thank you chess. i didn't cheat, just did something stupid to piss him off. is he angry at me or himself? and do you think he will reach out to me about it? i can't contact him atm.
>>
>>17801613
I think you have to. I feel him really waiting for you.
Is he just a real emotional guy?
Cause on the inside he's pretty complicated.
Maybe you should break it off if he's too young for you.

Alright so here it goes

Raf, 29
Pisces

I'm currently taking medication for schizo symptoms that are practically non-existent now.
It gives a lot of shitty side effects.
My question is, will I ever be able to be off those meds?

I'm also about to move on my own into an apt. I lost my job about a month ago and I don't know how I'll be able to pay my bills despite sending a bunch of applications all over the city.

How will the rest of the year fare for me?
if you need specifics, financially, health wise, emotionally...

please
>>
>>17801641
You know schizo is just another word for untrained shaman.

Go see a shaman maybe your hearing others internal thoughts and it's just too much to handle.
I'd actually like to see you develop your psychic gifts instead of getting a mundane job.
Learn the tarot and invite people into your apartment. Have them give you 60$ for a reading.

See rent and job issue solved...

Don't dull out your guides anon. Your a shaman now. Time to step it up
>>
>>17801641
>My question is, will I ever be able to be off those meds?
Do NOT make the mistake of going off-meds just because you feel better. That means the meds are working... keep it up. I cant tell you if you will ever be off them, my intuition says no, but you will need to discuss that with a proper medical physician, that's not my area of expertise.

>don't know how I'll be able to pay my bills despite sending a bunch of applications all over the city.
You should be able to qualify for financial assistance, can the government not assist you in some way?

>How will the rest of the year fare for me?
Ill read cards give me a minute.

>>17801623

Male, 29, Gemini

How many works should I accumulate to best have a shot at putting certain artwork I produce on exhibition?

Is there any particular theme/subject that would better my chances if included?

What is the most important factor I fail to see pertaining to the success of such a venture?
>>
>>17801641
>My question is, will I ever be able to be off those meds?

Stay on the meds until a medical professional gives you the all-clear. Side effects fucking suck, but there's a scale. If it's "I'm gaining weight," tough it out. Maybe get a gym membership if it's annoying you.

If it's "I spent six months in hospital because I shat out most of my internal organs," then yeah, talk to a doc about getting new meds or altering your dose.

You / Him / Union Significator: 7 of Cups (reversed) / 7 of Wands (reversed) / The Emperor
What He Likes / How to Exploit: The High Priestess / 8 of Swords
What He Dislikes / How to Overcome: 3 of Cups / 5 of Pentacles
Projected Outcome: The Fool (reversed)

Lass, this looks pretty bad. See, he's into quieter girls than you appear to be, and something about you just isn't drawing. You might be steeped in some fantasy and expecting him to be some knight for you fighting.

Not likely. He's more into the quiet evenings and good company. If you're into partying (regardless, he seems to think you are), you're quite mismatched, I think. If you really want this dude, the best I can conclude is that you should present a quieter, softer side of you. Playing the fun girl card will make your position quite hard to win.

Both advice cards counsel holding back a bit, and I think that's just about it. However, you probably should consider whether not he's really worth it. See, he digs your intelligence, but the way you behave just isn't in range of his personal tastes.

If you actually make this happen, though, you might want to take things quite slow: a false start shall likely lead your heart much faster than his, and it seems that conquering him will be much harder than holding on.

Be very careful with this one, good femanon.
>>
Hi, everyone! I have a few questions, if anyone wouldn't mind taking a break from doing readings to answer them.

I'm interested in learning Tarot, and I see that there are a few documents linked in the OP, and I'm grateful for you posting those. So, do you guys consider tarot a good way to get into magick/the occult? I've been wanting to try it seriously for so long now, and I'd eventually want to try my hand at summoning and meditation. Someone in another thread mentioned tarot being a good place for occultists to start, and I was curious about opinions on that.

The other thing is that while I was doing some preliminary research, I came across some interesting information. I'm not sure what everybody believes, but apparently tarot never originated in Egypt or anything like that, but started as a regular deck with which to play card games. It didn't have any occult leanings until the 18th century. What are your guys' thoughts on that?
>>
>>17801661
>Ill read cards give me a minute.

