First you are gonna want to join a cabal of wizards like yourself. Feel free to do research into any of the various "secret societies" that you want.

The main thing to remember when it comes to secret societies is that they fall into one of two main categories: Order, and Chaos. Each has it's own beliefs and practices but they are usually each based upon order or chaos in some from. Do your research on Order and Chaos before deciding which society to join. Once you join a secret society and you move on up the ranks, things can get really weird really fast.

Now joining a society is not necessary but it does have it's perks, as well as it's draw backs. It's up to you to do the research to make the smart choice.

What you want to do next is learn, for you see, Everything is magick. It may not all resemble the magick you are used to in video games (don't worry at the higher levels their is stuff like that) but it is magick all the same.

You are going to want to go to college and get your degree in a stem field.

There are many things you can do here and I'll leave it to you to discover them for yourself.

Remember you will have to do a lot of hard work to earn your knowledge and your magical abilities.
