nihilophobia; fear of nothingness (comes from the combination of the Latin word nihil which means nothing, none,

Im beginning to fear my own strength.
>>17747313
Go eat a sauce
>>17747313
Can you perceive things under 20kg?
Tryophobia. I have mostly overcome it.
Fear of heights and high speed traveling, stranded in the middle of the ocean, and large clouds (might be a tornado).
Some video games gave me fears such as the fear of finding a half alive dead body in a locker or cabinet and my own hallucinations gave me the fear of being stalked.
>>17747255
No, it's the absence of light. So there is no light to bounce on anything and then be catched by your eyes.
Justfuckmyshitupophobia. The fear that someone will sneak up on me and give me a JUST haircut.
I've had some weird ones.
A phobia of crushing bugs, taking pills, and the Mona Lisa are things I've had in my life. I still have the first one.
>>17747518
>No, it's the absence of light.
then its still a thing.
>>17747555
I have tripophobia and you've just triggered it with those trips. Knees weak. Arms are heavy.
But >Mona Lisa. What did you fear about it?
>>17747562
Not the person who you're replying to but I understand how that anon feels. It's not that I think the painting is ugly or isn't a piece of art, but something about Mona Lisa's face straight up unsettles the hell out of me, I can't look at her for more than 4 seconds without feeling weird.
>>17747573
That's interesting. I find her kind of somewhere between demure and enigmatic, not especially creepy. But that's interesting though.
>>17747239
If you're able to fear it isn't there something there, like a concept at least?
I just fear failure. I guess I'm normal?
>>17747239
normies scare me, so i stay in my house
i guess agoraphobia

a very specific kind of claustrophobia.
hear me out.
>going on a trip with friends
>discover a cave, proceed to enter
>its dark, torchlights barely lighting up whats ahead of us
>walls closing in, cave appears to be getting smaller
>difficult to crawl, 4-5 guys lined up one after one like the human centipede movies
>barely can fit the torso
>hear a crack
>rocks fall behind the last guy
>rocks block the entrance we came from. cant go further forward as the hole is too small
>no tools to carve rock
>die there, suffocating, screaming
Getting falsely accused of something
Plumbing

Alright FDR
>>17748536
That's typical claustrophobia
Hear me out, I'm not overly scared of hights, but I feel a sense of terror when I gaze up into the night sky and realise the vastness I'm staring into. It's like I could be swallowed by the near infinity of space.
Nosophobia; fear of contracting a disease.
I also plan to study medicine, so I expect that said nosophobia will work alongside Medical Students' disease (hypochondria where medical students worry they have contracted the disease they are studying) to give some fun, amplified effects.
>>17747239
The ocean and parasites. That's pretty much it.
>>17747239
The thought of other planets, all being so huge and circling empty through space creeps me out. Pics of Jupiter especially.
>>17747543
Yeah man it's really fucking my shit up mentally
>>17747239
What is it called if you're phobic only towards gay men and not lesbians?
>>17749313
normal?
>>17747239
What's the opposite of nihil? That's what I'm afraid of.
>>17748581
I use to feel the same way too when I was younger I almost threw up a couple times when I looked up at the sky day or night
>>17749679
lol no. Any man who is confident in his straightness is not afraid of gay men.
>>17750098
Night sky is comfy for me. Daytime sky in an area with wide plains, on the other hand...
Being Alone.
>>17748640
What about ocean parasites?
Cancer. Two- three packs a day, damn I'm an arrogant shit
Don't know what it's called, Xenophobia? I've always had fear of the unknown, opening doors and not knowing what's on the other side, not knowing what lurks in the darkness, not knowing what lurks in murky water etc
The Wyoming incident. I have no idea what is up with all the stupid stuff in between, but oh god the Mitt Romney parts still give me nightmares.
>>17752130
Never heard of it, sounds intriguing thought, care to explain more? Especially about these "Mitt Romney" parts.
>>17752149
Happened at the beginning and the end. A couple reporters were talking about him just right before the signal cuts out.
>>17752149
A news report from 2007 about Mitt Romney gets interrupted by a series of weird faces and odd sayings, while surrealist music plays in the background.

This is definetly a phobia of mine. The idea of death has always scared me a lot even since I was a kid and understood the concept of death. Even the heat death of the universe turns my stomach. Just imagine nothing at all for all eternity, as if there never even was anything there. It's such a terrifying thought to me.
>>17750180
Maybe I'm a lesbian in a male body then ;S
Trypophobia
>>17752907
Nah. You're just a bitch.

It's a fake video, there was no broadcast signal intrusion like that.
That said, when I first watched it when it was getting popular, it disturbed me enough that I couldn't sleep for a few days, and just the idea that someone could hack a TV station and transmit something like that.
>>17752938
how does that work ?
>>17747459
I have trypophobia pretty bad too, but it's not a fear, it's anger intstead. When I see something trypophobic I get angry like it shouldn't exist and I want to just crush it or destroy it somehow.
Like that involuntary anger that you get when you get hit in the nose.
>>17752547
Me too anon me too.
Its actually my greatest fear.
I am an atheistic biological realist and the thought of just not existing anymore one day makes me shit my pants in fear.
Other non religious people whom i told this are usually like "whatever you simply dont exist anymore, there is nothing to fear because you wont feel fear".
I too wonder how long biological life from earth, and therefore part of my dna will keep itself going.

Are you scared of sleep as well? Sleep is virtually being blacked out experiencing nothing, almost like death, for quite a few hours.
Sometimes I',m scared of sleeping but eventually fatigue get's the best of me.
