night something happened to me for the very first time...At first I woke up at like 2 AM from an awful nightmare where a giant insect like creature was crushing me between its appendices, and it was so vivid that when I woke up the crushing sensation remained for 10 seconds or more...I also had a very weird feeling that something was really, really wrong, and I was too scared to change position because I was facing the wall and felt like if i turned the other way I would see something awful. I wasn't having a sleep paralysis cause i could move my legs and such. Then I slowly drifted back to sleep because I was really, really tired, but each time, when I was almost asleep and basically dreaming, my dream would automatically be something dreadful like some big creature eating me or some humanoid creature screaming like its vocal chords were made of metal and eating me and it woke me up...I thought about just waking up and watching a movie or something but i was literally too terrified to move. And this went on for quite a long time, then I realized that my last thoughts before falling into sleep would eventually emerge into my dream (or nightmare), so i started thinking about porn and such to turn my nightmares into a wet dream...But it didn't work. It always turned out that the girl I was fucking had no head or was screaming an inhuman scream or bit my dick off or something. I even started thinking something was there with me in the room because I perceived slight movement in the corner of my eyes...Then eventually I slept for good and woke up this morning...I really hope i won't live that experience again, I'm still shocked of how vivid it was.
>>
Had this dream once:

>I'm in the middle of a destroyed city
>a man and a girl come out of a van or something like that
>the girl runs towards me and hugs me
>I say something (I don't know what) and I wake up

This was not normal, for the next weeks I felt very depressed when I thought about it, and I mean very very depressed, and even now it makes me feel a bit sad when I think about it. The only thing I remember precisely is that the girl had red hair and the man was about 40-50.
>>
>>17874354
Had a similar experience, I remember I woke up at about 3 AM and I couldn't get back to sleep because everytime I tried, I felt something really wrong and like you that something was in my room. I remember a very strong pressure on my whole body and specially on my head. I'm not really a religious person but I started to pray. I was terrified and I think I even cried. Worse night of my life for sure
>>
>>17874398
Yes! I felt that pressure too! And I thought it was weird, because usually when people feel that pressure it's during a sleep paralysis and I was NOT having a sleep paralysis...Now that I remember, I rose and turned on the light...That's how I could finally sleep, because I slept with the lights on
>>

>"I'll do that, I'm in a dream after all!"

There are a couple of interesting dreams that i can remember.

>Be me
>Wake up, leave bed. Decide to go to the kitchen for some reason.
>Walking down the hall when notice a black figure sitting in one of the chairs of the kitchen table
>Realize that is grandpa, he seems wearing a black suit for some reason.
>Go on and enter the kitchen
>He starts talking to me and i talk back, but i dont understand anything of what we are saying.
>Remember that he is dead
>Ohshit.jpg
>Seems that he gets mad and suddenly something starts pulling me back to my room, like watching a video on reverse
>wake up

I told my mother about my mother about my dream, and she said that today was his death anniversary, which i did not know since he died when i was around five years old.

Does it mean anything?
>>
>be me driving my car
>a 87 iroc z28 camaro
>sorry but I love my car
>anyway im driving on a mountain pass
>the road is long thin and winding
>hair pin turns and the like
>its night time and raining so the road is treacherous
>fog descend after a bit
>I keep driving
>I pass by a car but no ones driving it
>keep driving
>the fog cuts back
>im at the entrance to the mountain pass
>I turn back and drive home
>I pass by the same car
>I can see someone in the seat now but I dont know who
What does it mean?

I dream every night. I usually don't post in these but fuck it I'm bored. Forgot the first half of the dream.
>on my way home, I have a friend in the dream who is a black guy who is clearly deformed and has a huge underbite
>we live in a rainforest/swamp for some reason
>get home, we live in a huge skyscraper that looks like it's made of junk or something
>our apartment is full of trash, look out windows - see what looks like New York except all buildings are on the verge of falling apart
>all buildings have people living in them but the buildings are poorly maintained
>hot grills in our house, I start fingering one of them and makes her cum and moan
>suddenly see how the swamp water starts to rise and how the grounds break, buildings start falling
>nigger friend opens a small hole in the wall where another nigger is
>the nig was a gang leader, I recognize him
>he has no body, only his head
>black friend says we kept him in there after killing him and he survived without a body
>the gang leader nig has accumulated tons of wisdom
>tells me the world is being destroyed
>I immediately panic as I see everything falling apart, go on roof to a boat that was for some reason up there
>he sort of accepts his death when the water bursts through the windows and kill him and the girls in our apartment
>become sort of like a warlord like Immortan Joe from Mad Max except the world is covered in water and we use boats instead of cars
>7/10 pretty comfy dream overall

I also have recurring violent dreams which are strangely satisfying and recently had a really depressing dream about killing my dog, I had to kill him brutality but he just kept on living which made me really sad I put him through so much pain without him dying.

Anyone know what this could mean?

Other ''dream'', although it was more like a feeling?

>Dream that i am in my bed
>Suddenly all my theet start to crack, rot and break.
>Feels awful
>Wake up

This dream is particularly creepy because in my culture (and other cultures) dreaming about shattering teeth is considered an omen to death for someone you know. Superstitious as i am, i told my family to be careful, drove work and got spookily surprised.

>Get at my job
>See boss leaving
>Ask him why? we are just opening
>He is going to visit a co-worker, his father died that night

I also have nightmares almost daily. Now i live alone and i can't confirm, but my brtoher, ody, always told me ''Yes, you screamed last night as well''. Literally 9 out of 10 nights. Anyway. Here is one of my 150 nightmares i still remember and wrote down.
>With ody on the bus
>There seems to be a driver but he isnt moving an inch
>We arrive
>It's dark outside but at the same time it feels like it's still day. Like a complete sun eclipse of some sort
>It's a forest with trees half-dead
>no leafs on them, but the ground is full. (of leafs)
>I was pretty sure ody got out of the bus as well. Turns out he didn't
>turn around to tell him to get off
>No bus, no street, nothing. Only an endless forest
>Walk for a solid hour. Only looking in one direction
>Havent seen or heard a single human or animal the whole time
>it got dark
>My field of view is around 5-10 meters
>Hear someone running. Footsteps, really fast ones coming towards my direction
>Think that it's someone who's jogging or something.
>The moment i turn around, the footsteps stop
>Weird out. But dont think much of it. "probably the wind and the tree branges"
forgot to mention that, during my one hour walk, there had been a steady wind blow, not strong, but it was there, and with it the noises it made in the forest
>ever since i heard the footsteps, the wind stopped blowing. Absolute silence from now on.
>Turn around looking for something
>anything
>nothing
>Start walking faster. Calling out names.
>I hear the same footsteps, this time to my left
>I stop and wait
>They come closer, 20 meters or so away
>The steps are steady now. No running or anything
>I decide to start running
>I come across something that looks like a crossroad
>From the left side of the road, the steps again
>I see a sillhouette of a "man" around 2.5meters high
>his arms were so long they touched the ground when it was walking
>It looked kinda like The Rake. Eyes had no puppils and it seemed to have no mouth

1/2
>>
>>17874883
>I just stop. And do nothing.
>It walks past by me. Completely ignoring me
>i watch as it crosses the crossroad from left to right.
>Its walk is hard to describe
>It's like there's no impact on each step
>Kinda like sailing?
>I stand there and make sure it's at least 100 meters away
>Start running straight ahead
>2 minutes later, another crossroad
>I pause and look for a sign to show me were the next town is
>The "steps" appear again.
>Again from the left side
>The same disgusting, disfigured creature again
>Walking by, in front of me, ignoring me, just passing me by
>I drop down, and sit there for at least half an hour
>I start walking again. Go straight ahead.
>Reminder that the complete silence was there. This "Void" sound you here when you are alone in some underground alley
>After a small amount of walking, yes, a crossroad, this time it seemed different. Mainly because the road was filled with blood-red leafs covering the streets.
>I decide to go back, every single cell in my body told me to start running back.
>i turn around, and i see some 10 meters away from me, Hands, Hands growing out of the ground and seeminlgy blocking my path
>I turn around again, only to hear the steps
>It comes again.
>20 meters away, 15 meters, 10, 5
>I looked at it as it passed by.....it looked back. Smiling.
>It continued walking. Disappearing in the distance
>I turn around once again
>The hands where gone
>With no thought behind my actions. At this point i wasnt sure about anything anymore. I followed the thing.
>Took the right turn and followed it at a save distance
>"I'm not the enemy. In This world, God is real."
>The voice could be heard straight from my brain
>It was soothing, hypnotizing.
>I continued to follow. Reaching an open field. A beautiful open field.
>"Turn back"
>The second i turn around, the field starts melting. The leafs become flesh and moanings of pain can be heard from behind my back
And then i woke up. Thanks for reading.

I speak from experience. Well it didn't happen to me, rather to a very close friend of mine. His grandmother died, i really liked her, she was a great person, and of course, he was devastaed for many months to come. Yet he never visited her grave. and he kept telling me that he is seeing her in her dreams, angry. He then visited her and the dreams stopped.
Same story basically. So yeah, subconsciously, he felt pretty bad for not visiting her. same as you, you probably knew it was that day, you heard it from somewhere but you forgot and blah blah subconsciously you knew/remembered etc.
So yeah. Go pay him a visit, doesnt mattter that this was years ago.

Until I had a cigarette craving, and almost involuntarily I threw the last of my energy in to a huge breath, which compressed me heart just enough to do like one pump, and suddenly my adrenal glands basically turned themselves inside out, flooding my system with adrenaline and kicking my heart back in to regular rhythm.

It was the best God damned cigarette I have ever had.

HOW TO HAVE ASTRAL PROJECTIONS ON COMMAND

WILD: Wake induced lucid dreams. Lucid dreams that you enter by maintaining your awareness as you fall asleep and enter a dream state. Basically watching the process of you falling asleep. Lucid dreams experienced from this state feel very close to reality, so much so that you may not even believe you are dreaming. This is my favorite way to induce a lucid dream, as it is an active approach.

To understand the process of a WILD, you must first understand how your
body falls asleep.

>REM Sleep
Your goal is to enter REM sleep from a wakeful state, while maintaining your consciousness [REM sleep is the sleep state where you experience vivid dreams]. Your body enters REM sleep during naps, and begin occurring on a steadily increasing cycles the longer you are asleep through out the night, as your most vivid dreams are experienced nearer to the morning.

>Wakeful state
You are awake, your thoughts are cohesive and follow a linear pattern. This is where you usually start the process of WILD.

>Entering REM aka the random ideas phase
You are slowly drifting away, and you are beginning to notice very random thoughts. These thoughts are very short and fleeting, and leave small impressions before they fade away, kind of like an impression into sand on a beach where the water washes it away momentarily. You can identify this state by how random the thoughts/images are. First the idea of a cow will pop into your head, then the next moment the thought of a plane pops into your head.

You must make sure that you do not entertain those thoughts, just simply observe them and let them wash away. Those thoughts are what I call dream artifacts, they are quite literally bits and bobs of a dream that are showing up. The reason you must not entertain those thoughts is because you will lose awareness of what you are doing (WILD), and the thought will slowly evolve into a dream where you will NOT be lucid in.

