Anti-Cosmic Satanism (Current 218):

Came to public attention when one of the founders of the movement, Jon Nodveit (lead singer of popular metal band Dissection), shot himself in the head while sitting in front of a copy of Liber Azerate, a Current 218 grimoire, shortly after getting out of prison and releasing the album Reinkaos, which elaborates the cult's beliefs.

A secret society need not conceal, or attempt to conceal it's existence. In order to be considered a secret society, an organization just needs to be exclusive, claim to have secret knowledge made available only to members, or even just certain members, and tend to strongly favor and show preferential treatment towards members over outsiders.
