I only really listen to his collab with The Melvins but that album is damn good.
Nobody wants to mention this album because it's become a pretty popular meme to hate Tool

Milquetoast crap after TDS.
>>17780177
TDS is a much better album, but I think Right Where It Belongs is his most blatantly existential song.
>>17780075
Because it has a toxic fanbase that has a better that thou complex.
We get it Tool writes deep music. (They think)
>>17780185
Yes the fanbase can be toxic, but Tool actually writes some pretty deep music.

What's the name of the album with the anime guy? the one that is just to the right of Black One of Sunn O)))?
'The Black Ram' album by Magnolia Electric Co. is really pagan, though good luck finding the whole thing on Youtube.
A lot of his work has a folksy paganism to it, but definitely most obvious on Black Ram (ignoring the Skinwalker song from a previous band he headed).

You're right, there are some gems in there.
Not even joking, I keep watching this vid every day because the song gets stuck in my head. Other than this, it's all Wolf Eyes and Slayer.

Darude - Sandstorm
This is my personal case, but power metal about Vikings and dragons and shit. I know, but bear with me.
Closest I've come to nirvana was while meditating to ManOwaR at dangerous levels. But I'm a Norse pagan and am very familiar with Triumph of Steel, so it was easy enough for me to trance out with a mantra. Unfortunately I don't always get a decent chance to sit down in a dark room and crank power metal for an hour, so I haven't repeated the process.
Strange feeling, it felt like I would imagine being blasted with cheesy camera effect energy in an 80's fantasy movie would feel.
I only have the vaguest superstitions when it comes to magic, but I do believe music has power.
I bet this song could dispel any kind of negative influence you've had on your day.

I listen to all the music I can, but as far as what feels occult and ritualistic, and disturbing to me I can only think of noise music.
This for instance:

Lots of Christian themes, very weird atmosphere, very jarring and creepy, but strangely hypnotizing.