>Sleep Paralysis
If you are a "sufferer" of bouts of sleep paralysis when you wake up or as you're falling asleep, that means you are more prone to it and that you may have a natural talent for WILD.

Sleep paralysis may be quite terrifying the first times you experience it. It happens because as you fall asleep every night, your body needs to cut your brain off from your voluntary muscles so that you don't act out your dream. Sometimes this doesn't work in dogs and that's why when they sleep they'll start running in their place; they're dreaming of running. Once your body senses that you are unconscious and sleeping, it will start sleep paralysis. Your goal in WILD is to induce this state by "tricking" your body into thinking that you are unconscious and sleeping.

During sleep paralysis, you can not control any part of your body except your eyes. You can open your eyes and look at your room, but I do not recommend it as it will pull you away from the dream state and you might see some scary dream artifacts overlayed in your room. You may hear a loud buzzing noise, or auditory hallucinations.

>Lucid state
You enter this state when your "logic core" turns on and you are AWARE of the fact that you are dreaming; you are not in the real world. Usually, if you are lucid in a dream everything becomes a lot more vivid and pronounced. When you are lucid, the only limit is your imagination.

You can lose your lucid state quite easily, so it is very important to maintain the fact that you are dreaming to yourself. One great trick is to spin around in your place, or feel the ground. Any sensation you feel in the dream with your dream body will draw you into the dream.

>Astral Body vs Physical Body
A really important aspect to understand for WILD is the difference between your physical body and your astral body.

When you are awake, you are in your physical body. Your voluntary movements control your physical body that lives in the material world.

When you are in REM sleep, lucid or nonlucid, you are in your Astral body. This is your ethereal form, and it is a fluid body which you can change at will. Most of the time, your ethereal form will take the shape of how you view yourself.

When you are in Sleep Paralysis, you are in both your astral body and your physical body. You are connected to both. If you're practicing WILD, your goal is to shift your awareness from your physical body to your astral body. The trick here is that you can move your astral body with will, while that will not work on your physical body.

>Step by step process to Astral Project
>KEEP A DREAM JOURNAL
you need to practice your dream recall as this will improve the quality of your dreams
>Wake up after 3 || 5 || 7 hours of sleep, or go into 30 minute afternoon nap
These are usually the times where you are about to enter REM sleep. Look up the sleep cycle graphs for optimal timings
>go back to bed, with the intention of sleeping
>lay down on your back, and relax every muscle in your body
>visualize sinking into your pillow and bed
>fall sleep
Fall asleep? Aren't we trying to reach sleep paralysis? Well, aren't you trying to enter a dream? You see, no one can dream without sleeping. The difference here between simply going to bed and WILDing is that you're going to maintain awareness as you fall asleep.
>you will begin to experience dream artifacts as quick fleeting thoughts
>simply observe these thoughts as you feel your body drifting away

Now if you've done things correctly, two things may happen

>1) You pop into a dream during an "awareness dip"
It takes some serious dedication and will power to maintain your awareness throughout this, so a lot of the times you KO and simply enter a normal dream. This happens because of an awareness dip. You lose awareness momentarily, most likely because you chased a dream artifact and forgot what you were doing. During this moment of low awareness, the dream artifacts evolve into an all encompassing dream and you are suddenly in your astral body.

Do not lose hope! Every time you catch your awareness slipping, just bring yourself back to focusing on the task at hand. This is the same concept as meditation. This will train you to always bring yourself back to WILD, and this training will make you think about WILD after an awareness dip.. which may be well after you've entered a dream.

>holy shit dawg did that whale just fly over me
>wait wasn't I just trying to lucid dream
>holy shit I'm in a dream my nigga

>2) Sleep Paralysis
You feel a weight wash over you, as if a heavy blanket were laid atop of you. You begin to hear a noise. It's a quiet buzzing at first, but it may slowly evolve into a loud roaring noise, like your head was right next to an airplane engine.

You may experience auditory hallucinations, and if you open your eyes you may experience visual hallucinations.

Your goal is now to switch your awareness from your physical body to your astral body. I find the best way to do this is to will your body to float over your bed, or float under and through your bed. If you do it through under your bed, you will pop out and find yourself somewhere in the astral realm when you open your eyes. If you float above, you will be in an astral version of where you were sleeping. You can look back and see your own body.

Check your hands; if they're all fucked up, congrats! You are astral projecting.

If questions, ask. I'm lurking this thread

I've noticed that it's been a long time I had a full on nightmare. When im talking nightmare, I'm talking shit that makes me fucking scared in my own dream.
The closest things I've had as of late that I can remember that can be compared to nightmares are really more like screamers than legit scary shit, and I mean that in the most literal way possible.
Screaming has become very apparent in my "nightmares". Once I had a dream that I was in my house alone late night and watching TV and a black and white show about some kids playing came on and it reminded me of something from like the 60's or something and all I could hear come from the TV was loud screaming, like a group of people ripping their fucking vocal chords.
Another time I had a dream I was on a laptop and all that was on the desktop was a video about a business man sitting in a car that's in flames, however he himself was perfectly unharmed, before the video cuts off and the window closes and all I can see on the screen was a distorted mouth (kinda similar to pic related) and loud screaming.
Another time, just a month ago or so, I had a dream that I was talking to some dude in a hotel lobby, and the next thing I knew I was falling down in some sort of bright flashing black-and-white vortex and all I could hear was screaming.
Like I said all three of these dreams never really scared me, but rather surprised me and left me thinking "the fuck is this?"

I've been having variations of this dream for a few weeks now. Here goes:

I was lying on a pile of money on top of grand bed with silk sheets. I felt the thin polymer bills slicing my back, juxtaposed with the smooth silk. I was naked and angelic and I saw a bright light in a window. Everything was grey except the red silk duvet and window-hangings. I went outside with a bag overstuffed with money and I wore a suit with a thin red tie and everything was still grey. I went to a Mercedes-Benz dealership and the salesman had a cartoonish cowboy hat on and wouldn’t stop flashing me his silver teeth between big belly laughs. I bought a shiny black car and drove away. There was a screaming child inside of it and I gave it money to be quiet. The child was naked except for a red Yamaka. I drove hard down Portage
Ave. and the money flew out of the windows for hours. The child still screamed. I went inside a small basement bar, with a red neon sign that said “All Men Are Not Here; All Children Bask In Their Father’s Glory”. The bar was dark and the light bulbs were red except for one. Don Draper was standing under the yellow incandescent light and he was my Father and he screamed at me for being so stupid and he smoked five cigarettes at once. I lit one and it turned into ash. Don picked up the child from the floor and put a cigarette in its mouth. Don laughed a big belly laugh, like the slimy salesmen did before. Winona Ryder looked at me from across the bar and I showed her how I have her name tattooed on my left ass cheek. She pinched it. Don laughed and she laughed and I laughed, all from our guts. The bartender had no teeth and he grinned until his eyes fell out. The child screamed in a corner, facing the wall.

Why do people vividly remember some dreams and some dreams get completely forgotten the moment you wake up?

And it's not even a matter of remembering good dreams and shutting off bad ones. Other times I'll remember really mundane dreams so perfectly but they're boring, and other times I will distinctly remember that I had a very interesting dream, but completely forget what it's about.

I'm a big horror fan, and I don't scare easily. My nightmares are more ordinary.
Usually when I'm dating someone, I have nightmares of cheating on them. It's always a different situation, and a different woman. But I stop in the middle of what (who) I'm doing, and think of my girlfriend, and feel intense guilt. It's awful.

I don't know what this dream was....

>Be in School (Cross between my College, HS, and MS)
>Class is taught by my 5th grade teacher
>Be outside in middle of winter for class.
>Class involved learning how to clean a firearm
>I misplace my assigned firearm
>At end of that part, we go into a building for some odd critical thinking exercise
>It involved free food as payment (One guy received a Martini glass and plate of Olives)
>My right shoe begins coming apart.
>Somehow I pull the tongue out, and the shoe gets tighter
>So I take it off and ask a friend if they can find a new pair
>I have a major crush on that friend. We'll call her M
>M is unable to find a new pair, so we just go and sit down.
>We begin BS'ing about shit, and she asks what I thought about the Tattoo removal that she was undergoing
>We really begin hitting it off, I could feel something in the air
>She begins drawing on random papers and talking about shit
>Her friend, R, shows up, and asks to sign my cast (I was still wearing a heavy ass winter coat)
>I tell him I don't have a cast, and he leaves it.
>Does not talk to M or I for the duration of the dream
>Instead he begins talking to a girl from my HS, and starts hitting on her. (She is a cam whore now)

wtf is going on with me?
for weeks now i have these frequent, almost daily visions when i go to sleep.
i close my eyes and suddenly see things as if i was sleeping, but im not. im awake, my body is awake i can hear my room mates and my gf sleeping next to me. the visuals are sometimes clearer than in a dream, its almost like i had a TV screen on the back of my eye lids

most of the times these visions consist of me walking around unknown locations filled with people that i can talk to and sometimes i have the feeling that i see these visions for a purpose, but sometimes i make a mistake and i see only blackness in front of my eyes and the vision ends and i go to sleep normally.
sometimes i can now squeeze out a bit more but its mostly just a couple of seconds and consists mostly of sound

yesterday i kinda went in prepared, as i was mostly clueless before what to do with these visions and just trolled the people i met in there or tried to fuck the girls.
i did that yesterday too until i saw my friends in them and i had the feeling they didnt like me that much anymore because of my behaviour and my trying to tell them they were in a dream right now (they treated me like some maniac on LSD )
i asked them what year it was and they said its 2020
i just wanted to write that down.. i dont know what is happening.. after months of daily(!) lucid dreams and hallucinations they suddenly stopped alltogether when i asked a girl i met frequently in LD a certain question and now, months later i started to have these visions, sometimes they closed eye visuals are so heavy i have to snap out of it of fear.

no i dont do drugs anymore like i used to, maybe one in 2 months so i dont think its that

I had this dream last night where I was standing in my house with one of my familys now dead dogs(since 6 years or so) and then I saw a wolf a short distance from our house, not a black wolf, a normal nordic wolf.

Then it starts getting confusing, because first somehow I was not sure it was a wolf and then my dog was already there with it trying to play with it, and when I run out after her she is some how not there and the wolf is chasing me. I was not scared when it chased me, then as I was running the wolf was in front of me and we did a chicken race and I survived, and then my dog came to my rescue but was killed by the wolf. This made me cry and very sad, even several hours after waking, then a large black bird came(Crow, raven, only it was bigger than me) and killed the wolf.

What does it mean? It's been bothering me all day.
>>
Ok here I go. I dream of locations I have never been before or never saw before. I actually try hard to make a connection with places I see frequently or maybe those I caught on tv or any games. Nothing fits then

Now those locations are like normal places. In towns. Populated like you'd expect it. With persons I never saw before. They all have their own personality. Fully fleshed out. Some know me in the dreams. Many don't.

The world I am suddenly in feels real. Like it has a working ecosystem. Like it actually exists. And my dream self apparently knows the place. I know where to walk if I need something. I know names. I know the personality or history I had together with the persons I talk with.