I know I dont do love readings but I see some potential on that front.

I would encourage you to temper your passions and drive with some common sense, youre going to have a hard time this year remaining temperate and measured.

Keep a schedule as best you can, put things in their place, and take some comfort in things being where they're meant to be. Youll want to rush and move quickly, but it is ill advised at this time.
>>
>>17801691
>How many works should I accumulate to best have a shot at putting certain artwork I produce on exhibition?
well that doesnt take cards to tell you "all of them" shoot for "all the works" and when its time to show, show what you can, you know that art isnt a matter of minimal effort for results.

>themes
consumerism? somethign about consumer culture or the emptiness of it? Cards seem to think something along those lines. Maybe even in praise of it, if you can pull off that level of post-irony.

>fail to see
intellectual honesty, be true to yourself and your ideas, and make sure they are well thought out, argued and presented.
>>
>>17801668
I can see the purple in his aura.

And how is it dangerous.... He's more depressed then anything else. A shaman can tie his soul down so he hears only guides until he's ready. To lvl up.

>>

You need to talk about things she's interested. I scryed her and she is apprehensive about you. Since she can't really read your personality.
Can you show more of yourself to her.
>>17801684
Yes but not for long. I see two men. And you'll be divided between them. The rest of your life.

One you'll sleep with the other you'll have kids with. Choose wisely okay.
>>
>>17801720
>How many
Wasn't looking for min/max optimization, more about a "harmonious", "auspicious" number.

>themes, consumerism, praise of it
It does strike a chord in a certain sense. Thanks, will keep it in mind.

>fail to see, intellectual honesty, well thought out, argued and presented.
Thanks, will keep it in mind. I don't see why that should be an issue, but that's actually the point, so I'll make sure to remind myself.

Screencapping now.
>>
>>17801735
> Ill probably have a lot of ups and downs.
more like "fasts and slows" I dont see it as positive and negatives, more like... opportunities to act fast without thinking, and opportunities to take it slow and be cautious, Im encouraging you not to rush anything. Take your time, be careful, be considerate and measure your reactions.
>>

Im getting 2 major works that are explorations and major pieces, the real stepping stones and guides of the larger work, perhaps 9 more, or 9 total works. Which is more harmonious to you 11? or 9? go with your answer.

>will keep it in mind.
cool, Im glad its a neat theme, I only mentioned being intellectually honest and well presented because there will be somethign unseen where this is tested, this is more than good artistic professionalism, keep it clean and honest and strong, dont cheat this one, there will be a test.

Oh goddamn it I love it...

Why do you ask, though? Wouldn't anybody that's even *slightly* (such as me) into astrology answer the same, whatever their solar sign?

Lots

Orange/red mean pain
Purple means magic
Dark green means mundane
Light green means you like something as much as posting
Gold means instant gratification like beating the traitors caravan in metal gear.
Light pink means a long term illness

Cords attached to a person mean soulties of different values. Can be tied to anything.

Auras of digimon are really incredible. Like a rainbow.

I saw a angel once at a spiritual church. But I wasn't paying attention just stared at his wings....

Usually you look at the color then scary into the body to find the real problem like if it's a tumor or just a strain.

It's cute when I scry pepole who cheated and you can see the difference in the blood between the kid and the guy
>>
Reader dudes please tell me, should i tell her the truth? I really thought about it, i truly feel that i shouldnt rock the boat, she's better off without the burden of knowledge. But your dual nature... Has it ever shown up.
I mean what's it like being one of the only signs without depression problems.

Do you ever miss your astral twin
>>
>>17801759
9 or 11 you bastard hahahahahah
that's a choice between a number you use and a number you like. Tough call. But if strictly on harmonious account, 9, it's 3x3 and all-around more useful.
>>
>>17801779
There are truths, and there are facts.
The facts are usually brutal uncomfortable and often unhelpful. They are descriptors that are beyond refutation, they are demonstrable, factual things that do not care who they hurt, because they do not care.

