Long ago, when I was a child (actually I have 19 years), I read a book about fairies. Supposedly, in the summer solstice, the fairies dance at night for about one week and they can be seen by the eyes of any human. The solstice was in june 21.
What can you say about, /x/?
>>17840533
I can assure you that they are very much real, and very much terrifying and beautiful. And they come in all shapes and sizes too
>>17840533
If fairies were real they'd definitely only be in super remote areas.
I'd imagine that they'd be pretty difficult to find even if they were real.
>>17840553
They are everywhere, you just have to look hard enough.
>>17840562
Really, where?
I'd like to see a fairy.
>>17840544
>>17840562
Is there any form to see them?
>>17840553
Usually, the tales that speak about fairies, occur in remote places like a cave or a forest, far away from the city.
>>17840574
I want to see a fairy like Airy.
>>17840553
>>17840574
They're not physically real like us or other animals. The only place you'll probably ever see one is in a dream, on drugs or in a psychotic state
The Fae are assholes who will just as soon curse or kill you as look at you. Go look up the original Scottish and Celtic legends on these fuckers, nothing actually positive there.
Either they eat you, curse you horribly, or steal your kids. I'd rather deal with Japanese occult, at least with youkai you usually have a way out if you say just the right thing.
>>17840584
>They're not physically real like us or other animals. The only place you'll probably ever see one is in a dream, on drugs or in a psychotic state
Oh.
>>17840579
>I want to see a fairy like Airy.
Don't we all.
>>17840586
Yokai are the shit, coolest spirits in the world.
They're real, but they're also huge dicks.
Fun to party with, though.
>>17840579
>Is there any form to see them?
Yes, the form required is B14, addendum C2, paragraph E.
Seriously, though, your best bet, if you don't know the names of your local fairies, is to just wander around forrests. They like clearings in the middle of the woods, and springs!
Thanks to my grandfather, I'm blessed with such an estate and I enjoy watching the little folk glide through the air every once in a while.
>>17840586
Have they ever fucked over a decent, good, hardworking, humble person? No!
Go fuck yourself, hater.
I remember have read a "method" to let one see fairies it is written on a book at my parents house, I'm trying to find a pdf version or something but still can't.
I only remember that it was some sort of salve made of flowers and that one must rub it on their eyelids, supposedly with that, one will be able to see all the fairies around.
good book on the good neighbors
>>17840636
The trouble is that here there aren't forest nearby. It's a desert region.
>>17840638
I read about putting honey under the moon on the solstice, know as the St John's Eve. The fairies love the taste and scent of the honey.
>>17840660
Have you the pdf of the book?
>>17840684
Top tier waifu.
>>17840805
>The trouble is that here there aren't forest nearby. It's a desert region.
Well, you could probably find goblinoids of some sort in that kind of evironment. But I don't know, I'm no expert.
What does your local folklore tell you?
OP you dumb fuck. Fairies are only native to Northern Europe. You won't find any in a desert you idiot. Look for native injun desert animals and not fairies.
>>17841046
You fucking what? Fairies are so common among all cultures around the world that they are part of the monomyth
>>17841060
EUROPEAN FAIRIES are native to Europe. Those are what OP is looking for. The summer solstice and seeing fairies for a week after is tied to EUROPEAN FAIRY TRADITION, IDIOT. If OP wants to see "fairylike" creatures he can look for injun little people or goblins, not EUROPEAN FAIRIES. kill yourself
>>17841065
Then he won't find them cuz he lives in da fucking desert and worships Allah. I don't know why he would be looking for sheitans then in the first place.
And wow, 20+ posts, and no mention of our own fairy
>>17841065
>>17841046
>>17841127
Why not both?
>>17841134
You got a good point there.
>>17841108
I assumed OP was in the US desert because why the fuck not, idiot. Most people here are from the US, not many sandniggers.
>>17841127
Are you that much of a fucking idiot? Sasquatches don't live in Europe, FAIRIES DON'T LIVE ANYWHERE OUTSIDE OF NORTHERN EUROPE. LEARN SOME FUCKING FOLKLORE.
>>17841152
Too bad loudmouth trolls aren't restricted to one place.
Froth more dingus.
>>17841145
If he was a burger, he'd tell us so. The only reason he doesn't tell us where he's from is because he's too ashamed. He's a goatfucker.
And the Americas are full of fairies, for fucks sake.
>>17841152
Kys
I had sexual intercourse with a fairy in a dream once. Does that count?
>>17841201
Tell us about it
>>17841205
Not really much to tell to be honest. It was a very short dream and it was very vague.
>Dreaming
>Walk through a forest
>See a blueish light
>Walk towards it
>See a fair woman sitting on a tree, naked.
>Her hair emits a blueish glow
>I feel compelled to walk towards her
>I kneel down and she leans closer
>Kisses me
>Proceed to make love
>Wake up
I felt a bit drained that day afterwards but that is about it. Never dreamt about her again or any other fairy really.
I still don't know wheter it was just my imagination or real.
>>17841216
Sounds real to me.
Why the fuck would you want to find a fairy?! The fair folk allways were and are vicious little shits that delight in fucking you up.
>>17842858
Fuck you, niqqa
>hey!
>listen!
>>17840533
They're aliens, dawg. But most of them were killed off or left the earth.
>>17843800
I fucking hate that "oh it's ayys" mentality. Proof or GTFO.
>>17840533
they're as real as you or I.
>>17840544
>And they come in all shapes and sizes too
Can you fuck one?
>>17840533
imagine meme fairies
bump for fairy waifus
in a just world we would all have them.
>>17843812
agreed its annoying as all fuck
>>17840533
I'm real!!!!!
>>17845977
God save the Queen, and save us from her!
Hey, there, good lookin'!
>>17845797
Anon asking the real questions here :^))
Do goblins count as fairies? They tend to be a lot more visible and friendly than their little winged cousins.
Stories about goblins usually end up with something bad happening, but only because humans are assholes.
Like the story of the goblins gold where a guy kidnaps a goblin harasses him for the location of his gold by putting a scarf around the tree of which under it is buried. Only to have the goblin put a scarf around every tree and then leave forever.
Or the story where the farmer steals a goblins land to grow his crops, but the goblin gets angry for obvious reasons. The farmer promises the goblin half his crop if he can stay while the goblin doesn't have to do any work. He offers the goblin the bottom half then grows corn, then the top half and grows potatoes. The goblin curses the man and then probably dies of starvation or something.
Could somebody give me a rundown?
They're basically stray demons right? Or at least, how edgy books and other stories depict demons
>>17846113
Goblins count in my book.
>>17846118
No, they are different entities with different motivations, and a strong dislike for demons and their counterparts as well
>>17843409
N64 fairy.
Leld.
If they exist. They're likely little demons.
>>17847365
>If they exist. They're likely little demons.
Fun Fact: Up until Shakespeare the Fae were NOT considered tiny. In his plays The Bard presented some of them as tiny, yet others were human sized - think Oberon and Titania. But somehow the tiny concept stuck which was mostly notably used for the pre-Titania queen, Maab.