Happens pretty often. Just yesterday I created a whole suburban area in a dream with a marketplace swarmed by tourists. Sometimes I doubt these are dreams

>Go to sleep and have a strange dream
>I'm in my parents bedroom at midnight and my
>parents are nowhere
>I get up from the bed and notice that at the
>foot of the bed a fucking sink is there
>>
>used to sleeping in the dark
>fall asleep
>while later hear what sounds like a bowling ball drop behind me
>wake up to sleep paralysis
>when it goes away turn on light, spooked
>been sleeping with light on for a while now, is it just in my heard?
>>
>>17880234
Does it happen a lot or was it a one-time thing?
>>
>I'm in a massive building
>Initially crowded and full of people
>At some point, we discover that t his place is infinite
>We need to forget this, so we turn the place into a 24/7 party
>Anytime we remember that it's endless, strange feats become possible (the one that I actually saw was something to do with moving things incredibly fast)
>However, in the infinite party, others start to interlope- the specific example I saw was a typical fat, SJW colored hair girl I know from school, who I had seen earlier that day.
>These interlopers cause the group to break up- since the building is infinite, people just run off to different floors.
>Me and some Japanese girl, we go off to solve some sort of problem. Can't remember what.
>We attempt to venture up a few levels, past decrepit destroyed escalators that were physically destroyed so we had to jump
>Once we get to about three floors up, a mysterious voice tells us something, can't remember what
>We're so scared, that we rush back down to the original floor
>The few people that remained on this floor have devolved into tribalism. They're huddled around a fire, clad like primitives. We fell at home among them, not enemies or strangers
>The voice says something else, the tribal people definitely hear it. Again, can't remember what, but it sounded joyful (but not benevolent), with a mention of something called "Jumpers"
>From the destroyed floor we came down from came a bunch of these let things
>They were very simple; little pods, with 4 flimsy plant strings as limbs
>Despite their legs being weak, they were very good at jumping. Jumping onto people all over the place, biting them. They seemed to only target men
>Several got on me, but I popped them. Off to the side, the japanese girl (and a bunch of other women, now at some massive stone counter) were frightened.

Cont.
>>
>>17881089
>I got that "can't open my eyes" feeling, and I ran around the circle of men who were being attacked. When I opened my eyes, the scene was shifted; we were in some sort of desert by a sea.
>The closest analogue I can draw is the desert in the original "Journey to the Center of the Earth". Pic related. Like one of the more desolate Canaries.
>I was conscious that I was under a roof of some sort, but it was still bright.
>to the left was a massive stone wall. Didn't look up to it to see if it ended. The position of the stone counter had shifted to it, with the jap girl sitting there.
>To the right was a series of bookshelves. Full of books, and felt carved directly from the desert sandstone (though simultaneously not, and I know that doesn't make sense). At the end of these book shelves (facing a sea) were counters with children seated.
>And yes, towards the very back, was a bright blue and green sea.
>The other men had been infected by the jumpers. The same kind of flimsy plant limbs had sprouted from their backs.
>They had their tribal weapons. They grasped me wit their tentacles, and were trying to kill me.
>I had on me a small ice-axe type thing. I started hacking away.
>The turning point came when a big black guy infected by these things, himself wielding a big axe, approached me. I managed to kill him, much to his shock. My internal dialogue said something about him thinking he would be the hero in his story, despite the fact that he was infected by these bug-things.
>Things were at the same time frenzied but in slow motion. I chopped down wave after wave of these former- tribesmen, chasing them as they desperately fought me. At some point I became conscious of the japanese girl telling me to protect her children or siblings or something who were with the kids. I did so.
>At some point in this rampage, I think I may have killed a normal human. Possibly a child. This was after the plant-men were largely dead, but I couldn't stop myself

>Their parents decide to take revenge by attempting to kill the kids linked to the Japanese girl. I defend them
>(Sidenote: One of the kids had some weird clay figure, sort of like a tiki, with a crown that was fort of like a straight lowercase n, or the pi symbol; to vertical lines with one horizontal connecting them on top. I had the distinct impression the child would die if this top line was broken.
>The children, angry at me, began chasing me. I was frightened, running from shelf to shelf in this outdoor/indoor library by the sea
>Everything still in slow motion
>Final shelf. Behind it, I can see some government G-Men. They feel malevolent, but I distinctly get the impression that once I get out of this row of shelfs, they're going to save me by pushing the bookshelf onto me.
>They don't.
>I stop, resigned to my fate.
>The kids start throwing stones and books at me- the G-Men, from off to the side (though emerged from behind the shelves) giving them books.
>They throw one book at me. The first book. I know what it is. I catch it, immediately flip it around. On its cover, it says "Project 51". I have the feeling it's conspiratorial in nature.
>As they pelt me, I point at the cover repeatedly, all in slow motion. I'm desperately, emotionlessly trying to impress on these children the importance of this book.
>I become conscious of a military base just across the sea.
>A space shuttle (there was a space shuttle on the cover of the book) flies very close overhead, crashes in the background.
>They keep pelting me
>I keep pointing at the book cover
And then I woke up. Forgot pic in the last post. Similar to the desert environment, but without all the sand and the hills.

>parents were gone, only other people in the house were grandparents and younger brothers
>I felt wrong, like I wasn't happy
>I open the fridge to eat something, barely anything
>I decide to head down into the basement
>It's dark and I can't see shit, but I make my way to three open doors
>on the left there was a bathroom with a flickering red light
>I decide I should head upstairs, but as I'm about to, this creepy ass grudge-esque chick appears
>I fucking suplex her, and run upstairs
>My grandparents and little brothers are eating food
>they all start choking and coughing
>I look into their bowls and its filled with maggot infested food

And then I woke up. Any ideas?

Not big into paranormal stuff, but been having weird dreams for weeks now never had owt like in my life. Dream starts out normal, just normal dream, then at some point this fucker in the drawin appears suddenly and everything get weird. Hes always talking some lamguage I don't understand and suddenly I'm a little kid in the bath at my old house and he's trying to drown me but he seems so calm and just a bit bored maybe but hes always pushing me under. It feels horrible and so real swear down. He doesn't always have a third eye that only appears when he gets my head under the water and he sort of dances towards me jerkin his arms about and stuff. I can't even sleep anymore he's always there now freaks me out. Any help would be hugely hugely appreciated cause I'm so burned out not slept in days sorry this is so long

some aliens invade Earth when we move into a new city, the aliens start taking people and they set up an encampment under a hatch in a bush, we find a place that is hidden deep within the mountains known as the heart of Earth also I have a pet dragon for some reason after training for a little while we decided to take on the aliens, while we hold them back my pet Dragon thing is told to attack the leader only known as king I don't know what happens after that I woke up. there was so much that happened before the heart of earth including someone's mom taking a picture of me flipping her off because I kicked her kids toy or something.

Also I never got a good look at them but they could transform into humans and when they turned back bones were cracking and their skin and muscle melted off like butter, it looked like they had a ribcage instead of a skull. Weird.

Are you entirely sure that it is always the same dream?

Anyway, do you sleep in the morning? like after you wake up just try to go to sleep again?

I wasn't a believer of the paranormal, until last Wednesday. I had just went through a bad (and forced) break up. I was desperate. I decided to go to this Chakra/Reiki/Yoga place. My friend convinces me to try Reiki with her. The instructor says that it's important to have an intent. My intent is healing, joy, and clarity. We close our eyes, sitting in chairs, our feet flat on the floor. When I receive the Reiki, I feel a light heartedness and a sense of peace. I see my ex smiling at me. I see bright flashes of green, fushia, and violet. I ask the instructor what she did to make me so happy. She asks me what I felt. I said joy, and she replied with, "Yes, I could see that. You see the world with joy." She then went on to talk about how I'm very creative. (This scared me the most, because I've been drawing since I was two and I consider myself to be an artist.) She said I'd be a healer some day. Later, on the car ride home, I finally mention the colors that I saw. I thought it was my aura or something. Mm friend said I saw the archangel Rapheal and the archangel Michael. My question is can everyone unlock these abilities?
>>
>>17886166
It's not exactly the same, only the bit with the creepy guy. Last night I was just walking around in a shopping centre before he appeared.

Sometimes I do, usually I sleep in pretty late cause I'm on my holidays.
>>
>>17886201
I'd unlock these abilities like the freezer in my garage with all the ice cream in it
>>
Can someone help me interpret my dream?
>>
>>17886227

>Sometimes I do

Well try doing it a bit more often. In the morning we are usually more ''awake'' when wee sleep, and we have more consciousness in our dreams (we also remember them more clearly).

You might get more insight if it happens in the morning.

>>17886201
How forced.

How desperate.

Eh I'm remembering weird shit today. So here is a recurring nightmare I had when I was a real little kid but always stuck in my mind. Sort of weird since most of the things in them I had no concept of because I remember describing them to my mom and her explaining what the fuck the actions were.

Started out the same way every time, little kid me and a small group of other kids I never recognized at the time. We're all stood in a clearing in what I can only call a warehouse/shipping place with wooden crates around and a large empty building with bright lights. All the kids aside from me were calm and we break out of the group, a few seconds later some brown ruffly bird like creature appears out of a box. Imagine big bird from sesame street without a long neck, beige-brown feathers, a sharp chicken like beak, black eyes, a comb like a chicken, and stubby legs, also a warped chicken crow for a voice. Once bird friend hits the scene the game begins with me freaking the fuck out and the other kids hiding behind and inside boxes with the bird grabbing them, dismembering, and eating them. I was never the last kid left, but I always saw a few get eaten before getting attacked and waking up. Most disturbing parts about this dream though was I had no idea what gore looked like yet when described my family was disturbed at how my dream portrayed it (Damn near perfectly), had never seen a warehouse like the dream, and didn't have any fear of birds or people in bird costumes.

So yeah, for about a year and a half I'd have that dream once or twice a month. Never could figure out why, but it has stayed firmly in my mind ever since.
>>
Thought I'd post here because I know some of you are interested. I'm not sure if this is the right thread but as we are talking about dreams why not.

I don't personally believe in any so called prophetic dreams. In fact I kind of hate the concept, and this has a lot to do with my family: especially both my mother and sister claim they have reoccurring prophetic dreams. Some of them have even been pretty disturbing, but the way they present the dreams makes me sort of cringe, as to me it always felt like somehow promoting yourself above others because you believe yourself to have some lame supernatural powers. So I'm the annoying guy in our family that always tries to explain the dreams as coincidences or as some tricks of psyche.

That said, some of them have been very interesting. Firstly, there's a story about my long dead grandmother, who used a night before boarding a train refused to enter the train without giving any real explanation than just a bad dream. Needless to say, the train in question got into an accident and there were multiple casualties. This story has been told by both my granddad and my father. My mother claims she used to have reoccurring dreams about her mother, who died shortly afterwards. The dreams included him driving a car with his father, constantly wondering why her mother wasn't in the car. Most disturbing of all is my sister, who admittedly claims all her dreams to be "prophetic" because idea of being some sort of witch must be appealing to a teenager. This one time there were news about a dismembered leg being found ashore of a lake, and my sister claims she saw a dream of detached legs before the night before.

