Hello my friends. In Russia, there is a tradition to decorate the yards of houses and grounds, home-made sculpture. Materials used tires , wood, iron , concrete mortar. Above it are painted with oil paints . However, from cold and wet , the dye fades, crumbling of concrete , iron rot. A sculpture that had not previously distinguished beauty , transformed here into it . Sorry for my english . I just want to share it .
This miner . His face was smeared with charcoal , and in the hands of a jackhammer
Thank you for sharing these with us. It shows us that, for better or for worse, time changes all things.

I still have a lot of photos. I will throw off further. when I look at them, I think of the ancient pagan sacrifices kulah and bloodthirsty gods.
It's a bird Gamayun . It is mentioned in Slavic mythology . Half- bird , half- woman . She sings wonderful songs inspiring hope. Those who can differentiate amongst the truth can hear in her songs prophecy.
This cartoon character Cat Liapold . He has a phrase he often said - Guys, let's live together . However , it is half covered with snow , and the last word is closed. it turns out that his sign says - Guys, let's live ... Given the surroundings , it looks pretty bleak.
Perhaps one of the most zhudko photos in my collection . This sculpture is on the landing . The author calls her an angel . He probably has a mental illness .

In the hands of an "angel " is holding a sign that writing - " please: do not break this angel He's here for the happiness and prosperity of our home Let him live here and bring good luck Happy New Year :) . . . "
At first sight, in this photo you can see a small house and a statue of a soldier. Few people know that this is the grave... This building is located in Yakutia (East of Russia). The local people have preserved pagan traditions. In order to bury the man, they build a small house and put all the necessities one would need in the afterlife. The statue shows a Soviet soldier during the second world war. He smiles ,his chest visible coin. Next to him is a barrel of beer ( low-alcohol drink, similar to beer) In his hands he holds a glass. in the background are visible two orders. As you know, oficialno, all Soviet people were atheists, but in remote district, and remained pagan rites. It looks very unusual combination of Soviet symbols and pagan funeral cult.
that's pretty cool op. these are my favorites along with the soldier's grave >>17867349 >>17867374 >>17867431
I've seen lots of junk sculptures in america. in my hometown, a metalworker with a big junkyard outside his shop used to make a lot of metal sculptures to decorate his fence and roof. he'd make people out of car mufflers and tractor parts and stuff. he was very prolific. I went down that street often to visit friends and I liked to see what he'd come up with next. another guy in town made a scrap metal dragon for his front yard out of chain link fence panels
now I live somewhere with more trees, people here sometimes carve wooden statues. especially german and russian families. it's awesome

Here is another monument to the fallen heroes of world war II. Also located in Yakutia. What is written there, I don't understand. It is likely the local dialect.
This is awesome.
Thanks for sharing anon.
You guys have US hillbillies beat for creepy yard stuff.