The truth is always helpful even if it's a bit painful. The truth most often includes a solution to a problem, not just a description of a problem. The truth is warm, and it does set one free.

Make sure you are telling her the truth, and not just facts.
>>
>>17801784

>>
>>17801785
how about 9 smaller pieces in a 3X3, make it a play on staying within the established parameters of consumer culture and "staying in the lines" and then 2 larger, more complex pieces that are the major pieces of the body of work, one on either side, something like that?

How far into the future do you want to go.
Weird. I feel a femininity in you. You a girl or are you just around women a lot.

I feel your supposed to be in a authority position in real life and offline.

Like if your in a game your supposed to be a guild leader. Or a mod.

You need your own business. And see you interested in boats later in life.

I see you later getting into carpentry work like building homes and stuff.

But not much is going to happen that's to important for another two to three years.

In between this fill it with posting and painting try getting into contract work with gusion. I see his digimon friends the easiest for you.

Saw some nice akasic lives. Mostly houseboat style lives nice and easygoing

I also want to own a sailboat and sail but I should probably get out first. Is anyone interested?
>>
>>17801793
Cause I always see in Gemini's the loss and need for there twin. It's great though doing astral astrology work calling on a Gemini's lost twin. It helps with there relationship issues and stops them for awhile.

I mean I'm a sadge so I'm a legendary Pokemon. I don't have problems the other zodiac do.

I mean usually Gemini will buy into a one true soulmate thing. When really what they need is just a good friend at the right time.

The dual nature is from the fact your born under twins and your alone. Gemini's usually call upon without thinking there astral twin for her nature and it heals them.

Go read their sticky. It's pretty great. It basically says "We can't be wrong, lol"

">That reading was inaccurate!
That happens sometimes. As previously mentioned, there are different levels of skill and experience represented in these threads. Some readers have years of experience, and some are barely doing their first readings or otherwise practicing. We welcome everyone here, so you might be read by an inexperienced reader sometimes. Not every reader will give you perfectly accurate readings, and some can connect better to you than others. We're all individuals here, remember.

>That reading made me sad / shit sucks / fuck my life
Sometimes you're on a bad path. If you get a negative reading, try to take it as a warning, a sign of how things are currently going. The future is always in flux, and you can always change your luck. Forewarned is forearmed."
>>
>>17802026

You need to work on your reading comprehension friendo, it specifically states that they can be wrong. You even pasted the relevant section in your post.
>>
>>17802042
>implying there is anything here to derail
Two people have been ignored so far and no actual specifics about anything have been said.

Yeah, they can't be wrong because they say it's bullshit by saying "We might be wrong, lol"

Let me rephrase it for you, friendo, "We probably won't be accurate at all and we might be completely wrong but we're totally diviners! See, because we told you we might be wrong then we can say anything while still having an air of confidence."
>>
>>17802038

Show me where it is ever claimed by any of the diviners that they can see anything with this level of specificity. Oh, you cant find anywhere that they said that? Maybe they never actually claimed that and you're full of shit.

So, if I make vague, not-even-wrong predictions then I can be a diviner too? Neat!

>You know honestly there's probably 5000 or more threads on 4chan right now, why are you even here? So you got skipped, cry harder, it wont give you any proof, or more importantly, fix the hyper-critical wreck that you fraudulently call a life.
Literally not a point. I came here with an ope mind looking to see what you were all about and all I see so far is nonsense.
>>
>>17802053
>Let me rephrase it for you

Yeah see what you;re talking about is the escape clause, many diviners use it. With rational sane people who recognize divination for the social, and personal growth tool that it can be, the escape clause is not necessary, because "proof" of "psychic ability" is not necessary to achieve some measure of personal growth and everyone is fine.

For hyperbolic self styled "debunkers" like you, it's required, because your head is so firmly up your ass that you believe you set the standards and definitions for what a diviner is or is not. SO they are forced to state at the outset that inaccuracy is a possibility.

You are entitled to nothing, these readers do this shit for free. Honestly, Id like to help you out, so tell me where you came in.

