Mark my words, they have been talking about mincome (some of its many names: guaranteed income, negative tax rate, etc.) since the 70's and we are already seeing it become normal to discuss it in polite circles now. It will happen. The NEET paradise will come about, money without having to be ill or infirm, guaranteed housing in urban centers that are fully gentrified.

The future looks bright. It won't be socialism like we have seen before, and it wouldn't be capitalism by definition. It will be many things to many people, and it will be impossible to divorce from reality once it is created.

Your politics and political opinion will be just as irrelevant as it is today. Your understanding of the words and desire to assign labels to better comprehend larger trends will be as facile as it is now.
