There was an episode of john oliver that showed a clip from a courtroom in forida where the judge ends up fighting one of the lawers, people are a special kind of fucked up there
>>
not Idaho. Personally i think Nevada or Arizona, after some things that ive been through in those places the desert scares the shit out of me at night
>>
Idaho can be pretty bad its just the police here try and cover everything up
>>
>>17843663
Lol, wtf is Idaho? You said that on the last thread and no one believed you then either, puss.

My vote is probably some place like W Virginia or a place that still has inbred clans living in the mountains or swamps.
>>
>>17843653
What kinds of things have you been through out there?

Also, West Virginia is pretty spooky. All woods and inbred mountain folk
>>
>>17843584
the one with the most blacks
>>
>>17843690
Which state is that?
>>
>>17843690
By population it's Georgia with NY second.

By percentage it's Mississippi first (nearly 40%), then Louisiana and Georgia second and third.
>>
Louisiana. Voodoo, Loup Garou, Jazz Hatchetman, vampires, swamps, Marie Laveau, slaves, and a whole lotta drugs. Lotta murders here anyway, people here can be scary on their own.
>>
>>17843584
Northeast: def new Jersey, MA comes in second but Boston doesn't feel as scary as some of jerseys cities.

Mid Atlantic: west Virginia

Gulf: Louisiana

Southwest : Arizona

Midwest to the northwest I dunno
>>
>>17843591

i live in new jersey. what's so spooky about it?
>>
>>17843584
Any of the tri-states. Mass takes the cake.
>>
>>17843914
New York isnt that spooky and mass isn't in the tri state
>>
>>17843920
Those were supposed to be two separate statements but I formatted it weird. And upstate NY is breddy spoopy.
>>
ITT: people oblivious that many, many parts of the USA call themselves "The Tri-State Area"

"There are a number of areas in the 48 contiguous United States known informally as tri-state areas. Often, a tri-state area is an area associated with a particular town or metropolis that lies across three states. Some, but not all, of these involve a state boundary tripoint. Other "tri-state" areas have a more diffuse population that shares a connected economy and geography, especially with respect to climate, such as the tri-state area of Indiana, Ohio and Michigan."

Baton Rouge is pretty spooky. You go down there to have a fine time at a parade and you have some guy who walks through it stabbing people. There's always stabbings at parades in Louisiana.

I live in New Orleans, and not long ago some out-of-state relatives came to visit and they brought their dog.

Let me tell you, that dog sensed some wild shit. He's a really good traveler so he doesn't have homesickness or fear or anxiety about being in foreign places. He became majorly depressed almost as soon as they arrived. He wouldn't eat or play and wasn't excited about going anywhere or doing anything. He'd wake up in the middle of the night and pace the house randomly and whimper and bark urgently. He'd go to the door to the basement and stand there looking at it for long periods of time, even sleeping there. Then we'd walk him up and down the street and his behavior would only get more erratic and strange. And when they left he returned to normal.

They've been all around the country with that dog and he's never reacted to an environment as he did here.

Or another southeastern state, a lot of blood and suffering over history. Before I enlisted, Georgia had countless spoopy stories. Southern California has a lot as well regarding the missions, and abandoned asylums. Could just be a folklore thing, every southern state has a crybaby bridge or goatman. Centralia PA, seems legit spook though.

WV is scary as fuck for real.
>>
>>17843668
Yes WV and Kentucky terrified me for real. The back woods motherfuckers kept trying to get me and my mum to pull over it was crazy. Of course I know it's not like that all over WV and KY.
>>
>>17845402
mostly because of the man on man assrape
>>
>>17843787
This, crazy ass Cajuns, Creoles, Indians, blacks, and rednecks. Old, Catholic, French=Spoopy.

It's also a very dangerous state statistically, very high violent crime and murder rate. My dad's friend witnessed some guy shoot another guy over some ongoing squabble while he was driving down the street in their small Cajun town.
>>
>>17845409
>The back woods motherfuckers kept trying to get me and my mum to pull over it was crazy. Of course I know it's not like that all over WV and KY.

I'm intrigued, story? It's always weird to go somewhere where people are extremely suspicious of "outsiders" and try to run them out of town. Because most small towns are normal and not like that.
>>
>>17845409
i live in bumfuck Ky and can say its kinda spoopy at night in the woods
>>
>>17845667
Whenever I was alone in a room in my house growing up, I'd call out greetings and formalities in French and the room would always grow cold. At one point I was convinced a spirit was sleeping in my bed.
I like my heritage but it comes with plenty of spoops.

I'm gonna drive up to Centralia soon. It's about two hours away from me (I'm in Maryland). Any other ideas for spooky places in this area to visit?

Connecticut

The Warrens are from there and their occult museum also.

