so when I was 14 I lived in Scotland for a year

Anyway there was this huge ass forest behind our house, everyone in the village used to go there and walk dogs or pick rare flowers/berries. There was a stream of fresh water, perfectly eatable apples and pear trees and even a few interesting facts posted on signs throughout the man made path.

I don't remember going in too often but when I did I would never like it, there was too many twists and turns to get lost in. Anyway my worst memory was when I got lost in the forest without anyone, I stopped to get a stone out of my boot and next thing I know I'm lost..
There was a huge stone building which used to be a winery in the 1600's. And I was too scared to keep moving so I went inside he building which had no windows, no doors and only 3 walls, I sat down on a huge rock and lit a fire (with a box of matches I had), there were some dry twigs and leaves so I used those. I was still scared and my brother didn't seem to come back for me, with night approaching quickly i zipped up my jacket and rested against one of the walls.

At around 2 or 3am I woke up, and the fire was burning away still, I threw a few leaves and a branch or two on.

And as the fire grew my vision of behind the fire was blinded by light, and I'm 100% sure that I saw something looking at me, about 9 or 10 feet off the ground, huge pulsating gaze that scared the living fuck out me.. I rested my head against the walls and squinted trying to see it better, it was definatley there, and after about 40 or 50 minutes the fire died down.. Which is when I saw light (flashlights to be specific) it was my mother and father, and the second I jolted to look at the source of the lights, was exactly when this ... Monster or fucked up man looked away. I mean he turned his head as fast as fucking lightning and bolted away.. I still have nightmares from time to time... And this thing... It wasn't human. It's eyes were at least 5 inches apart.. Maybe more
