Regarding my lifespan, I'm not entirely sure, as I already stated. It took me weeks to climb up the shore, the chains had since become untangled and I was able to free myself, but the armor piece I was wearing had been crushed in such a way that it form-fitted my body completely, weighing me down and causing that climb upshore to be quite strenuous. But I did make it, and felt enlightened in some sort of way I can't explain. I traveled north through southwestern Africa, where I had washed ashore, bare in mind I'm still wearing this metal chest piece which for the life of me I could not remove. I encountered many African people who saw my metal body and assumed me to be a deity

Well if the impact is high enough speed both the characteristics of the weapon and the metal armor will become liquid and both will suffer under liquid deformation from the impact.

I don't recall when exactly liquid deformation of metals occurs but it might be significantly more than a human could achieve.

On the hand metal armor was often really terrible quality and I can 100% believe it breaking apart under sufficient force, it could be something like high carbon content in the metal or just a really shitty day from the worker not quenching it correctly.