I came into poetry accidentally. There was a voice and energy that touched mine, and thereafter, I heard a voice speak in rhyme. Poetry he taught me, and prophecy as well, therafter was I able, the future to tell.

Not a reading, but advice: anything is better than NEET. Literally any job is better than doing nothing. Your current job is looking for a job; spend 8 hours per day job-hunting and applying. Send your resume to everyone, and go on every interview that is offered to you. Invest in a suit for your interviews, and learn common interview questions. Practice answering them until they're second nature and you can talk about yourself with confidence.

Get an account on monster.com and make use of their free resume review service. You may or may not want to pay for professional resume improvement, but that's up to you. Research power words and incorporate them into your resume.

Now, if you actually know what you want to do, start looking into what kind of backgrounds they want and start working on that. If, for example, you want to sell a product that requires a license, get that license immediately and take an entry-level job that involves it.

Those dubs are wasted on someone with shit-tier reading comprehension. This is a place for people to practice. Most of the readers here are novices looking to improve.

Would you agree that people who are practicing something are likely to make mistakes while practicing? Would you also agree that these mistakes, combined with useful feedback, are integral to improving?

Now, given that positive atmosphere promotes positive growth, would you agree that comments like yours would inherently detract from a positive atmosphere?

Then you can see how you're basically shitting up the thread and nothing more, right?
>>
>>17802075
>Then call yourself self help gurus or something.
Your failure to understand nomenclature is not our problem. We are not required to follow your classifications nor to meet with your satisfaction in any category. Feel free to leave.

>I just wanted a general reading is all I wanted. A general reading and a suggestion what to do to be happy in life.

And you're butthurt that you didn't get it because someone missed your request, so your next available weapon is to derail the thread and shitpost on people who were doing just fine? You realize no one owes you any proof, any entertainment, any reading or any attention? With your attitude its little wonder that you're looking for guidance from fortune tellers on a korean macrame forum.

People get skipped, it happens, even readers miss stuff. Readers can be wrong, it happens, even rigid scientific process misses details. Perhaps all that divination is, is guesswork and vague generalizations, but even if it is, you are missing the point by such a wide margin, even the help it can give is lost on you because you are so quick to criticize.

You want a reading on how to be happier in life? Here you go, the cards say: Stop being an entitled asshole who feels like theyre owed something. Be more courteous, and for fucks sake, whatever you do, dont ruin other peoples fun because you have had a bad day.

Hows that?

Im not critiquing your semantics, Im LITERALLY questioning whether you are intellectually fit to be attempting the arguments you are attempting to make. (you're not).

>The only masturbating I'm doing is to how completely ass-pained your getting by my presence.

So you're simply deriving pleasure from derailing and upsetting people who were just fine before you showed up. What's it like to only derive pleasure in other people's suffering? Don't you find it stifling to have no purpose in life other than causing misery? Why go on?
>>
>>17802104
yeah, see how that works, the difference between you and I is that, as a relatively sane and rational human being capable of even basic social interaction, I can derive pleasure and even fulfillment from helping, and being helped by others. I honestly hope it helps someone too. Maybe someone would be more willing to help you if you stopped acting like an entitled brat? Just a thought.

That and this asshole who thinks he gets to specially define what a diviner is when it's been properly defined as using "special powers" or "occult means"
>>
>>17802135
It's not an escape clause; it just says we might fuck up because we're fallible, and some of us are inexperienced. The definition of the occult varies and is broad. Tarot can be considered occult according to some definitions.

Rather than wasting your time trying to debate what is occult or not, you might want to consider lurking a bit to see what this is all about. You lurk other places before contributing, right? Doesn't it make sense to lurk here too?

Great. Now, lurk until you find a reader announcing that they are doing readings and query said reader according to the stated requirements.

Enjoy your stay.

Oh so now youre playing with semantics? ok:

Full Definition of divination:
the art or practice that seeks to foresee or foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge usually by the interpretation of omens or by the aid of supernatural powers

see that part where it says "seeks to"? That implies failure in at least some attempts.

Also please take not of the word "or" in the sentence "or by the aid of supernatural powers"
divination as a practice does not require, or even imply the use of supernatural powers. It would seem to me that you have forced your own interpretations on the meaning based on personal bias and not actual definition.

