Can /x/ recommend me some really crazy ass supernatural horror movies?
Space Jam
Annie.
The original not the remake
Ok seriously..
The first Poltergeist and Hellraiser movies were fucked up, as was A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Stephen Kings "IT".
Whether they've aged well or not idk I haven't watched them for a while, but it's a good place to start.
The Shining is still good.
Jumanji

The remake sure was spooky

>asking the underage population on /x/ for movie reccomendation
The real answer is : Drag me to Hell.
Just waatched the VVitch this morning. Not a traditional horror movie by most standards. But it was a pretty intense and unsettling, to say the least

Inland Empire is pretty crazy ass and fucked up.
Lost Highway.
As Above So Below sounds like it'd be up your alley OP.
The Eye is pretty good. Make sure you watch the original Chinese version not the shitty american remake.

Seconding the shining. Can't say much on the others, except I didn't like the poltergeist remake.
>>17692361
You just listed some of the worst overrated movies ever.
>>17692341
The Borderlands. It's a goddamn intense movie.
>>17693791
I wouldn't really recommend Inland Empire to anyone who isn't a big fan of David Lynch.
>>17696050
They were good in the late 80's/early 90's.
>>17696263
so? this is 2016 not the late 80's/early 90's. w t f

>>17696050
jesus christ, get back to facebook and/or twitter
OP, your picture reminds me of a burning times documentary from 1922 called Haxan. Good film.
>>17696356
this is /x/, op is asking for movies that will scare him not "scary movies your parents let you stay up late to watch"
>>17692341
watch drag me to hell, you won't regret it
Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser, It, Lovely Molly, Honeymoon, The Witch, It Follows
>>17692361
>IT
PG-13 tv miniseries garbage
>The Shining
Only good until you read the book
>>17692361
the shining has aged amazingly well, the rest not so much. IT is still good, but not as scary anymore.
>>17692341
in my opinion, re-kill while not super scary has an atmosphere of dread and doom that was really unsettling. it sort of falls into a more action intensive, it does a good job of conveying the fact that humanity is doomed.

Nobody never recommends nothing older than 20 years in this threads.
Are you incapable of watching old movies?
>>17697185
Old movies are too fucking ugly to watch. They also resemble plays too much.
>>17697214
You don't watch plays either?
Good lord never believed in those conspiracies to make people dumber, till now.
>>17696356
Check this faggot out
>>17692428
Underrated
Altered States is a great movie that I would call borderline supernatural
>>17697185
Interesting film, cheers.
>>17697520
I like Possession from 1981
>>17697290