I'll continue in next post.
>>
>>17887389
I've been trying to explain this shit with logic for ages now: for example with my mother, her mother (my grandmother) was diagnosed with cancer so the dreams she was having about the car trip might have been only caused by stress and premonition, which wouldn't imply anything supernatural.

I myself haven't had many experiences with dreams, though I usually remember most of my dreams, up to a point where one of my friends was sure I practice some sort of hypnotism or shit. I've never had anything as disturbing and only thing coming close to being "prophetic" I can remember was I used to dream about an exact conversation I had during the following day.

I just wanted to post this here in case anyone found it interesting.

When I was maybe 7 or 8, I had sleep paralysis. It was fucking terrifying. I say this old hag that was pitch black and had extremely long knife-like fingers. This is where I believe someone is messing with the collective minds of people,as I could remember memories during this dream.

Dream
>Being in a place that has a club
>Said club has 9(or 14) floors
>No windows,no elevators, you just "teleported" to the floor you wanted
>Each floor has the same door and surrounding
>Each floor usually had loads of people waiting to get in,except for the ones above where you could just enter
>Each floor, before entering, had to the left a hallway with dressed hookers and men waiting to fuck them(not in the open)
>Inside the club, there were people of all nationalities(mostly europeans) chatting, drinking, eating, or dancing
>The people were men or girls of all ethnicities
>Not each floor was as crowded as the first few floors of the club
>>Each floor had the same bartender,it was the same guy everywhere
>Bartender looks like this
pic related
>On his table,you had sweets,food,cupcakes,he served drinks
I got to talking to him
>This isn't an usual place, is it? "No it isn't,you're right."
>Where are we?Are we closer to you or closer to me ?
Now this is where I felt my mind and eyes weird
>"You will never find out ! "
I kept seeing his face distorted(like TV distortion),his eyes somewhat bigger.I end up waking up.

Fun story
During this dream,I convinged a guy he is not in love with a hooker and that this is just her job,she agreed.

>i hit him in the face, my hits are very weak but i dont stop. i scream "look at this guy, he is not respecting my privacy!"
>next thing i know i have engineers pliers and start hitting the boy with these, its much more effective. as he starts bleeding i stop.
>i am standing in front of a mirror, still have the pliers and i have hair growing out of the back of my tongue. i stretch out my tongue and start to eradicate the hair with the pliers, it feels very liberating and good.

>go about my day
>constantly thinking why she didnt go to work
>think how i wont disturb her and let her rest
>few hours pass and shes still asleep
>start getting concerned
>maybe shes dead or something
>in like 4pm i decide to check on her
>enter the room and theres no one there
>the fuck
>call out her name maybe shes in the house but i didnt hear her because i was doing something in the garden
>call her name again and no response
>call my moms phone and she doesnt aswer
>call dad and he answers and i ask him where mom is
>he tells me shes been with him the whole day
>tell him that someone slept in their bed and he tells me im bullshitting
>they get home and check their room
>mom said she pulled the blinds up and that the sheets were not that way when they left
>dad now asks if the doors were closed at all time and starts checking if something was stolen

A couple of dreams I can remember.
>about 7-9 years old, can't quite remember
>for some reason downstairs in my house in the middle of the night
>Can't remember why I'm down there
>Walk up to the glass sliding door to the extension that leads to the garden
>Turn around, tall pale bald man
>He grabs be by the throat
>I try to yell to wake my parents
>All that's coming out is whispers of the words I'm trying to say
>Tall man says something along the lines of "They can't hear youuuuu."
>Can't remember what happened next

Second dream (had a couple of similar dreams spaced out over a couple of years)

>About 10 -12
>Was pretty much addicted to playing video games at the time, was pretty much all I did at home.
>Have a dream where I'm sitting in my room, in my bed, playing a video game (not one that exists to my knowledge)
>All it involves is navigating a maze, all the colours are very faded, almost black and white but with a small sepia hue to them.
>As I play the game I slowly feel a sense of unease
>Look around my room
>It's pitch black, I can just feel that I'm the only one in the house
>Had a huge fear of being alone when I was that age
>could barely get to sleep most nights even with a full house
>Back to the dream
>Never had to spend a night alone, never experienced a house like this
>I try to turn my attention to the game to take my mind away from the empty house
>The longer I play the game the more and more this feeling of dread inside me builds
>Nothing in the game is inherently scary just the more I navigate, the worse I feel
>Feel all the unease and tension build towards some kind of horrible climax
>Run and jump off my bed and go downstairs as fast as I can
>Instinctively head for the living room to look for parents instead of going outside
>Empty besides a table lamp switched on next to the PC in the corner of the room
> Hide under the table in the lit corner
>Hear the front door slam open
>For some reason hear Nelson from the Simpsons of all people
>Hear him say "The hunt. Is on." from the episode where they're stranded on that island.
>Force myself awake

Pretty anticlimactic ending, but I had that dream a few times, Nelson did not reoccur however.
>>
The other morning while I was sleeping in I had a very weird dream. I was sucking on a nipple (??) and then I started staring at a sigil (I only know of them because of occasionally browsing x). Everything kinda faded to black and then a red demon with wings appeared. It looked like the statue of the demon from the exorcist. Its name flashed and it was something like 'pachazu'. I then asked Jesus for help and I instantly woke up from the dream.

Nothing has happened since. Was it just a bad dream or could it be something more? Pic related, looked identical to that but blood red (I saw this movie once 10 years ago)

So I've been recurring nightmare for as long as I can remember

>something/someone chasing down me/representation of me
>it's trying to kill me
>can never outrun the thing
>it always finds me if I hide
>cannot hurt it if I try to fight it
>as time goes on the thing gets closer to catching me/"me" in the dream

>See beast looking at my like he is sorry, and just dashes away where he came from.

>next morning
>go back with group, apparently nobody saw anything so don't bring it up.
>back at riverbed, shitload of trees fell down on the riverbed. like a hurricane came and just smashed a bunch of trees on the rocks.

i don't say i know what it means entirely, just that i know those types of dreams usually tend to be correlated with something in your life you wish to flee but can't. did something happen when you first got those nightmares, like a family member dying, parents getting divorced, etc?

>>
>>17892854
try asking your parents about it. anything actually traumatic is usually repressed, and besides, your memory as a child is grainy at best. it may very well be possible you didn't notice it as a child, but it subconsciously affected you.

>>17892867
Only thing odd I can think of (if true) is that my mom said she was abducted by aliens when preggers with me and they 'altered me' in utero.

the pad represents a way of thinking or series of ideas you have that you are fearfull of being ridiculed for by your peers.
a bathroom may represent a space where you can focus on your private matters (in this case, your ideas you didn't want anyone to see). someone walking into that space and trying to take your pad might mean you think someone may one day take advantage of being allowed in your personal space. the fight is representative of those ideas and your willingness to defend them, but it might also mean you are in conflict with yourself, and that there is a part in you which thinks those ideas/ that mindset is toxic to your development.
can;t really explain the usage of pliers, but the hair on the tongue is pretty clear.
it likely represents you focusing on a certain perspective/opinion/mindset , and you getting rid of the hair means you are adjusting your perspective and ambitions.

this is my first time interpreting something like this, so i hope it helps.
>>
>>17890943
you sucking on a nipple represents you going into or being in a state of dependency of something or someone.
the sigil can mean a lot of things, but viewing it as a simple symbol can indicate your confusion or ignorance of a certain situation or happening in your life.
similarly, seeing a demon can represent your ignorance of a certain situation but also certain negative traits of yourself. both you would rather not discuss or think about too much.
praying to Jesus for help represents your need for help to overcome your faults, and a willingness to better yourself.
>>
>>17892890
thank you so much! sounds really plausible!

Anyone ever tried calling on Jesus Christ during dreams before? I did recently when it was a dream about nukes being dropped and total catastrophe. A white door appeared in front of me suddenly and I called on Christ and when I entered it was total peace, with a fully furnished house with sunshine coming in through the windows. Totally transformed my dream. I told Christ in the dream this is good and lets end it on this note and I woke up immediately.

Amazing stuff.

My dreaming experience.
Dream takes place in post-apocalyptic wild west. I'm sort of cowboy, who meats a friend from past. He requests me to help a dying child in a wheelchair to bring a totem of peace to his hometown. The three of us start a travel whit hope of finding the perfect place for the totem. We start to climb a massive mountain and I being the good samaritan try to help the child, but he refuses and rolls up like on roller skates. At last we arrive to some sort of town, and I start to search for a place to hide my bag because I will need to carry the totem and I don't need the extra weight. While I search my companions start moving back and asks me to hurry. Out of desperation I try hiding my bag in giant corpse freezer which for some reason is standing in the middle of this town. At first it looks like a fine hiding place but soon I realize that freezers doors are broken. At this point I'm all alone in town. Feeling no need to hurry anymore I take a better look around. I notice a abandoned barn and decide to explore it. Inside the barn I found a perfect place to hide my stuff in stack of hay. As soon as I finished my business my eye's caught a silhouette of a girl standing in barns doorway. After I got closer to her and saw how she looked I got a feeling that I have seen her before. I remembered seeing her in a magazine, a girl in suggestive posse whit pink clothing and big puffy hair. Then, taking a better look I realize that it's just a little girl. Obviously she has seen the same magazine as I have and tried to recreate models look whit a torn piece of pink cloth and paper sheet folded in shape of hair. I ask her how old she is. She answer's whit smile that shes over ten. I see huge grin forming on my face.
>>
>>17893589
Then, vividly trough my eye's pases a scene of me making love whit her. As soon as that ends I find myself standing outside the barn. After a moment my friend is standing next to me and starts asking why I accepted his request if wasn't going to help. He explains that they waited for my return for more than two year in that time child's health has worsened. Child's barely alive and his body is reduced to head, spine and arms wrapped in skin. Whit this image in my head I can hear only my friends words WHY, WHY I DIDN'T HELP, WHAT WAS I DOING THOUS YEARS THAT WAS SO IMPORTANT. As I speechlessly stand There Whit thous questions in my head I start waking up.

It's quite detailed, so it might take a while to get a full interpretation. working on it though.
>>
>>17893589
ok, here's what i got.

To see ruins in your dream suggest that you are neglecting aspects of your life or that it is falling apart. You feel you are self-destructing. It is time to get on the right path.
I’ll split this into a few segments as it’s quite a lot.
The post-apocalyptic setting might mean you are neglecting aspects of your life or that you feel your life is falling apart in certain areas. The Wild West setting might be nothing, but it could also mean your ability to go on with your life even with the above stated problems, aka you overcoming whatever you feel is not going right.
Being a coyboy symbolizes toughness/rigidness and being in control of your animalistic side. Meeting an old friend might represents your desire to reconnect with a part of yourself you lost touch with. That might mean anything, really: certain ways of looking at the world, hobbies but even literally connecting with old friends. Meeting a child that is dying may represent losing/forgetting your childhood, but it can also mean you losing hope. Him carrying an item related to peace is representing a piece of yourself that you hold very dear (from your childhood). Don’t know if you meant a totem like an actual totem pole. If so: a totem pole represents your need to feel protected. It symbolizes power and respect.
Hiding something worth something to you suggests that you want to keep certain aspects of your life or ideas (given/shared by someone dear to you) a secret to others. You putting them in a freezer can represent your desire to preserve these ideas, that it’s a corpse freezer suggests you are either preserving other ideas/mindsets that you know can’t work or willing to do almost anything to preserve this specific aspect or idea. Not taking that totem into the freezer is a bit of a riddle, can’t find much about this.

