Just try to find out why the demons are materialising, it usually has to do with trauma/stress/anxiety but it could be something else. Since it's got something to do with your life personally, you need to find out that that thing is and fix it. Literature (preferable christian/islamic) on demons will help.

Also, you should be weary of staying up to late in front of your computer, not to be patronising but it might also be a part of why the demons are becoming visible to you. When you don't rest your body doesn't discharge unnecessary information and eventually makes you sick, it gets your liver especially.

From what I understand of the Bible and the world ghosts are just demons trying to get in our heads.

Later he found out that his roommate experienced the exact same thing and assumed it was my dad standing near his bed at night.
Both of them being Christians at the time, decided together to get out their Bibles and pray and basically commanding the demon to leave their trailer.
And it worked and they never were bothered again.

Basically what it takes to rebuke demons from your house is to
1. be a saved Christian having accepted Jesus as your savior.
2. The knowledge and understanding that as a child of God demons cannot hurt you and you have authority over them and
3. The faith and conviction to rebuke them from your house and never come back.

Anyway, I may be able to debunk your hair issue. You have a black cat, cats shed. It could just be cat hair in all honesty. Paranoia can make normal things seem more strange then they are.

But anyway, if this isn't a gas leak, then I suggest trying this. Take salt, and sprinkle it on your windowsills as if to make a line to block something. Also go to the bathroom and make another one around the stinking area just to make certain, a semi-circle if it's in the corner like you said. If you want to be extra careful about getting marks in your sleep again or whatever, do another around your bed.

Salt is a good all around deterrent for this type of thing. If something really is messing with you and it doesn't have a physical form(or even if it does, cases vary), salt will likely keep it away.

Also, intent is important. You don't have to walk through your house screaming THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU, but while you're placing the salt I recommend(unless somebody is close by to think you're crazy, since I think you mentioned being worried about that) saying out loud that nothing that means you or your family any ill is welcome, and -mean it-.

i took my salt heart with me last night and submerged it for a minute (needless to say its deformed now) but that seemed to calm things down a bit?

Come on, religious method don't have a monopoly. Salt as was suggested is similarly well known to be effective, as well as other methods.
