The closest I came to meeting a deity was shortly before I got married. I had two dreams in the same night in which I was visited by a white peacock. In the dream it felt like I was being paid a visit by somebody important. Looked it up the next day and found that the peacock is a symbol of Hera, who among other things is a patron deity of married women.

I'm sure it was just my unconscious dredging that up from my previous readings about Greek myth, but it is still kinda neat to think that Hera was swinging by to give me Her thumbs up.

My body is currently being hosted by YHWH, the abrahamic god. He lives in all my bodily functions. He is a sly deceiver that transforms every word you speak onto himself. I hear him in my head 24 hour a day, This has been going on for almost 4 years now. He shows me visions in my sleep. And I am pretty close to killing myself. After watching Prometheus(the Alien Prequel one) in theaters when it first came out my friends and I got Ice cream. We were approached by a fat latino guy who claimed he was God. He seemed to just be high on some drugs. He claimed he would be on the news and he was super dedicated to spreading the word that abortion was wrong. He also talked a bit about space and stuff. I don't remember much else.

Otherwise I am a catholic and therefore I technically see Jesus/God every sunday in the Eucharist. I have received some divine inspiration and omens from Him too.

I have also met various spirits, only in dreams though. I met an Undine(in the form of a jellyfish creature) and a Gnome(In the form of a naked dirty Danny Devito).

I may have met a ghost before but I have no concrete proof that it was a ghost.

Dead relatives visit me in dreams sometimes. It's probably just my subconcious greaving, but perhaps not.

Its interesting how weird the world gets once you start paying attention to your dreams.