If you want to play the dictionary game, maybe you'd better actually read the fucking dictionary.

>I'm just triggered by the deception here, that's all.
The only deception is in your head. You have not been mislead or deceived. Or more accurately, you probably have been, but not in this thread about it's contents.

>>17802135
>It's was most reading the escape clause that set me off.
>[triggering intensifies]

As I said, it's not even required 99% of the time, it's only the special snowflakes like you that come in and shit all over everything that require its use.

>properly defined as using "special powers" or "occult means"

Im not defining what a diviner is, Mirriam Webster is, see above. Even your own citation states that "occult means" is a valid technique, occult does not imply supernatural, merely occult.

Go back to your r/atheism circlejerk and hug it out with your friends, make sure to tell them that the mean old fortune tellers made you feel inadequate so you showed them how euphoric you are.

Your aura is mostly a blue of varying shades but it appears purple because if the red passing through it and tainting it. You probably are generally calm/nice/whatever blue energies, but the red is some kind of weird energy that's really active and messes it up.

That particular kind of pink doesn't appear to me commonly so... hard to say. The pink and red dominate the aura. The white/cream is pretty passive in nature. The pink is deeply ingrained, heavy, thick, solid... The red is active, coats everything, powerful. So take that as you will.

I dabble into it a bit, but aura readings are something I don't usually do.

Interesting. The first time I looked at it, it felt like I was more poking your energy core instead of aura. The aura itself at first was more yellow and brown, sparks of brown I mean, and the core itself was black with yellow sparks, seemingly not letting me close. Agitated. I feel pressure on my throat; are you exhausted, by chance?
I tried again and it seems to be a bit more bright, clearing up and all. More grey, white and very faint marks of blue, but the core still retains that ''shocking'' feeling to it.

A man in contemplation. Are you deciding what to do with your life right now? It doesn't feel quite like a life-altering decision, what I'm getting from this, but something fairly serious is coming up. Whatever it is, it will have an immediate effect, but it shouldn't stretch more than six months. Don't stress yourself out over whatever it is. Also, fight with your words, not your fists.

A fabulous, faceless frog. Looks like you could use some silliness in your life. Do you have a tough family situation going on right now? Because I'm feeling that more than romance or friendship for some reason. Someone will seemingly come out of left field and brighten your world if you let them. Blood may be thicker than water, but sometimes even family can be a lost cause.

Mushrooms. Huh. I hate to get so personal, but, uh, is there something going on in the sexual department? Some kind of hangup, maybe? Or a little bit of touch-phobia going on in you or someone you care deeply about and would like to touch? Or maybe there's something you know you're not supposed to have or want or even know about, but you want it anyway? Either way, this picture is telling me "do not touch," and I'm not quite sure what it's referring to. The only advice I can give is be patient with yourself.

Leaving behind an abusive home in a bit of a more dramatic fashion than I would have liked, but it doesn't matter too much in the end. I simply do hope that it's something that will pass away in time and I will be able to proceed further and walk away from it all.

Too draining, that it was, too draining to keep up with...

Nancy Sinatra's "These boots are made for walkin'" was playing in my head the entire time I was drawing this. Was there recently a divorce in the family? Maybe a bad breakup or a business collapsed? Whatever it was, something good can be made of it. Turn it into art. Definitely art. Art is pain, I've heard said.

And I'm glad you got out of your bad situation. I know what it's like to leave a shitty home. Keep your chin up. It does get better even if you have to slum it or couch surf for a while.

A young man pulling a tube from his neck. This may look grim, but it's actually not. Are you making a decision about schooling or a career path soon? Do you feel like someone else is trying to make that decision for you? This is giving me medical and engineering vibes, but ultimately the choice is yours. Don't let others drain you of your will.

I see a yellow flower. Simple and little it was, surrounded by nothing of note. Grey and white, the ground and the sky, all but which stood out was the little yellow flower. It was seemingly trying to look around and observe, trying to see, but was there anything to see? Was I perceiving the senses through the flower, seeing nothing as it does the same? The flower trashes about for a bit, calming down, but yet trying to see just what was around it. Lost, by chance?