Will do the rest in 15-30 mins. Pretty new to this and it’s a lot to analyse.

i've noticed that as of late i've been having dreams about chirsmtas
last night i had a dream where i was home alone with my mom and we had the tree set up and everything and some guys came knocking on our door (which was weird since it was like midnight) and the next thing i knew they were staring through our windows at us, came charging in, and threatened to stab us if we didn't give them money. I remember that morning the whole family was in shambles and I felt like shit because I didn't do anything to get them to back off, like attempting to fight them or something
>>
>>17893722
ok, continuing.

you choosing to instead hide it in another, better, place suggests that you have found another way of looking at this idea/mindset while still keeping it safe from others.

the little girl represents innocence or the child within yourself. you sexualising/fucking her might mean you lost your innocence/inner child in the face of sexual desire, but it may also represent your desire to reconnect with your childhood.
you letting down your friend suggests you want to succeed in your current endeavor to the point that you don't see failure as an option. it could also mean fear of facing consequences of your own decisions.
the child dying is the same as before. you seeing how he is almost dead might represent the final realization that your childhood is over, and you can't regain it. your friend's outburst represents your own fear of not being able to correct this. but it might also represent your fear of not being able to correct your mistakes.

No, i don't think it's curved anywhere, but then again i might not recall well because it's only appearing in my dreams, so it's hard to get a sharp picture since, just like dreams, it's always a little blurry. Will appreciate any info.

I know it's weird as fuck but i keep dreaming of some girls that i've never seen before and i have this recurring thing in my dreams where I am somewhere for example my house but when I go out I'm somewhere else

There's times when I have a nightmare but I can always like pause the dream and wake up it's like when i'm having a nightmare I know that it's a dream. Does that mean that it's a lucid dream ?Also almost never can I run in my dreams it's always like a stumble and fall when trying to run

I took a nap today. A kinda restless late afternoon nap. Anyways, I woke up to roll over and saw something near my door. I ignored it because I'm busy, fuck you spoop. Proceeded to fall back asleep as is procedure. Something talked directly into my brain. "WAKE UP, IT'S WATCHING FROM THE DOOR." To which I immediately spaz awake with a serious fear in me. Not sure if bizarre psuedo-sleep paralysis or what.
>>
All of my dreams have the same general vibe: I'm trapped somewhere, i gotta run from something, my body moves super slowly, people who i know irl are around me and i beg them for help and they refuse me/cant help

sometimes i have to escape a building before it collapses, or other times im in my childhood home trying to hide from some kind of monster, sometimes i've been kidnapped or am being held hostage. its really stressful and i have these basically every night. i think i understand what they symbolize, but i have no idea how to apply that symbolism to my life so these dreams can stop

my dream started with me in a huge ass library place is like unreal how big it and there was fog in it that made it seem even larger. Then as i walking through it it got even more crazy there were portal from other worlds all sorts of beings i had never even seen all not hostile and actually it seemed like a metropolis for learning, then i walked through a staircase of books into what appeared to be some sort of bizarre for these beings that were very haggling and were selling and buying not objects, but knowledge that was held in what looked like bright glowing beads and marbles of all sorts of colors. Then as i was going through stores looking i saw a man in quite astounding brightly colored orange clothing almost like a tibetan monk with beads that were glowing blue i was going to steal them but i knew it would be wrong he glared at me but then bowed and gave me a small wooden one that wasn’t glowing at all to be honest to me just seemed like something you'd find in a fancy woodshop and all of a sudden all the beings in the city were gathering around a gigantic wooden door what seemed to be 15 stories tall. Everybody was loud and talking in all sorts of languages. The doors slowly creaked open and to what was the most amazing thing id ever seen A huge seaport with white marlestone as everything was carved out from and to the bluest most bright ocean with a gargantuan sized sail ship at the port, i walked through and in my dream i could actually smell the sea breeze and cool wind hitting my face and i saw people crowding around one area specifically they were all yelling and asking something and i just was attracted to it, when everybody left going towards the ship saw a person sitting in a gray old ragged cloak.

i just had a feeling i knew who it was and i walked up to them and i wont forget the words i said “i know ive been a horrible person ive done so many bad things in my life and i can’t make up for it will i even make it?” and then i heard an elderly voice coming from him saying “dont worry youll make it look” and he lifted his hand and it was very old looking and shaking but he pointed i turned around and saw a giant unbelievably bright pillar of blue light with birds flying around it, keep in mind this was in the distance atleast half a mile and still the pillar was quite large and the birds looked like small dots, i was astounded by the beauty at what i saw and i started crying from it and it faded away into a bright light and i woke up smiling with tears running down my face to this day ive been a changed man from that experience

Right, this is a bit of an older one (approximately two years) and also kind of weird, but I feel it might be interesting to you guys.

So, I woke up at night experiencing sleep paralyses. Obviously not very pleasant, so I decided to just try and ignore it and go back to sleep. I'm there, right on the verge of drifting back off, when it hits me. I can barely call it a dream, it flashed in my mind for an instant, less than a second, and then went away. A single image (pic related.) I'm not sure how much of this is exactly what I saw, and how much I ended up making afterwards, but I'll try and write down the details I'm relatively sure on.

> Some sort of yellow/orange pyramid structure. In that typical dream fashion I had the sense of viewing it from multiple angles at once. One just had it as a flat triangle from head on, another was a 3D shape with my view position down by the lower right corner.
> Red lightning, red lightning everywhere.
> The impression of strong wind, like a desert dust storm. Red wind, too.
> No green colors, everything was some shade of red, yellow, orange, or very dark purple/blue. Mostly red.
> Worth mentioning that I can't remember whether there was an eye at the top. I'm leaning towards "No", to be honest.
> It was almost like a painting, rather than a real scene I was experiencing. I didn't get the feeling I was actually there. I didn't get any feeling of movement despite the wind and lightning.

After I saw this, I was no longer paralyzed. My immediate reaction was to turn on the light and basically go "What the fuck was *that?*"

Anyway, that was my small and hopefully interesting experience. How much of it happened at the time and how much of it my brain has made up afterwards I have no fucking clue, but the core facts are true. Yellow triangle, red lightning, red wind.

i had a dream just now where we found pieces of human skin inside a black cage, hands feet and a face.

we lay it in a circle like some sort of ritual. we created a living person from the parts.

it was a girl, that later committed suicide when she found out how she came to existence.

i scream out in distress, even though i had only known her for a second, and then i am running between houses trying to run from creatures hunting me down, they are fast and agile but i dont know what they look like.

Ok so back when i was 8 i actually made my own doll, nothing much but still kept it around depsite it being kinda creepy(imagine what kind of doll can 8-years old without any experience make).
>Be asleep
>Pretty much normal random dream
>Suddenly i'm in my room
>In my bed
>Before i manage to get up someone yells my name
>I don't recognize this guy but he seems to know who i am
>He tells me he is this doll i made when i was 8
>This would explain why is he wearing a dress but why the hell is he a male while the doll was clearly a female
>He just keeps on babbling about nothing
>Then he says something "You know you could find me, it gets quite lonely out there all by myself."
>He continues being loud and annoying
>Literally relieved to actually wake up
>Unable think about anything else than the doll until i found it on the attic
This was seriously creepy though. Felt like my life depended on finding this doll. Idk what to do with it now that i found it.

Any tips for sleeping on my back? I'm conditioned to sleep on my side which I'm pretty sure is fucking up my shoulder posture and making it impossible to lucid dream. I've laid on my back for hours and I just can't fall asleep. I don't use a pillow on my head, but I have one under my calves/knees.
>>
I've seen plenty of sleep paralysis threads in the past, where people told stories of their experiences.

For instance, my past experience:
>Be deployed
>wake up in the middle of the night
>can't move my body, heavy weight on me
>knew right away what it was
>didn't panic, as I knew it would dissipate
>just took in the experience, and realized how one could perceive it, had they not heard of sleep paralysis before
>neat

However, I haven't heard much about the cause of it.
I've since then had experiences that warrant documenting.

>assume he is going to the bathroom as well
>impressed at myself for how well I can see with my eyes barely open

>and I see the shape of the glowing white bed below, with a shadow of myself laying in it.
>I recognize that this is an astral projection, as I was very lucid, and but a few moments ago, my eyes were open

>do my best to ignore thd creeks and my imagination
>from the silence, I hear a noise next to my head
>heavy, sliding on the bed
>this one is fucking real
>each passing millisecond confirms it
>turn to it, try to scream and punch at it
>paralyzed
>my jaw moves wildly, trying to annunciate words, but only releases that gutteral gasping snore
>think that any moment, it will releaase me, and I will snap back into my offensive posture
>must have been 10 full seconds, which felt like much longer

the body parts in the cage can mean a lot. first off, the cage represents inhibition and restrictiveness. body parts also have meaning: skin- protection/shielding of inner self, feet- mobility and freedom, hands- communication and emotion, face- self image, expression of identity.
my take from it is that you or the situation around you is inhibiting/restricting these certain aspects of yourself. you wish to act on/strengthen/regain these, as suggested by you trying to living person from them. that it's a girl may represent your playful or emotional nature. It may also represent the inner self in this case.
that you lost her through the way you did is also up for some guesswork. it may represent your fear of losing those parts of yourself, it may also represent that your current actions will not help the regain of those parts. it could also mean that some people will have a strong influence over you regarding this problem.

lastly, being hunted down by unknown beings.
it can mean you are trying run away from representations of negative emotions or parts of yourself you would wish could change. it can also mean that you are avoiding problems you have currently, ones you should confront instead.

Ok so ive been having similar dreams for the past two weeks.