Haunting in Connecticut movie, my hometown has a movie called the Innkeepers on Netflix pretty spooky about a haunted inn.

Connecticut then Massachusettes/ upstate new york. New England in general I'm guessing has the highest rate of mental illness, but highest IQ's as well.

Maine, Penn and Mass are spookiest. Didn't know about Hartford

Great, my dad lives inside that red circle and I'm going to see him in a few weeks. Care to elaborate on what kind of spoops to look out for?
>>
>>17849054
Aside from obligatory ayy lmao, it's just a free-range dumping ground for the country's survivalists, fundamentalists, and small communities with generally weird people, plus the sheer emptiness is creepy as hell, even in broad daylight.

>>17849048

Georgia is the state with the most AAs.
>>

America is scary in general..
full of demons... and it's the host of two tentacle monsters... Young Thug and Satan
Babylon The Great...
Drones and clones everywhere who all have the same mind, like Unity from Rick and Morty lol...
The Revelation 17:13
It's fucking gross
so fucking gross
>>
>>17849059
Ahhhh, I live in Florida so I'm used to strange people. Shouldn't be that bad then. Apparently my sister had issues with a demon (she's also a sociopath so I can't put too much faith in the story) but that's not so much a Nevada thing as it is a personal thing.
>>
>>17846145
Wow, it looks like you live in some shitty crack hood.

Everyone who agrees with Louisiana, check this video and the channel out. Guy specialises in Louisiana spooks. Actually interviews people with experiences directly and explores the locations involved for research.

idaho fag, what part you from? Magic valley here
>>
I stay in Metairie which is a town not too far from New Orleans. Nearby is a place called Mercy hospital which was a mental hospital abandoned right after Katrina. Few weeks ago me ad friends broke in late at night for shits and giggles. The only thing we were worried about was the occasional meth heads taking refuge. Though there was no methheads there was a quant feeling of someone else there. It was pitch black other than our phone lights and flashlights we brought. I wet to light up a smoke and not even seconds after I heard noises that were not my friends. A little spooked we continued on only to keep looking at the abandoned beds and equipment left there. Moments later I almost shit a brick when I saw a floating orb fly into another room. This was the dealbreaker I demanded that we leave and we did after explaining what I saw. Never going back there again... La is filled with similar places.

Maine. Anywhere in the northern Appalachians is fucked, and the further north you go, the worse it gets, ending at its most fucked up in Beauce, Quebec.
>>
>>17843874
Alot of north eastern urban legends sightings intersect in new jersey, sasquatch, goatman, including it's own legends like the jersey devil. Not to mention a ton of spooky spots scattered around, ever read the magazine "Weird N.J."?

Mainefag in post above, will give a maine story about the guy who died outside my house

so a backround, we have alot of bikers in maine, alot of biker gangs come with it

so heres the story

>march or april of last year
>right when it starts to get a little warmer
>justenoughtorideyourmotorcycle.jpeg
>past couple nights around 1 to 2 am we hear 3 or 4 bikes roar by like fast as fuck then peel off in distance
>One night its 1 or 2 in morning
>nobikenoises
>thinking okay thats weird
>decide to stay up and wait
>about 3:30 in morning
>hear distant bike noise coming
>oh shit this ones gonna be loud
>gets closer and closer
>all the sudden BLAM followed by a loud screech an explosion and the sound of a body sliding on pavement
>look outside window
>see body laying on the street that turns into my house
>see bike on fire
>see side of tree ripped to shreds
>bunch of bikers pull up, then cops come
>guy died on impact

scary as shit, think about if his soul roams the streets from time to time
>>
>no texas

MA is definitely the spookiest. I used to work along Old Route 1 in Saugus. The woods behind where I worked were old and large, stretching all the way to Mt. Hood quite a few miles away. Old Rte. One is one of the oldest routes created by white settlers in North America, and there are supposedly people who live there who are inbred descendants of Puritan settlers who first moved there. I've personally seen one of them, imagine Deliverance meets Robin Williams in Jumangi, but my manager has a working relationship with themy, he passes them food and alcohol in exchange for keeping meth heads from fucking with his business. If those people grab you and take you back to wherever they dwell, you're not coming back, especially if you're an addict who no one will miss. It's some Lovecraftian shit man...
>>
Probably Louisiana because it's got a lot of voodoo shit and nothing good happens in swamps.
>>
Texas
>>
Louisiana
>>
>>17849283
Not him but another Idaho fag. Just moved to Boise last week actually. I can definitely see potential for spoopy shit because of the crazy amount of woods and uninhabited land north of Boise.
>>
>>17844051
Really? I mean sure there's paranormal stuff here but it's not spooky... I actually feel comfort knowing my ancestors still wander around...
>>
Where's spookier, West VA or VA? I'd think SW VA is probably a lot like WVA...