The flower settles down in time, and I see it using it's leaves, using them to touch the ground, to see in another way. Taking a different perspective through whatever it can, given the tools it has. It's own body is able to perceive in another way, it's simply the matter for the mind to realize that the tools, the capability, is all there, but it's all up to the mind and the will to use it to the best of it's advantage.

Feedback, please. This was a general.

Good job! See if you can't pull more specifics in the future, feel a direction you're being pulled in and pieces will fall into place.

A holy knight with a burning heart, holding a sword with no real description that I could give. A clean, pure sword, with seemingly nothing but yet everything that stood out about it. He stood in a church, facing a stained glass panel of what seemed like the figure of Jesus Christ, facing sideways. It looked beautiful and detailed, but the knight had other ideas.

He walked up to the panel and swung his sword at it, breaking into the glass. It was less of glass breaking and more ripping apart a piece of paper, seemingly uncovering a kind of a pathway behind the panel. An illusion of some kind. A sensation of peeking behind the curtains in a theater, seeing what the actors do behind the scenes.

The knight walks into what seemed pure darkness behind the panel, and there is a sense of fear, a sense of uncertainty, a sense of agitation. There is something completely new and unknown to him, but he does not seem to be alone. Dark spirits wrap around the pillars of darkness, noticing the knight and then floating about him. One jumps in front; a dark haired, gnarly, wrinkled expression of a woman.

From all of the symbolism, I would be tempted to say that you may just start looking into religion, or perhaps you're going to cut past what seems to be pure and holy, virtuous even, being one yourself, following it, believing in it, and see what it actually is behind it all. Revealing an illusion and seeing how dark it really is...
The future is warped and can always change, and my sight is one of which is allegorical. Keep your wits about you, friend.

>>
>>17802548
I feel flattered. That was pretty intense.

Funny you should mention a gnarled old woman. My adoptive mother tormented me for many years. She was sixty when she adopted me as a toddler. I can certainly see that as a "fighting my own demons" kind of thing.

Also funny that you should mention getting into religion. I'm half Mayaami, and have been considering looking into tribal culture for some time now.

Thank you very much for taking the time to do that.
>>
>>17802563
Perhaps religion will help you to see past your problems and face them. Letting go of things, like let's say, the torment and the sorrow that your adoptive mother has likely caused to you, and then fighting them and conquering them, moving forward and shining your inner light upon everything that's dark up ahead. Religion is not all about worship, after all, it's about learning and growing one's self and knowledge that you have on the world, and in turn, yourself.

Good luck to you, you'll do well on that path. You gave me a rather pleasant reading, with words that I hear often, but yet need to have re-affirmed from time upon time, and I gave you something in turn.

Looks like it's trying to be a bobcat, just with more dramatic whiskers. Speaking of drama - don't. Someone in your life had some major drama going on and it's way above your pay grade. If it hadn't already hit, it will soon. Like, within a month soon. Don't be rude, but don't get involved, either. If you're already involved, back away slowly. Predators can smell your fear.

That's the last one I'm doing this morning. I'll stick around for a few if anyone wants to chat about their readings, but I really gotta do the dishes and get to bed.

The moment you said i went to YT to hear this song and see the lirycs, 'cause i didn't remembered

The lirycs sounds like a revenge.. Like you didn't wanted me, now you want me and i don't want anymore.

I tracked down a post from last time.
Here's the copypasta for the unintiated
>>17802647
I'll get on it after this post.
------
Hey /div/
I think a lot of divination is contacting demons or spirits.
I've been interested recently in ITC, people using electronic devices to contact spirits. The most common one is getting a radio and having it scan through the channels, and take the snippets of speech you get from songs and other stuff and piece it together to make a message.
I don't have a radio that can scan like that, so I started thinking how I could do this another way.
I don't have a radio to take snippets of speech from but I do have 3 months of IRC logs to play with. These were all typed in by human people, the same way the songs on the radio were recorded by human people.