I dream that I am trapped inside my own body, my chest to be exact, and I can't fucking breathe. So I break my way out of my own chest. The me that Im breaking my way out of screams in agony the entire time, until i finally rip my way out of my own chest. As I slowly crawl out of my chest I can hear myself crying, constantly saying
"No! Dont go!"
I finally get all the way out and stare down at my own lifeless body. I walk down stairs to the bathroom and look in the mirror. What I see is me. But i have massive curved horns, my skin is a red hued blackish color. My teeth are sharp and jagged. And my eyes are gold instead of blue, with my pupils are shinning silver. I always laugh at myself, and then crawl through the mirror. On the other side I find myself in what I presume is the land of the dead. Everything is dark and decrepided. The people there are walking corpses shakled and chained together. They all have a sign around around their necks with their greatest sin carved into the sign. As I walk by them they bow to me. putting their own faces in the searing hot dirt. Im constantly looking for my grandpa who died recently, but no matter how hard I search I can never find him. But I find others there. My living friends and family tied to post being whipped and flayed by six legged monsters with bisecting arms. Every one of these monsters has a shield with a 2 stamped in the center of it branded on their backs. I have a tattoo of that on my right arm. I walk up to a massive temple with a throne on top of it. I sit on the throne and smile. And then the dream ends
>>
>>17895773
ok, in advance sorry for the late reply, i had to do a short errand that came up.

as for your dream, pretty neat stuff actually.

being trapped usually means your behavior, mindset or certain ideas you currently have are being inhibited by whatever the 'cage' represents. in this case, the chest, which represents storage of emotion and feelings. the 'you' bursting out of the chest might represent old emotions or emotional experiences which are resurfacing
a demon usually represents either sinful urges or guilt about something. this could be literally anything you feel is a sin or something which you are ashamed of, it's very subjective.
seeing/causing your own death can be viewed as both negative as positive.
negatively, this might symbolize involvement with unhealthy/bad behaviors or negative emotions causing harm to yourself. it might also suggest a desperate desire to escape from/get out of obligations, responsibilities or even the way how you perceive yourself.
positively, it can mean a transformation or self discovery. the proverbial shedding your skin type of thing. this is related to things like moving into the future, leaving the past behind and the ending of old ways and habits.

what you see through the mirror can represent how you see yourself as or is related to your character/persona. it's also considered a link between the conscious and the unconcious.

what comes next is a representation of hell, which suggest sin, guilt, bad, etc. it could indicate feelings of guilt, inner fear or repressed negative feelings. Your dream seemingly focuses on sin, so take from that what you want.
being a ruler of hell is just more of the above: feelings of guilt, but also a negative change in your life.
looking for people who died recently, in this case your grandfather, suggest a close relationship with him, and/or a desire to come to terms with certain feelings related to him, bad or good.
continuing..
>>
>>17895867
seeing people you know well getting tortured can mean quite some things.
firstly, it may mean you harbor resentment or anger towards them. It can also mean you are not acknowledging your guilt or negative emotions, choosing to project it to people close to you in your dream.
lastly, it could represent your fear of the ones close to you to be dragged into the problems you are having.
dreaming of a throne can be viewed as having high ambitions and a desire for power and prosperity. these things tend to only be entirely known by close friends and relatives.
to sit on it could be part of the throne interpretation, but it might also mean you value authority and have a desire to have authority over others. this isn't bad per se: it could mean you just want to be good in certain things others aren't.

since you told me a relative if yours died, it might have influenced the dream greatly, and the "sin/ guilt" thing would rather be concern for him, and an ensuing "what comes after this" question resulting from that.

When I was a kid, only up until 4 or 5 when it stopped, I only had about 4 or 5 different dreams, and most of them were nightmares (maybe 1 was good, I don't remember).

There was the cliff/waterfall nat'l park,
The doomsday/hospital/deranged doctor,
The wild West town,
And the relative's house with the pasture out back (this was the good one)

I'll tell whichever I get asked about.

Or you can purchase the Mystery Package! If you tell me a good joke I'll tell you one of my dreams I've had since being able to have different dreams. My dreams are always oddly vivid and specific enough for me to remember them years later.

Noice dream:
>sleeping on a wolf carcass in a shelf
>wake up, wolf becomes a dog
>dog fucks me in the ass
>walk to the next room
>my relatives are there, we walk downstairs
>they all walk outside
>nothing but mist outside
>there's a man boiling to death in our fridge
Interpret
>>
>>17895988
>dog fucks me in the ass
heh

a shelf represents a place where ideas and concepts are stored, and a wolf usually relates to fear one has. It can also symbolize natural urges/instinct/nature itself, good or bad. that it's dead might mean you lost these things or rather not have those.
i dont really know how to interpret the 'being fucked by a dog' part, but the wolf changing into a dog might represent these urges/ wildness of you being lost/tamed. it could also mean you might fear losing these parts of yourself, but it might also symbolize a positive transition you are making at the moment. This mostly depends on how you felt during this whole thing. if good: it means positive transition, if bad, its the fear/urges thing.

relatives in your dream can either be literally about your relatives, or about traits/characteristics these people represent to you. in the latter case, this might also represent aspects of yourself or aspects you wish to have.
them walking out in the mist is tricky. mist represents the unknown, mystery, confusion, loss, but also passing/transitioning from one state to another. it might even be seen as it hiding the truth.
i assume the man in the boiling water is a stranger to you. in that way, it represents a detachement from changes or situations around you. the boiling water can be viewed as both good and bad.
it can be viewed as just water, which is symbolic for the unconcious.
Boiling water, however, is often related to having anger and rage.
in this way, it might be possible you are angry at certain aspects of yourself, and have kept that anger inside for too long.

Pfft, there are no grills here.

My piece of crap interpretation says that you woke up feeling scared because you lost control of yourself. Alternatively, the sudden deprivation of demonic power would also make you feel frightened due to weakness.

When I was a little kid, I used to live near my aunt and uncle's house, with their three kids, my cousins, who my brother and I would play with. We were all close to the same age. I can remember always having these very intense, vivid nightmares, and it would be set in their house. I'm not sure why it was always at that house. Maybe because it was a different house than my own, but I was still familiar with it. A kind of sense of dislocation, which lends itself to a sense of terror?

Recently I went to visit my elderly mother. I brought my young daughter along, and also my brother happened to be visiting as well. We were having a discussion about our side of the family, and theirs. The thing is, my side of the family turned out well. Advanced degrees, well paying jobs, happy homes. On the other hand, their side of the family turned to trash. Parents broke up badly and sold the house years ago. Cousins all ended up with problems with drug addiction, mental illness, prison, abuse. We couldn't make heads or tails of this. Years ago, when I was a kid, you never would have predicted this outcome. There was only the backdrop of the horrible nightmares I had about the house my cousins grew up in.

I'm not suggesting the house was haunted or paranormal or cursed in anyway that caused their family to turn out the way it did. Though now I wonder if maybe, subconsciously, I was picking up on some kind of trouble in the household that my little kid brain just didn't know how to interpret.

Anyway. Last night, I had another intense nightmare about that house. Woke up in a cold sweat. Couldn't get back to sleep. It was the first time in decades

Continued....
>>
>>17896257
So I'm in the dream. We're in the house. It's me, in my current age, my young daughter, my elderly mother, and my brother. My aunt, uncle and cousins have departed, having "gone out for dinner." The implication being that they know the house is haunted/posessed whatever, and they've escaped, leaving us behind for bait. Now my brother and I are aware that the house is dangerous, and we have to leave immediately. My mother however initially refuses. I think she knows there's something wrong with the house, but is too stubborn to admit it.

After a lot of cajoling, creepy but not specific stuff in the house happening, and my daughter crying and screaming a lot, my mother finally agrees to leave the house. By this time the house has morphed into a gigantic, castle-sized version of itself. It's covered with weird scaffolding and balconies. In order to immediately escape the threat of the "ghost" or demon or presence or whatever, we climb out the window onto one of the balconies.

cont...
>>
>>17896267
All of this so far, except for our ages, is identical to the dreams I had as a kid. Sometimes I didn't make it this far in the dreams without waking up in fright. We are still in danger, because we've got to find a way to get down to the ground off the side of the house. There's the threat of falling, and also angering the entity inside of the house, which may or may not be a threat if disturbed.

My mother, now, has to be helped and carried down the various ladders and steps, and a big ramp at the end. Finally, we make it down to the ground, and safety. Just as this happens, my Aunt and Uncle pull up in their car, horrified to see what's happening. But still a bit reserved because they knew what their house was haunted and something horrible would happen sooner or latter. I guess it's sort of like that scene at the end of Poltergeist, where the family is escaping the house, and the real estate guy pulls up, both horrified and ashamed because he knew the bodies were buried there.

Anyway, we're walking around the side of the house, and the entity has become aware and angry at our escape. We're safe, but the terror rises. It starts speaking at us in a voice. This is usually the part where as a kid, I would wake up in fright. On the rare times that I didn't, I start to become angry and the ghost, and talk back. This happens in the dream last night. I raise my voice and shout back, upset because the ghost had put my family in danger. My family plead with me to just run away, but I've had enough and decide to challenge the ghost face to face. Maybe because I'm an adult now, and I protect my family.

There's a little door, halfway up the house I haven't noticed before. It's not any door a person would use, it's like it's the house where the ghost itself lives.

Having become enraged, it now decides to reveal itself and use whatever power it has to destroy me. The door swings open. Behind it is a powerful, blinding, multicolor light. Like it's some sort of portal to another dimension, or the netherworld. This is the end, like The End.

This is the point where as a kid, I would wake up in sheer terror. I only got to this point a handful of times, and I never survive it.

This time I stand my ground. I stare back at the ghost. I look into that horrifying light, and I don't flinch. I fight the ghost, and this time I win. The ghost breaks, the dream diminishes, and falls apart. I wake up.

I'm in my bed. Last night, 3 A.M. sharp. My dog, by my side, fidgets a bit and falls back asleep. I'm lying there, looking up at the ceiling, and the only sense I have is one deep contentment, and humor. I saw the dream much more clearly this time, and I recognized it. I found it humorous, because now I saw how juvenile the horror was.

Those scaffolding and ladders all over the house that felt so dangerous? It was Chutes and Ladders. That board game I used to play with my cousins in that very house. That horrible light at the end? It was a TV screen. It was showing the Muppets. Maybe it was Grover, maybe Animal, but it was angry at another muppet, and shaking its head violently. Something I would have seen at that house at some time, but have been too young to understand.

End post.

Alright then, this dream of mine wasn't really scary, it made me feel more creeped out and uneasy

>start out stranded at old lonely train station in the woods with 2 best friends and my grandmother
>missed train back, decided to wait for next one to depart sometime around 2-3 am (2.40 or 3.40, can't remember)
>Just finished school in dream, talk with 2 best school friends about old group pictures
>discuss events that happened, people we've me etc.
>then dream skips
>wake up in dream
>best male friend still there, best female friend gone
>says we missed the train
>says he tried to wake me up but I wouldn't
>says we need to wait til tomorrow
>watch TV, western movie about hurricanes
>check clock
>train departs in 2 hours
>night scenario, heavy rain
>tell me friend to get going
>get luggage and everything
>step out of house
>it isn't the train staion anymore, but now my grandmothers old home
>try talking to best friend
>silence at first - then responds like a programmed being
>still answers rather normally, but like he is being controlled - knows nothing about our inside quirks anymore
>trying to "wake him up", but to no avail
>hear something, turn around, but nothing there
>turn back around, best friend gone
>phone rings, I answer
>robot like service-voice on other end, telling me that my requested material will be delivered soon
>ask what material
>they hang up
>suddenly trailer next to me, the kind to transport things like rubble
>closed up by white canopy
>ring at grandmother home to get inside
>answers at first, but then silence, no one opens
>another phone call
>"your goods are being delivered"
>same thing happens again
>all alone now, houses around all dark and unreachable
>hear sound, coming closer
>wake up when it's almost caught up to me

As I said, not really a truly horrorfying dream, but rather one to make me feel really uneasy. What would be if the people you knew wouldn't know you anymore or act like robots, with you being the only sane person left?