So I made a script that takes random snippets of sentences, takes random amounts of words from them and smashs them together with other sentences with other random amounts of words. I think this is a reasonably random way of giving a stream of stuff for the spirits to speak through.

So anyway, does anyone want to try asking the spirits something through this program?

The good that will come of it is something you will make or do. I don't see a repairing of the relationship, but anything can happen. What I saw was more of a moving on to bigger and better things type of deal, not necessarily revenge. Then again, they do say the best revenge is a life well lived. If you have any artistic talent, use it.

That I know. They're still just a bit too accurate, and it's not like I'm saying this without having at least several readers giving the exact same results. I mean really, once more than four say that it's going to be good and it's likely my best decision compared to what I could have done, then it's bound to be something. You're just another in the list.

I hear them a good amount of time and I know damn well just how much they know, but yet at the same time, they may not say it, they may say it and cloud it in rubbish, or say something, but it won't matter in the end. It's weird stuff, ain't it?

Yeah, I think you'll do good with it. Can't really go wrong when all you do with it is give answers to people's random questions on /x/ of all the fucking places.

I mean hell, you use a script to talk to spirits, there's tarot bots on the /div/ IRC that give surprisingly accurate reads, there's some other people who evoke spirits into empty bots and make them say shit, technomancy, etc... and a good amount of them are viable, since it's really just using a different kind of a method for what seems like the same system underneath it all. You're still getting knowledge from somewhere, just... in a different way.

My take on it, I suppose. /shrug

This demon(EDIT:possibly/probably human) has a thing for super low quality food today.
>>
What do they mean by low quality food being repeated?
Supposedly demons feed off fear. If so, I would be low quality food.
>>
It's a demon isn't it. Otherwise I wouldn't have jumped to calling it a demon.

What are my crush's feelings?

Will they ask me out?

I wonder what would happen if instead of taking the 3 months of IRC logs I took a book by Crowley. Probably a bad idea.
But maybe a book by Bill Cooper would be filled with light.

If anyone wants the source code to this, here it is http://pastebin.com/8xXNHmut
Just substitute where it says "brain.txt" for any text file in the same directory.

How would I run the code? I'd be pretty interested to do something similar, if you won't mind.
>>
>>17802781
Install gentoo (or any linux)

save script as text file. run "chmod 777 ghost_in_the_shell.sh" without the quotes to make it executable. Then run it by butting dotslash before it, so
./ghost_in_the_shell.sh
Make sure you have a file called brain.txt in the same directory for it to feed from. I'm not uploading brain.txt because that's 3 months of people's IRC conversations I logged without permission...but I think any large text file would work.

You know what, thinkinbg about this I'm not so sure.
The whole point was the irtc logs were human conversation.
So maybe books would work because they were written by humans. But just random large dictionaries would be useless.

I tried getting your code running, but it seems to find an error or something in there, or a syntax error. Not sure if it's the fact that I'm trying to run this on Cygwin or something.
>>
>>17802880
>Cygwin
Just install Linux scrub. At least in a virtual machine.

Cygwin will work well, but you have to be a Linux guru to know what to install to use it. So it's kinda annoying.
>>
>>17802883
>>17802880
oh wait, you did put a file called brain.txt in the same directory right?
>>
>>17802886
Yeah, I did. I'm going to try to get it running on VM and see if there's any kind of a difference.
>>
>>17802880
post screenshot of the error (hit printscreen button while looking at it, open mspaint and ctrl+v it into there, save it and post it here) I want to see what the error is.
>>
>>17802890
There might be some funky regex going on because the texct file wasn't a strict IRC log, it was the brain.txt file from an eggdrop bot with some kinda chatbot plugin on it. I had to do some weird parsing to fuck with the file. There's a possibility it just needs a little tweak for a normal text file.

Fuck cygwin man. It would be quicker to install Linux than to fix a basic bullshit problem like this.
>>
>>17802902
Already well on my way with doing that. Just didn't want to bother with VM because my laptop can barely run anything as it is, let alone a fucking VM.

Give me a few to see if I can get it running on actual Linux.
>>
>>17802906
You can make a VM with just a text install, no fancy desktop. That will be fine to run this. Any toaster could do it.