I'll take a shot at some interpretation here. I'm pretty new, though, and just learning from my mother, so take it with a grain of salt alright?

>eating, being eaten
The easiest part of it. Being consumed, by guilt/fear/stress. A pretty common phenomenon in nightmares, it's likely there is something you know is going to shit but will not take action to solve- A deadline, relationship problem, the like.

>bug
Unnatural. What you're describing sounds like a beetle of some kind, with very large mandibles. They're a bad thing- Since they're seen as a plague, or that kind, I suspect this has something to do with health or another kind of thing you aren't used to dealing with.

>screaming man
Fear. Fear reaction, fear of something familiar but wrong. Works well with the beetle, there is something that you are not acknowledging that you need to get out of your life.

(Hope this helps anon! Pic related, evil motherfucker of a beetle.)
>>
>>17881203
>grandparents and younger brothers
>no parents
Sudden responsibility thrust upon you- care of infirm? Something you are not ready for and is not your responsibility, but are the only one capable of doing.

>basement; 3 doors
Reminds me a little of Hell. 3 is an important number, check it out sometime. Unsure about this.

>tainted food; was not there before
Poisoned gifts. Seems that they are only suddenly switching- start fine, and then coughing begins? Maggots are a sign of evil things growing.

A new responsibility you hate and are wholly unprepared for- And likely cannot complete well enough- Being aided by someone who does not have good intentions at heart.

(Hope this helps anon!)

I had a dream 2 nights ago, I haven't had it since i was a wee lad. Its that I'll be just chilling on my bed or just playing videogames and I'll be able to see both my arms in use, and then another arm appears, at first It's normal. But then It hits me that there's a third arm and it doesn't belong to me. so i look to find the sauce of the arm and its legit just bodyless, then i scream in my dream and wake up temples pulsing/

I reckon it has something to do with anxiety with the opposite sex or something. I could be wrong.

Didn't scare me like a true nightmare, it was just extremely unsettling

>start out with me and my boyfriend
>boyfriend tells me about some secret location that you need a special pass code to get into
>we get the pass code and head to this secret location
>enter into silenthillhospitalroom.jpg
>on a bed there's this decomposing body, think like a ghoul from Fallout
>body (corpse?) starts talking in some raspy voice talking about how badly she misses human contact

This is where it gets unsettling for me

>body calls my boyfriend over begging to be fucked
>boyfriend complies and walks over
>I've been doing nothing this entire dream, mostly just sitting and listening to everything going on
>boyfriend starts having sex with this body, its skin is tearing and blood is pouring out of it but it sounds like its enjoying it
>boyfriend finishes
>wake up

I have anxiety and high stress constantly so nightmares aren't uncommon, but I've never had anything this graphic and disturbing before

It could be caused by your fear of betrayal. Are you afraid your boyfriend could sleep with another woman? This could cause your brain to see the woman who stole your boyfriend as a disgusting monster. The secret password thing could be related to the fact he could be trying to keep relationship with another woman a secret. The fact you did nothing during the dream could be your fear about you being helpless in such situation.
>>
>>17897845
He's my first serious boyfriend, but he has had a couple relationships before me, I've always been worried about whether I'm better than his other girlfriends or if I'm good enough for him. I think the other woman might represent my fear of someone who can please him better than I could. I'm not afraid he would cheat though.

I always dream about cuddling. The only way to describe it is I see a girl ive never seen before and automatically feel like ive known her for years. Never sex, never a lot of kissing...just staring into each others eyes and I run my hands through her hair. After waking up, i realize ive never met her and feel a little dissapointed

I also dream about flying a lot, or doing really awesome jumping stunts and showing off with inhuman speed, sliding around and shit just having fun....desu I havent had any nightmares lately

No, but I have another thing reminiscent of this.

>>17895982
The two most memorable versions of this were as follows:
Version A
>walk in through door, I'm 3 or 4, my mom is with me
>am greeted by my (great) aunt
I should mention this house is basically my grandparents' house, but it was never my grandparents in the house
>offers me frozen M&Ms, fuckyeah.jpeg
>while snacking at kitchen table, looking out into sunny backyard/pasture
>decide to go outside
>teleport through the walls/Windows and frolic in the field

Version B
>in my current/family's house in this one, in the kitchen, aunt is somewhere in house
>go to window by kitchen table, notice it's dark/evening outside, snow on the ground
>basically opposite of Version A
>see my parents having fun outside, except they're young again, like 20something
>having fun, happy, in love, throwing snowballs
>go outside to follow them, fence disappeared in the process, my backyard is now an endless forest
>turn around, parents are gone, house is dark
>turn back to face the treeline, wolves staring at me
>they descend, I wake up
Kinda weird that I was able to know that they weren't in love when I dreamt this, they divorced some years after this

Every once in a while, I have extremely mundane dreams that are prophetic.
In high school, summer before senior year, I dreamt I was in a classroom for theatre so the seats where uphill if that makes sense. I remember "fuck" etched into the seat in front of me. Someone who I found attractiveness even though i didn't see them was reading from our textbook. Fast forward spring semester, it hit me like a tom of bricks. It was creepy.
The other time, I had a dream I woke up in a church filled with zombies and a priest started chasing me. Three days later I saw 28 days later and it was wholly uncomfortable.
Most recently, I was rolling with some friends and we were walking around the valley. We end up at this shopping center I've seen in my dreams countless times.

I usually have extremely realistic dreams that feel like real life, but they've escalated recently. I just had my first sleep paralysis (that I remember at last) last Sunday morning; I've seen this shadow thing at the bottom of my stairs before and I've always thought of it as my mom. I saw that next to me during my paralysis. Woke up and moved in what seems to be slow motion to the figure crying "mom??" And shaking her and her face seemed to not react. Spoiler alert, it was her, but not the first time. It was a very uncomfortable, ominous stance the other shadow had. Like it was observing me. I already feel stuff like that in this house so it made sleeping that night impossible

Alright, I'll do my best here.

Pic 1: Centre of your world is grey. Stone, you seem to think there is some stability to it, though blightmold shows there is something wrong with it, all through your world even to your temple. Gold glow- Either it used to be better, or there is something hidden beneath. This makes the mold questionably good, as if it is revealing the gold then it's similar to the Death card- change is needed and turmoil is the way to it. If it is sapping the gold, that is sucking away some positive part of your core, be it vitality or joy, etc.
>>
>>17898839
Pic 2: Abandoned town, often a sense of isolation. Standard application for that. Ruin, desolation, loneliness, Bad Things (tm) in your view. Same blight, seems to add to negativity, possibly the cause of the lack of people. If so, something you are doing is driving people away.
>>
>>17898844
The sudden shift from stone interior to jungle is odd. My best guess here is a change from your internal desires of structure, to the external state of pandemonium.

The shanty and rusted bunk are, in my best guess, some sense of poor quality of life you want to keep away-- And then, a dilapidated castle, of sorts, with a moat of separation trying to be civilized, and failing simply because of what it is surrounded by? That's the best I can manage. It's a bit confusing, might just be something you "do not want" from a dream.
>>
>>17898856
As for the last segment with worms, parasites are pretty self-explanatory. Something you do not want. Were the worms there all along? Were they from the river? What was the river like? Was it clear or muddy, still or riotous? Were there animals? -- Were the worms like earthworms or maggots?

>>
>>17898899
It stopped after I started praying to my Patron Saint. St. George. And when I started reciting the Father's Prayer once every month.

I live in a place where a lot of Tatar warriors died. They don't like us Slavs.

They followed me into Greece once. Had to kick a dark figure off of me, got out of bed with scars along my legs.

The friendly person who spoke with me, I believe, lives in a helmet I found in a military dump.
>>
>>17898907
That's good. I don't do Christian magics, not really, so I'm glad that worked for you.

You might wanna do something about Tatar-proofing your house... And uh, do routine checks if you've already been hooked on once.

Really? That's nice you have a friendly soldier, but you might wanna ask if he wants to move on at some point. If he's talking to you, he's caught, and if he wants a way out it'd be mean to not give him some (non-self-harming) chance. Assuming he'll talk to you again.
>>
>>17898920
Hooked on?

And, he didn't speak to me since. I got scared and moved the helmet out of the room. Should I return him? Or... Can concrete walls stop ghosts?

Latched onto? Followed? Stalked? The jerk who hooked on you followed you to Greece. If it happens once, as far as I understand, it's more likely to happen again.

I wouldn't necessarily do that. It easily could be both entities are in the helmet. In all honesty, I'm still in training as far as the sentients go, and my best guess would be he only has so much energy to manifest. If you're willing to do that again, and are able to deal with the consequences of inviting him in, I would, but I would make sure you're prepared for a similar experience too. But at least be respectful towards the helmet and entity, and if he seems angry you moved him don't react with fear or anger. If he's a good ghost he should understand, but they're not... All there, you know. And if he doesn't wanna move on, hopefully he's a good roommate.
>>
>>17898953
Ah, well. I'm not entirely sure it was the same ghost in Greece. It was just that it was the same thing happening to me. Maybe it was subjective, and he's a completely different ghost? I never really felt followed.

As far as the soldier goes, and inviting / calling them over / sharing a room... well...
I don't want to disturb him. If he wishes to speak with me, he will. I don't want to be invasive. However, I know that if I ever died as a soldier, I'd want to tell some kid about it and make his life less boring.
>>
>>17898963
The fact that anything followed you is no bueno, man...

I know. Henry is a chill dude but I don't like it any more than Babushka does when he appears and is interested in the dishwasher.

If you don't want to bother him, I hope he'll come to you if he wants to move on, and that he can pass over in a nice manner when he is ready.

And... Not necessarily. They usually experience the strongest emotions of their death and replay that, even if sentient- You could easily remind him of a kid in his little circle of friends, and the only reason he's nice is because he wants to still protect the innocent. And at the same time, it could be remorse- and wants to make up for it. Or he could just plain be a good guy. As I said, hope he is a light being, and I hope he finds peace. Hell, I hope you find peace too.

There's two that confuse the fuck out of me.

First one I've been having for more than a decade, last had it a couple years ago.

>always been deathly pale where I don't tan
>wake up in graveyard ten miles, remember everything until I 'woke up'
>sky is sickly orange, sun is blacked out except a scarlet ring around it
>always end up finding some sort of intricate weapon- sometimes a greatsword, sometimes a scythe- but only those out of the hundreds of times I've had this dream.
>some gut instinct makes me take it with me
>end up making my way up into the mountains, some voice telling me to go north.
>typically deal with humans for a bit, not that I want to.
>in past dreams, would always get attacked by these... things. I've never read about them in any sort of weird stories or anything.
>tall, beaked, shiny and black with a hard exoskeleton
>claws, about 7 feet tall
>when I was younger I'd usually run and inevitably get my legs and arms ripped off
>as I got older I started to fight, keep moving
>typically loot a house near the graveyard in my dream because there's a suit of armor in the living room that's strong enough to stop their claws but not their beaks
>typically two or three days goes by in these dreams getting attacked randomly by either humans with tire irons, crossbows, or once a chucklefuck with an SKS, or those... popcorn creatures I grew to call them (their interior bits smell like slightly burnt popcorn.)
>the last time I had it, I fell to an arrow and woke back up at a fire with my sword stuck inside it
>girl who looked, at the time, just like my fiancee but without eyes
>"Welcome to the bonfire, ashen one."

Two years after that line was first uttered in a dream I discovered Dark Souls. It's making me wonder if maybe there's something more to it than 'lol git gud'.

I did some digging around, there's a house in the area exactly where it is in my dream that looks identical.

Second one;
>wake up with a nasty headache in the middle of a forest
>girl with a black wolf's ears and tail, blonde hair finds me
>"the fuck happened to you?" or something to that effect is asked by her
>end up dragged back to civilization, crash on her couch for a few days as I get my bearings again
>turned out I got disowned by family for fuck-knows-why, no memory of last two weeks
>manage to transfer most of my units to local university so I can finish my engineering degree, crash with Christina in the meantime
>fiancee became ex-fiancee while I was gone
>next few weeks are me getting a job, getting school ironed out and generally getting to know roommate
>always end up falling for fox/wolfgirl
>this either goes 'nah let's just be friends' or 'yeah sure'
>end up making a trip cross-country to get my stuff from my parents' house, she doesn't even think about showing off the extremities around parents who just think she's cosplaying some character they don't know
>"Y-yeah... Ehe."
>get attacked on way back to VA
>she just cocks back and slugs him in the face
>flash of light, deafening blast and his body above his ribcage just vanishes
>try to process some shit that I just witnessed, don't think about it
>she has a psychological breakdown from killing someone like that, we haul ass so she doesn't get fucked by the law
>just dig around with her to see how she did that, turns out she's not fully human but we don't know what she really is
>basic TL;DR of her personality is, basically, a very crass, brash and sometimes-loud Horo
>either way, we end up roomies after getting over what happened and then move on with our lives as lifelong friends, or end up married, have kids and grow old together

Those dreams are the reason I've been still moving forward lately, despite the fact I'll never have a qt wolfgirl. Maybe I'll meet her real equivalent.

Still confused about the ears/tail. I don't even like dogs or wolves, let alone sexually.

When I was a kid I got sick a lot.

Anytime I got really really sick, like pneumonia, Id have a recurring dream.

Id wake up alone in a room, it was always either my parents bedroom or a hospital room.

There was always a person dressed all in black head to toe standing in a corner across from me.

He just stands there and and I can only feel pure dread.

This has happened like, six times.

I posted this on reddit a long fucking ass time ago, and two different people messaged me telling me that they had a similar experience.

When I met her she had a slight squish factor- nothing you'd notice without hugging her or something- but in sequential dreams she lost those last couple pounds and went into average range, which was fine with me.

This is spooky tho senpai. Did she swear a lot? When I say a lot I mean like. A lot. 'swearing like a sailor', I think the expression goes.

You have a post number I can CTRL+F? I whiffed over it I think.

goes on.

And, yeah... She was kinda vulgar, from what I remember. We walked along a river bank.
>>
>>17899067
Sounds kinda like her.

Around me she always wore jeans or yoga pants and this sky-blue hoodie that was severely oversized. Either that or T-shirt and shorts, or some combination of the above.

On my end of things her hair was way lighter than pic related, was like untamable.

Those dreams though... Shit senpai.

The hunting one fucks me up- I don't go innawoods with people for that exact reason.
>>
>>17899078
Definitely something worth looking into. Couldn't be just the two of us. She's probably a matron, or a saint. Or just Morana, plain and simple....

As far as dreams ago, I dropped writing them down because they often became so depressing that I couldn't speak to my friends with anything other than "Yes, No, Alright."
>>
>>17899079
Considering that after she came around, people stopped fucking with me and I stopped ending up getting attacked, it's... fucky.

You can write them down and post them here tho senpai.

Any idea on what the first one has any meaning of?

The one with ghosts wasn't a dream. I legit have a problem with them ever since I opened my mind to that existing.

My father tells me that I've talked with them ever since I was 4. Sometimes even talking with Archangel Michael. I don't remember any of it. Even if I remember the conversation, I won't remember that it was about, only that it happened.

Seeing people in white above you seems so silly when you're young. Then you remember two decades later and realize what you've been pushing back all this time.

As far as hunting goes, it wasn't just hunting. A few times I was running away from friends who wanted to kill me for some reason. I never shot back. Couldn't bring myself to it.

We'll need a new thread soon.

Happened Yesterday last night.
>Recall seeing a small park
>sitting down, its a beautiful day with the leaves flowing and the afternoon sunlight setting
>My dream takes me back to my first ex moments
>As we were about to kiss, something awful goes wrong
>Ex suddenly turns into a fucking monster (Im assuming a succubus)
> Can feel an abnormally large tongue begin to violate my mouth as she tongues me, i soon taste an awful lot mixture of rust and blood
>Im trying to force my self out of the situation but she has me pinned and is grabbing me with so much strength
>realize theres not much I can do, so I let it do as it pleases until its over
>wake up

As soon as I woke up, I became sick and just felt extremely down. Being /x/, do you think I mightve been attacked by a succubus?
>>
this might be a lil different but this is more of an afterdream
>be me
>sick
>take these medications which help me fight my fever
>after the meds you're supposed to sleep
>ok.jpg
>sleep decently
>suddenly wake up
>don't recall any dream
>covered in sweat, but that's what the meds do so i don't worry too much
>start hearing voices
>they're screaming things to me
>i remember it being hard to understand because there were like ten of them or something but i think they said
>"GET UP"
>"HURRY"
>"GO"
>and they continue mocking me and shit
>whilst i try to fall asleep they just yell louder and louder
>can't stand it anymore and feel like i'm gonna go insane
>get up to get some water
>now they start saying
>"YES"
>"GO"
>"FINALLY"
>literally want to die at this point because i can't hear myself think from the voices
>after a long sippage of water they fade out
happened to me several times, mostly when i took those meds but sometimes just out of nowhere. what is this?
>>
Just dreamed this.
>be me
>go to the beach with my 3 best friends
>they leave me because their families called them
>i stay at the beach with some old acquaintenance
>i feel the saddest person on Earth
>>
i kept falling asleep so this makes little sense

>be me
>have to get to a tiny ass elevator
>big dude trying to kill me
>eventually get to the elevator and escape
>start back at the bottom
>avoid the big guy again by jumping over barrels and shit
>get to elevator
>does not work
>there is instead a barrel going up and down
>screw around more and manage to jump on the barrel
>jesus pushes me off
>wake up before the big guy gets me

I fell back asleep and had a dream about being part of team extreme from action man cause I watched an episode a week ago. It wasn't too good just a bunch of arguing and action man being a dick. There was a third dream, but i forgot it

From my dream journal last night-

I was in a desert and saw a metal/silver capsule about the shape of a water heater beading or sweating cool water.

I saw three towers of glass shaped like water glasses rise up out of the sand, one inside the other.

I was trying to pass a road in a busy street full of people and it was too crowded to pass. I learned a shortcut to get past the people. A secret group were pretty unhappy with this but the group's leader said he liked me.

Big guy, elevator's broken, jumping over barrels. Been playing any Donkey Kong?

My interp- You feel outside forces are keeping you from succeeding.

I take it as a yes. Next dream is quite simple:

>I'm in a dark room, red lighted
>There's another me on the ground
>I'm smashing his head with all my rage and strength
>Using an iron pipe
>oh wait, it isn't an iron pipe
>It's the head of someone of the other dreams
>I wake up before even killing myself

Having died a thousand deaths and then some, having also grown accustomed to lucid dreaming, I now just reckon my brain simply never shuts down. It just lacks the proper way to compute the input from my senses.

For example, when I can't breathe, I die of drowning. When I'm too hot, I die of a nuke going off in the distance. When I'm eaten alive, I've constricted myself in my sheets and I'm lying such that circulation to my limbs is hindered.

It all makes sense that way. I reckon it's just the body warning me about dangers.

will do a couple of interpretations for the next few hours.
if you already posted your dream, please link so I know you want an interpretation and/or you're still here to see it.
also, feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I already did my own interpretation (as you can see) but I'm willing to hear you out. Might be interesting. If you need more info feel free to ask.

I've always had the same dream, in a slightly different format, twice. Every dream, every nightmare, has been a two-deal thing, if that makes any difference, but I haven't had this one for the second time.

>be me
>wake up in room, like usual
>go to bathroom, usual morning business
>face mirror when brushing hair
>mirror blinks I do not
>run the hell out of there and vidya to distract self, Dragon Age Origins if it matters
>lunch
>spoon for something
>look at spoon
>reflection winks
>scream and run
>outside
>in desert
>rain but is clear
>look in raindrop
>reflection blows a kiss
>water is red
>try to run, can't
>keeps raining, look down
>reflection comes out of water, grabs me
>drowning
>wobbly vague reflection on the surface stands up, I can breathe again
>try to stand and can't
>hands up against water
>water feels like liquid glass, maybe mercury
>wake up

>>17900016
wouldn't really know how to interpret that as a dream. besides, if you have interpreted it yourself, you are likely far more accurate than i could ever be, since you have the most details.
as far as the meanings behind the things you describe, i can only really guess.
-drowning: being overwhelmed by (old) emotions/feelings or recent changes
-dying of nuke: fear/anxiety over a big change which seems/is out of your control. could also mean the end of a certain situation you are in, how you felt dying is how you feel about this change.
-eaten alive: can mean a whole lot of things given the small details. since i don't have those, i would venture to a common explanation: you feel being overwhelmed or told what to do to much by something or someone.

>>17900059
Thanks for your interpretation, however I have great doubts simply because these dreams were VERY frequent and almost always occurred with the associated physical conditions. I also don't angst easily.

Thanks for your interpretation though.

your dream is pretty coherent.

waking up in a dream can represent something is missing/lacking: this can be a lot of things, but given the self reflection bit, i'd say it's either an aspect of inner self, or parts of your self-identity.
the mirror represents your perception of yourself, and how you want others to perceive you. it can also be representative of your inner self, which i think is the case here.
your reflection seems to want your attention, which can symbolize your unconscious/inner self trying to get your attention. it can also mean you might be fearful or scared of what you are deep inside or the 'you' you think you are. That it's eventually trying to grab you and 'replace' you is the inner self/an aspect of yourself asking for attention and your fear of it changing you for the worse.
a desert represents isolation or a fear of isolation, while rain can mean the release or processing of emotions or experiences. red indicates they are intense.

New thread is here, guys.

as i said, your own interpretation is most of the time the best one, since you have the most information on the experience and effects. i'm not 100% accurate, and I've only recently been doing this, so there's that.
and thanks as well!
>>
>>17900108
I'd say that's comforting but it's really not. Especially because I hate mirrors. Thank you though!
>>
>>17874141
So, can anyone help? I think i need help retaining my dreams, as most of them flow from my mind when i start to wake up. The only ones i can keep are the ones that i can conform to a type of story. The weirdest part of them is how they will twist from topic to topic, like from fantasy to the future, through some weird nonsensical portal thing? It apparently wasn't that important, and it wasn't as recent.
